I recently visited this clinic after recovering from COVID-19. Two days after my fever subsided, I began experiencing severe lower back pain that kept me awake for almost the entire night. I was having hip pain and lower back pain and was looking for all sorts of alternatives. I had tried Chiropractic and had even been to the orthopedist and gotten a Cortizone shot. Then I found New Hope. Miraculously my insurance covered 12 sessions for the year, so I was so excited to be able to try it out. Honestly it has been a life-changing experience. Not only does my hip and lower back feel better but my overall energy and ability to take care of my children and do my job has been much more manageable since Ive started these sessions. I was treated by Dr. Shui for a lingering pain in my side that no one could find an answer for. After one treatment, the pain was gone and did not return! I get constant headaches and backaches from constantly sitting in from of a monitor for my job. I hate taking pain pills and tried a different acupuncture clinic based on recommendation of my neighbor and had mixed results. That’s how I ended up at the New Hope acupuncture and wellness center. I had 2 problems before I went to acupuncture. One time a severe problem with triggle fingers and the other is my back feel cold from inside in the winter. Western doctor said my back cold feeling is psychological but it is not. I took some Chinese medicine and feel much better now. My trigger fingers on both hand is also getting a big much better but have not get it fully cured. I would recommend people with pain to try alternative medicine and acupuncture should give it a shot.

New Hope made me believe in acupuncture!I have a history of sinus issues, and following a bad cold last april, I was dealing with a month long flare up that left me cold, congested, and in lots of pain, anxiety, and fatigue. Within an hour of the first visit, my congestion lightened up significantly. A month later, and my symptoms that were lingering from the cold slowly disappeared. Rachels technique not only brought about the healing process, but also made it more bearable as each visit would cause immediete relief followed by progressively improved healing.Ive visited other acupuncturists before, and their techniques were painful and uncomfortable, in addition to bearing negligible results. At New Hope, not only do the needles feel comforting, but the results are significant enough where you know for a fact it isnt a placebo.If you are experiencing long-lasting sinus issues, I highly recommend!
I had had two episodes of vertigo in addition to my chronic migraines when I reached out to New Hope acupuncture. I had no knowledge about acupuncture or its benefits. Googled the closest acupuncture clinic and ended up here. The doctor was kind enough to accommodate me on the same day and stayed late for my treatment. To my surprise, after just one session, I felt much relief from the constant light-headedness I was experiencing due to the vertigo. After 2 sessions, I have seen a huge improvement with my migraines (I used to get headaches at least once a week, carrying medication around with me). Having seen great benefits, I am continuing with more sessions to alleviate other concerns and to improve my general health. About the doctor; she takes time to listen and then treat. It’s a small little office with neat rooms and a very relaxing ambience.

The acupuncture treatment was very effective! I had persistent headaches that didn’t want to go away, but after around two rounds of acupuncture they stopped entirely and haven’t come back. All staff are very nice and extremely thorough. Treatment is also very adaptable; before each session there is a back and forth check-up about your current health and so the treatment every time is adjusted to meet the most recent changes in your health situation, making treatment especially effective. For instance, I had initially gone to cure my headaches but the doctor also helped get rid of a very bad cold I suffered from during one specific week during treatment. All in all, great experience, would recommend.
I had been suffering with terrible muscle spasms for months. My tried different treatments from my medical doctor, with little relief. Glad I found New Hope. After my 1st visit I started to feel better. Not only did my spasms reduce but my sleep improved and my acid reflux has decreased. Dr. Shu is extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. If you are scared of needles, please DONT, you won’t feel them at all, a mosquito bite would be more painful, and so whichever pain you are dealing with…My husband got severe hiccups (a week non stop hiccups) we tried EVERYTHING without success, I remember I came here a year ago because of some migraines and acupuncture helped me with just the first session, so we decided to try, and once again, the hiccups were gone for good. It’s been a year now since I did the acupuncture for my migraines and I haven’t had not even a mild headache. It’s life changing. Highly recommend, Junting is THE BEST in town.

