ART is a horrible facility that should not be entrusted to such a delicate and important process as fertility. If I could give zero stars I would. Cedars-Sinai needs to immediately dissolve their relationship because it results in sub-par patient outcomes for such a reputable institution. I was forced to use ART because I had a Cedars physician. Most importantly, they LOST one of my embryos while I was in the middle of a transfer and blamed it on their equipment. They also mixed up my embryos and had basic maintenance issues such as their workstation lightbulbs being burnt out and needing replacement. I had 5 transfers with ART, with 3+ errors, one loss of embryo and one success. Do not go here! And don’t get fertility treatment at Cedars until they change third parties. The process is costly both financially, emotionally and time spent
I had 8 embryos frozen there. My ex husband and I filled out paperwork to donate them to research years ago. Many years later, I noticed that ART has been charging the annual storage fee for all of these years and has sent them now to collections. I cant get a direct answer about whether my embryos are still being stored and if so, why our paperwork wasnt processed. This is a big deal! The accounts receivable woman is super rude and wont help me understand where things went wrong, shes just threatened to send all these additional years to collections. I keep calling and I cant even leave a voicemail. I dont even know what to do at this point besides get a lawyer.
