Good experience overall. Office is nice and clean. I like that they had tea to brew. Everyone was professional at all times. The doctor was knowledgeable and asked questions. It did not feel friendly or welcoming, but maybe it was busy. however I was pleased with my experience and would recommend this office.

Dr. LISA JUKES & her Gynecology Practice provides exceptional care with genuine attention & concern for my health and well-being. My Provider is Kelli Porter, PA., has treated me for over 10 years. She is an extraordinary Medical Professional, Confident, and the most gentle, kind & genuinely caring person I’ve ever had as my medical provider. I have 100% confidence with Kelly Porter, PA., and I would highly recommend her for gynecology.

Everyone is kind and helpful. I loved Irene, very intelligent and explained thoroughly. I appreciate being made calm at my doctor appointments. Kelly is great too, she has a soft touch with BioTe injections.

If you are looking for a doctor in Austin do NOT pick here. I have never felt uncomfortable at a doctors until here and I originally had been going here for 10 years until it was just too much. They will continuously try and get any money they can get from you rather than prioritize you as a person and your health. My visits are covered by my insurance but one visit I asked about my headaches and they decided to charge me and make me pay since I asked one question about recurring headaches. Also, the doctor (not Jukes but another one at this office) did not help at all. She made me feel stupid for asking and did not offer any help and instead made me pay for it. Please do yourself a favor and find another doctor since they do not care about you here.

I’m new to Texas and was googling few places. Thank you Alyssa for an incredible experience! I got my custom fire and ice facial. My jawline looked so sculpted and skin hydrated. She recommended microneedling with PRP! I’m going to come in monthly to help my acne scars and in with NP Aubrey to do my Dysport.

I will start with that I like Dr Jukes and she is great - which is why they get 2 stars, but otherwise it is not good at all. Both my daughter and myself went for our annual which would be fully covered. BUT they decided to charge my daughter for a full visit extra with the annual because she mentioned some headaches which they did not treat, give any advice for or write any prescriptions for (so, since she has no co-pay, she has to pay full out for it). I had the same thing thing happen to me. Billing is not very helpful or nice about it either. Be careful if you go for an annual and what they charge you after.

This is a great practice! The front desk person Hailey was friendly and very helpful when scheduling future appointments! The NP Irene Huerta was very easy to talk with and provided a wealth of information. I highly recommend this practice for anyone interested in learning more about HRT.

I am hopeful, but the follow up is very poor. Perhaps my appointment was at a very busy time. I have been unable to get my Rx and i was supposed to be referred to a surgeon. Neither of which has happened. I have made multiple phone calls. The staff are very nice, but my problem seems to be mine, not theirs. I’m disappointed. I also did not get to see the doctor, which was unfortunate as I was never told I would be seeing a PA.It got no better. If you don’t have a problem with being treated like a number, then this may be the place for you. I have since made an appointment with another doctor, who has already demonstrated greater professionalism and care for patients and I haven’t even walked in the door. No app to deal with but an actual person.

I love seeing Kelli at Modern Women’s Health. I’ve also been for cosmetic procedures. They are all the best. Very caring and professional. I feel better in my sixties than I have in a long time. Thanks!

I have been going to Modern Womens health for 10 years. I have not had many visits directly with Dr. Jukes. Instead, I normally see one of the nurse practitioners. Most recently, Irene. Irene was very helpful, professional, and patient. She answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed.

Great practice. The nurse practitioners are very knowledgeable about all things menopause, which is why I went there. The office is nice and the staff are cheery and efficient. And they support pug rescue—bonus!

I’ve seen each of the providers, Dr. Lisa Jukes, Kelli Porter, and Ginger Banes (no longer there). Overall, I appreciate the holistic approach to women’s care. Not only do they provide comprehensive gynecological services, but also holistic health care for the modern woman - skin care, nutrition/diet, and aging concerns. Years ago, Dr Jukes performed an impressive surgery on me, a hysterectomy, where she basically robotically took out my uterus through my belly button. Any woman that can do that has my respect. The only reason I don’t give five stars is that their annual paperwork method is antiquated. You receive an email with an attached document that you are supposed to print and fill out. I have sat in that waiting room numerous times observing women coming in that don’t have the paperwork with them, which causes frustration and delays. Most people don’t have printers anymore. With such a sophisticated practice, it’s really time to move to electronic forms for patients.