Was given New Hope as a recommendation to help with some issues and Ive been very surprised. I have sleep apnea and allergies/sinus issues so my sleep and energy have been low for years. After one session here I feel so much better and have been consistently sleeping really well and i definitel have more energy. I also had a few little pains that I told Rachel about and those are feeling better too after 3 sessions.Rachel is really good. She takes the time to see what she can help you with and does a great job of making you feel better. The sessions are relaxing and beneficial- at least they have been for me. The rest of Rachels staff is friendly and nice and the scents and music they have in the rooms are soothing and relaxing as well.Once my initial sessions are done I plan to continue going to New Hope as I think having these sessions will continue to benefit me greatly.

I highly recommend New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness to anyone seeking acupuncture treatment! I had booked an appointment due to neck stiffness, and abdominal pain. I had gone to see a primary care doctor about the stomach pains I was experiencing, and after a panel of tests, they were not able to diagnose the pain or recommend any effective treatment. After one session of meeting with Ms. Shu which consisted of answering some general questions and my first treatment, I felt relief and knew I was in good hands. During subsequent treatments, I have continued to feel relief and the symptoms I was experiencing began to subside. My experience has been excellent from booking to treatment!
Dr Junting helped us get through the fertility issues this year and we are highly grateful for her support in this journey. My wife had low amh of about 0.5 and my morphology was at 1% only. We also had 3 chemical pregnancy losses in last 2 years and was an emotionally and physically taxing on my wife health. When we consulted Dr Junting, she evaluated our health conditions, especially hormonal health and started treating both of us. My wife started feeling refreshed and grew very confident overall in terms of fertility health. Dr. Shu is very knowledgeable. I had a lower back pain with no acupuncture experience before seeing her. She talked with me for half an hour to understand my health situation before starting the procedure. She told me my kidney and stomach do not rest well at night, by looking at my face and tongue (which is true because I stayed late at night, had a kidney stone and a stomach issue before). She used her palm to press my chest and abdomen and finger to pinch my hand & foot, and based on my feelings, she told me which organs I need to pay attention to. Her explanation makes perfect sense, and the treatment made me feel very relaxed (I felt some warm water flowing under my back although there was no water at all). When I shared my amazing experience with my coworkers at lunch, two of them told me they visited Dr. Shu before and had the same positive experience. Highly recommend!!
I have been to Dr. Shu since this summer for my stroke and other issues. Dr. Shu told me it would take a bit of time to recover on the stroke issue on the head. She has been also taking care of my other issues such as sleeping problems at night, shoulder pain, and etc. The most recent issue I would like to share is the floaters in my right eye. I have the 2 big floaters occured overnight. Although my eye doctor told me it was because the age caused, I still have Dr. Shu to give me the treatment. After 2 sessions of acupuncture, I found my floaters shrinking a lot. It was like a miracle to me. I will continue the treatment and hope it will go away soon. I also feel I have gained my energy back since my stroke. This is another thing I would like to share since I started acupuncture with Dr. Shu. I hope I can pass my luck to other people who have similar issues can get help from Dr. Shu.

I went in for lower and upper back pain. I tried massages and cupping elsehwere which didnt help much. After just one session at New Hope I felt like the pain was 90% gone! It felt amazing and Im Looking forward to seeing results from other areas!

I came in without having tried acupuncture before. I had an ER visit where I was dealing with extreme back and abdomen pain and there was no diagnosis or treatment given to me by my doctors so I decided to try acupuncture. This was the best decision I made. I felt so validated when I told them my symptoms and pains. I was not able to sleep on my back due to the pain and couldnt sleep through the night. After the first time going, I had the most restful sleep since the first onset of my symptoms. She talks you through the process and every step that she does during a session so you feel relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend coming and trying acupuncture. I have felt great and even my doctors have told me to continue!

Dr. Shu is excellent, and I highly recommend New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness. What I appreciate most is how caring and thorough Dr. Shu is. She asks about previous symptoms and how I am feeling at the start of each appointment. Though the practice is busy, my appointments never feel rushed. Dr. Shu takes her time and I leave the office feeling great. The staff there is wonderful, too.My original health concern was plantar fasciitis, which I had for almost a year. Dr. Shu treated it and Im now 100% pain-free. I had tried PT and going to the podiatrist, but neither made it better.
My daughter and I contracted Covid in early January of 2024. We recovered in the usual time frame from the initial infection, but both of us continued to fall ill for the next 3 months with debilitating exhaustion, headaches, dizziness, fever, heart palpitations, aches, low appetite, disrupted sleep, and painful abdominal cramps. By the time I found Dr. Shu at New Hope Acupuncture, I was desperate for help. My daughter had missed 4 weeks of school, and was misdiagnosed post-Covid by her doctors with “some other virus” and “sinus infections,” placed on antibiotics twice, plus a host of other OTC medications that made her even more ill. It was like a miracle finding Dr. Shu. She immediately recognized our symptoms as Long Covid, and we have both had amazing results. After just ONE acupuncture session, my daughter’s energy returned, and she was quickly able to return to school and her friends! Dr. Shu is very special and cares so much about her patients. When my daughter had stomach pains in the evening, Dr. Shu went above and beyond after work hours: she put together a special blend of medicinal herbs for me to pick up for my daughter, which helped her immediately. I was very worried about my daughter, and Dr. Shu also texted me to check in on my child that evening, the next morning, and the following evening! I have never received this type of care and concern from any medical professional. She is very reassuring. After only 4 sessions, my daughter has “graduated” from Dr. Shu’s care and is back to school and all her activities.As for my own treatment, all I can say is Dr. Shu has given me my life back. My case was a little more complex so I need a few more sessions than my daughter, and various herbal supplements to aid my acupuncture treatments. That said, I went from being completely bedridden for weeks to being able to live my life like a normal person again, including working. Gone is the debilitating exhaustion, headaches, dizziness, low appetite. I am sleeping well for the first time in years, and feel a sense of calm I have not felt in a long time. I am still in the middle of treatment as I write this review, but every week I improve so much, and I believe I will be fully well again very soon after a few more treatments. Dr Shu is extremely skilled, kind, and caring. I give Dr. Shu and her wonderful assistant my highest recommendation. For those dealing with the difficulties of Long Covid, please know there is light at the end of the tunnel at New Hope Acupuncture. Dr. Shu provided expert treatment for my neck pain and related tingling in arms. The acupuncture process addressed issues systemically, releasing tension and tightness in neck and back muscles and improving the nerve sensation issues significantly. I started with New Hope to help with a pinched nerve which caused pain in my left shoulder and arm. They were very accommodating and saw me on short notice, even extending their normal hours to help me. A few days after my first session, my pain was greatly reduced to where it was not longer bothersome. I decided to have them also treat my life long digestive issues. This is my first experience receiving acupuncture and holistic treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. I always feel safe and comfortable, and know I am with a wise healer. So far, I have experienced less stress, headaches, and anxiety. I have been able to slowly decrease and eventually get off of my anti-depression medication with success. I had been suffering with a migraine and neuropathy in my head and neck for over two months which led to a hospital stay, multiple visits to neurologists and experimenting with several medications. I was getting so discouraged because no matter what I did, I was not getting any better. Desperate for an answer, my neurologist recommended I try acupuncture. Dr. Shu helped me out during a very difficult time when I was quite sick physically and emotionally and wasn’t sleeping much. New Hope Acupuncture exceeded my expectations. I originally went for lower back and flank pain. After just three sessions, the pain has gone away. I had seen countless doctors prior to the acupuncture, for the back pain, none of whom could determine the cause. I am a radiologist for 25 years. I have always thought majority of pathology can be visualized and medical treatment only rendered if you have symptoms. But Dr. Shu shows me how Eastern medicine can be such wonderful complimemt and adjunct to Western medicine. I seeked her help with my chronic shoulder pain which I have received several steroid injections for. My orthopedic surgeon suggested surgery which I prefer not to go thru at this time. Dr. Shu is a very talented and dedicated acupuncturist. I went to her because I was having a lot of pain and tightness in my calves and feet from chronic PLANTAR FASCIITIS. Also I was dealing with ARTHRITIS in my big toe. I had never tried acupuncture before, and went to New Hope at the start of the year for persistent tendonitis. Dr. Shu is awesome! Very thorough, makes one feel quite at ease. I went to Junting after having an allergic reaction to the contrast dye used for a CT scan I had to have. I was covered in hives and in complete itchy misery. Benadryl wasnt doing much, so I went to Junting for acupuncture and herbs because Id read that acupuncture could help with this kind of thing and I really needed the itching to stop. By the end of the day of the first acupuncture treatment, the itchiness stopped, and within several days, the redness from the hives cleared up completely. It was such a noticeable improvement and I felt SO much better so quickly. Highly recommend Junting for acupuncture. Shes also absolutely lovely and pleasant to be around.

Rachel is a top-grade acupuncturist.Rachel has been my family care Chinese medicine practitioner for quite some time.I had a chronic cough outbreak every Spring for five years. I dont like to take drugs so I asked Rachel for help. After her initial treatment, I stopped the chronic cough for two weeks. Then with her guidance of acupressure points, the chronic cough stopped in that Spring.I used to have a severe aversion to cold. In the Spring of 2022, I caught a severe cold, and Rachel gave me a prescription of herbs. After 10 days, I recovered from the cold completely, and found I was in a better health state: no aversion to cold any more, and I developed a good appetite without gaining weight easily.Recently I had an auricular acupuncture and ear candle treatment in her clinic. I usually tend to feel that there is an area of coldness on my back. However, during the treatment I felt a very peaceful and pure mind, and my whole body was very warm. I originally started seeing Dr. Chu for lower back pain and was amazed at the difference. Honestly I wasn’t sure how much it would help, but really do feel so much better. I then got a bad respiratory infection and my ears were so full of fluid, I honestly had trouble hearing anything. After some Chinese herbs and more acupuncture, I felt better quickly. Wow! Where do I start?! I was suffering with severe migrianes 3-4x a week. I would wake up with a dull headache almost every morning and it would turn into an excruciating migraine by 4 pm. After just a couple sessions I was down to one a week and now most recently made it just shy of 3 weeks without one! My only regret is not finding New Hope sooner. Fangrui is a wonderful acupuncturist, I started to see her because of emotional/mental health issues; and with her assistance I can get through my days with less and less frequent intake of western medication. Also I have lost about 10lb since starting to see her and exercising, as her treatments increased my energy level. She definitely helped me a ton in regards to PMS, no cramping after 1.5 months of weekly treatment. Overall my health has been improved so much thanks to Fangrui! When I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Shu a month ago, I was desperately needing help for my sleeping problem that had bothered me for weeks. Dr. Shu is such fine Chinese medicine professional who asked very detailed questions, explained her treatment plan clearly and started treatment right away: acupuncture plus Chinese medicine. I gained immediate trust in her with her attitude. She is not only very kind, passionate, knowledgeable (I learned a lot from her), but also a thinker. This is my first time ever in my life to do acupuncture. I had a couple of sessions with Dr. Junting. Its really an amazing experience, its not painful at all！and the treatment effects are unbelievable!Originally I had lower back pain, chronic fatigue, and chronic constipation (I have bowel movement 1-2 times a week for years). After the initial treatment with Dr. Junting, I started to have regular bowel movement once a day, I cant believe it! now I have lost around 7 lbs without any extra efforts! After the first treatment, I didnt feel lower back pain recently. And from last week, I only sleep around 6-7 hours a day, but still have an energy of 8/10. I highly recommend Dr.Junting! I went to her practice because of my depression and fibromyalgia (stiffness in the whole body), she is a unique acupuncturist. She is very different from any others Chinese practitioner and Korean practitioner I had before. Her acupuncture technique is wonderful, and she had a unique breathing approach which allows me to release my negative feeling, and build up a better feeling in my mind. My wife and I went to New Hope Acupuncture for fertility support. We tried for 2 years but couldnt get pregnant. Then we also tried IUI and IVF. According to advice from her OB/Gyn practitioner, my wife went to get acupuncture support for the coming IVF. Dr. Junting treated her in the middle of May, at that time, she had severe anxiety, sinus headache and insomnia, after the initial treatment, all these symptoms got better. The IVF was planned two weeks later. She did two times of acupuncture before the IVF. and then later, it turned out that the IVF failed. We felt so frustrated. After talking with Dr. Junting, she told us that my wifes body needed a longer time to regulate and encouraged her to do acupuncture once a week and do the BBT charting in the same time. Then good news came, one month after IVF, my wife got pregnant naturally. She was in her middle 40s, and this is our first one. We felt so grateful for whatever acupuncture has done for us. Dr. Shu is a very skilled and gifted acupuncturist and herbal medicine practitioner.My face has suffered from an annoying skin problem for a long time, with the face being very red, swollen and itchy. I was referred to Dr. Shu by a friend one month ago. After the first treatment, my face felt better, less swollen and itchy. After 4 treatments using both herbal medicine and acupuncture, my face has been doing so much better with no swollen/itchiness/redness. In the meanwhile, my ear pain which had bothered me for quite a long time has reduced a lot, and my lower back pain, bowel movement and urination all improved. I was introduced to an auricular acupuncture and ear candles session in New Hope acupuncture ,The first visit with such apparatus was relaxing. I felt a current of warmth circulating in my body. I slept very well that night. I am often anxious and stressed and this caused me insomnia, When I visited her again, she went through a very detailed interview and let me understand my inner working mechanism much better. She also discussed some underlying problems that I would not even think of by myself. The needles are not painful. She also added breathing techniques during the acupuncture sessions and I could feel the energy flowing in my body. When I closed my eyes in this relaxing atmosphere, I could see rainbow colors. When I first came into acupuncture, I was scared of the needles and was unsure that it would actually work. My problems were neck pain, acne around the face/nose and back pain as well as GI problems. Immediately after the first appointment, i was able to see symptoms of my GI symptoms relieved and actually didn’t know there was something wrong with it until she told me. My acne went from mild to almost none and my back pain and neck pain is completely erased. I have been coming to New Hope Acupuncture for almost 3 months now and I have been so grateful ever since the first visit to have found this place. Working with Dr. Shu has been incredible for me. I have had a hard time with western medicine in the past, which has kept me from receiving help for a lot of things for quite some time. After going through a tough time in my life, I developed, what started as, a small patch of acne in my adulthood. In an effort to clear it up, I went to a dermatologist, which ended up causing the acne to spread from the one patch to my whole face. After working with the dermatologist to clear it up, and seeing it continuously get worse, I gave up and tried remedies on my own with no success. 3 years later, I was still searching for solutions on the internet and acupuncture was a recommended treatment I hadn’t heard of before, so I decided to give it a try. I found New Hope after doing some digging for a good acupuncturist and I have since been so grateful for that Google search. I went to Dr. Shu’s office expecting a disappointing answer to my troubles, and to my surprise she said she could have it cleared up in 6 months. I was shocked. Rachel is a great acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist, I highly recommend her. She helped me overcome my chronic insomnia and hives.After I had my son, I got insomnia very frequently. Melatonin couldnt help, so I had to rely on alcohol to fall and stay asleep. I was very lucky to find Rachel. She gave me some Chinese herbs. On the fifth day of the treatment, I could fall asleep without alcohol, although I woke up at midnight, I could fall back to sleep very soon. Junting is a very knowledgeable and professional acupuncturist. I went to see her for monthly “maintenance” since February, every time after the treatment, I feel much relieved and very refreshed.I had RA on my finger joints and after she did an acupuncture treatment, I felt less stiffness in the morning. Once I had stomach discomfort because of eating bad food, after her treatment, I pushed out lots of gas and felt back to normal.She is also an unusual acupuncturist. She does energy healing together with her acupuncture treatment. She also does Xun (an ancient instrument) and singing bowel healing. Dr. Shu is the best acupuncturist and herbalist I have ever seen.I have visited her clinic for more than 3 months. I have lots of chronic issues including varicose vein, painful legs, chronic fatigue, numbness in my pinky finger, insomnia and prostate problems. After a set of treatments with acupuncture and Chinese herbs, my varicose vein has been so much better, I felt my legs are light and without pain. I can sleep so much better, and my daytime energy is also very good. So far, the numbness in my pinky finger only happens once a week. Urination has also been improved much.Dr. Shu is extremely knowledgable in Chinese medicine, every needle she put has a purpose. Before treatment, I often woke up in the middle of the night, and it took me some time to fall asleep, after her prescription of Chinese herbs, I can sleep through the night. I was referred to Junting Rachel Shu at New Hope AcuCenter in Acton MA. I had a painful, itchy rash over my entire torso that neither my dermatologist or allergiest could identify or successfully treat. After 24 days of pain I was at the end of my tolerance when a friend referred me to Junting. Not only did she see me on her day off but she asked deep, relevant questions and began her regiment of diagnosing and treatment for what could bring me relief. Dr. Shus acupuncture skill is very professional. I had severe neck pain and went to her for help. I cant turn my head to right side, cant look up or back. Dr. Shu gave me acupuncture, and during the acupuncture session, she inserted the needles and asked me to move, and I found I can turn my head to right, look up or back slowly and carefully, and the severe pain was greatly reduced during the session. She used some seed patches later on my hands, and I felt the warmth was going to my neck and shoulder, and I felt so much better even during the session.She is also very knowledgable and tell me whether my Qi is right or not. After the single treatment, my neck pain is good, and she also told me that my Qi returned to be normal, and I dont need to come to see her again and I can just use exercise to keep my good state.I highly recommend her.

I have visited Rachel several times for my neck and shoulder pain. It was through her I was introduced to Gua Sha and cupping. Though Gua Sha was painful , it highly helped reduce my under lying chronic neck pain . She is very well versed in Chinese Herbal medicine and is very knowledgeable about various other alternate therapy treatments which makes her and her treatments very unique . My mother also visited her when she had sprained her leg and was unable to walk and she was up and running in 1 hour after just one acupuncture sitting. Thanks Rachel so much for helping me get out the postherpetic neuralgia. I had shingles in the beginning and didnt get treated successfully and later on, I had severe neurological pain. It is very intense pain, 10/10, with burning and electronic shock pain. I was waken up by the pain every night from 2 to 3 AM, and then I sprayed some pain control medication, and then after one or two hours, I can get some more sleep till 6:30AM or 7AM. Pain killer didnt help the pain much. When I met Rachel, she gave me a prescription of herbs for 5 days. In the next night after taking the herbs, I woke up at 2:50AM, and then sleep until 6:00AM. Its the first time that I saw new hope after getting shingles. After five days, the pain is much relieved. I stopped pain killer. She continued adjusting my formula based on my condition, but according to her, the basics of the formula remained unchanged. I took the herbs for one month, and it was quite good. Then Rachel asked me to take the herbs in a lower dosage and frequency. After around three months, my postherpetic neuralgia healed.She is a great acupuncturist and herbalist. Without her help, I dont know if I can live a normal life with the 10/10 neuralgia pain. I highly recommend her.

Rachel had been helping my autistic child to get better after encephalitis. It had been a long time that my chid has emotional struggles, especially with anger and anxiety. However after encephalitis, everything got worse, he had not been able to sleep through the night and struggled with constant urinary urgency. The biomedicines he had been taking helped a little but he was not emotional stable and at night waking up 5-8 times a night. We met with Rachel and had a in-depth intake and her herbal medicine and acupuncture helped him became much calmer, talkative, better stool and closer to how he was before the encephalitis. His sleep was much better only wakes up 1-2 times a night, and no more urinary urgency. We are able to decrease his psychotic medicines because he was so stable. Junting is a master, very well versed and an absolute pleasure to be patient of. You wont be disappointedI have an affliction called dupoytrens contracture, which can be relieved by surgery or a chemical treatment, in the past I tried the chemical, which worked for a time, but it came back. Rachel is very amazing. I was introduced to Rachel in Jan 2020 when I was suffering a severe cough for more than two months after a pneumonia. Before that, I visited the doctors every two weeks to try different medicine, which didn’t help but cough more and more sever. When visiting Rachel, she helped me gua sha, I will remember forever that, when she was doing guasha on my neck, immediately I feel the clog inside my throat relieved a lot. After that visit, I bought the gua sha tool without hesitation and did it myself, and my cough relived day after day and finally disappeared in a month without any medication. I also had a surgery on my left ear due to cyst, however, after the surgery, I never completely recovered, after some time, I can feel the cyst was growing again, and pain and liquid came back to bother me now and then, usually I used some prescription cream, last year Rachel planned to do acupuncture, unfortunately it was interrupted due to Covid infection after the first treatment, and I can’t find time on weekends later due to my tight schedule, then one day I started to apply moxa on my left ear using eye and nose moxa tool which was bought from Rachel for the purpose to relive eye fatigue, the effects are great, now the pain and liquid came back to me less frequently, and I can hardly feel the cyst bump. After I benefit a lot from guasha, I sometimes helped friends do guasha when they have stiff back and shoulders, and it helps a lot. I would highly recommend Rachel.

I had pain in my left heel for months. Every step I took felt like a sharp pain. Then when I looked up this place I decided to give it a shot. I never had acupuncture treatment before but when the doctor did her treatment I barely felt the needles. She treated my heel, energy levels, apparently I had congestion in my throat and she treated that as well. I can feel a big difference my breathing feels clearer. My left heel after multiple treatments the pain has almost went away and I feel it more mobile. My sleep has gotten better from the treatment aswell, the doctor got me snoring loud in there office 🤣 overall staff is friendly and the doctor really listens to your needs.

A friend of mine recommended Rachel to me when I first got Covid. At the time there was no Paxlovid available yet. She was able to treat me remotely with Chinese herbal medicine. My symptoms have been relatively mild throughout the treatment. I later had some long Covid symptoms (mainly psoriasis) and she was able to treat with acupuncture as well as some other techniques. I have experiences with other acupuncturists. I have not met one who employs so many different techniques. A friend of mine (in Toronto) also has similar but more severe psoriasis and I mentioned my success with Rachel using Chinese medicine and urged him to find a good Chinese medicine doctor. He replied that he actually went to 5 different Chinese medicine doctors, between Toronto and HongKong and no luck. I am really lucky to have Rachel as my doctor.

Rachel opened up the world of Wholistic Medicine through TCM to me. She truly gives her 100% into the treatment that I have never ever seen in any practitioner ever. I cannot express enough gratitude for New Hope Acupuncture and the incredible care I received. After suffering from sudden hearing loss in my right ear due to a combination of ear, sinus, and bronchitis infections, conventional medicine didn’t seem to offer any solutions. I was feeling hopeless and desperate, but a close friend recommended I try acupuncture. Although I had always been curious about acupuncture, I didnt fully understand how it worked, so I decided to give it a try.From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease, despite feeling unwell and exhausted. The doctor took the time to listen to everything I had to say and performed a thorough intake, addressing all of my symptoms. She then began the acupuncture treatment, and although it was a process, each session left me feeling progressively better. After about five or six sessions, I regained full hearing in my ear, my chronic post-nasal drip has significantly improved. I even experienced a profound, meditative state during one of my most recent appointments.