I would NEVER go here again or recommend to a friend. I guess I was the rare person who had side effects and experienced terrible pain; however my calls were not returned, my side effects were dismissed and the intimate procedure I had (that was supposed to be just a stinging sensation) was the worst pain Ive ever experienced in my life. Honestly Id rather give birth again. As a woman entering perimenopause I was having the usual symptoms of brain fog, lack of energy and diminishing sex drive. I came into try several intimate procedures and get on testosterone pellets. I was told that they had an algorithm for putting the pellets in and trusted that it would be appropriate. After my testosterone pellet insertion I started having terrible side effects. Insomnia, raging, crying, anxiety, a month of breast tenderness, weight gain in my tummy and a non-stop period. I was on a constant roller coaster of emotions. I called in to talk about my side effects and was not called back. When I reached someone they emphatically said that it was not from the testosterone. I had my doctor measure my testosterone and it was off the chart at over 330ng/dL total and over 30ng/dL free (normal for a woman is 15-70ng/dL). I had been taking the DIM supplement but I believe the testosterone was also converting to estrogen (which they told me did not or would not happen). When I had my follow-up appointment I showed them my testosterone results and once again iterated my concerns. They basically said, Whoops, well go lower next time. Nothing we can do now They never went over potential side effects prior to my procedure and when I asked about them I was told there were none. Then during my follow-up it turns out they had forgotten to give me some paperwork. And who knows, they sometimes add estrogen to the pellets, and given their willy-nilly attitude I wouldnt be surprised if that was put in by mistake. I had my doctor call my office and she never received a call back. A week later I came in for an O-Shot. I was nervous and had called in about pre-procedures because I was never given information. During the procedure I asked the person doing the procedure about side effects and was given a very defensive answer that almost made me feel ashamed for having asked. I was told Ive done this for 20 years and never had any problems. I was told the procedure was basically painless and that I would feel some burning. They were supposed to do a nerve block. Im not sure what happened but I dont think my nerve was blocked. It was the worst pain Ive experience in my life. I was in the office shaking, crying in pain, and asking them to get it over. Afterwards I felt shamed for having such a response and felt absolutely no empathy, or had no apology for the pain. Ive given birth twice and Im telling you this was the worst pain Ive ever felt. It was NOT a burning sensation. I feel that this facility is just to churn people in and out. If you have any side effects or concerns, they dont bother to answer your calls and offer no empathy, and honestly I felt gaslighted. I never heard from or saw Dr. Jukes or received any sort of note or empathy about my experience. I had several rounds of procedures left and cancelled them all. I asked for my money back for the remaining procedures and am still waiting. Im sure Ill have to call several times. Anyway, go at your own risk. These are sensitive procedures that one does not go into lightly, so I really hope they work on their empathy, providing pre and post information at the beginning, answering questions about side effects, and calling their patients back. I was excited about this being a women-run clinic, but Im definitely going back to my male gynecologist who actually listened to me.

The PA was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable. She provided me with great information and an awesome level of comfort. Great listener and communicator.Dr. Jukes set my mind at ease. She is wonderful!!

I can’t thank Dr. Jukes enough for her help over the years. From evaluating and removing cysts on short notice to delicate problem visits, she has been wonderful. This practice is very thorough- it does make it difficult to see them as often as they want to see you - especially when you are working- however I appreciate the attention to my overall health. They focus on getting thorough labs done to get a full picture of your situation and I do feel very supported. It has been a while since I had a practitioner address multiple issues and I’m very pleased so far. Irene is a joy to see and she takes very good care of me!

They do a good job working with insurance and telling you what is available to you but they do not spend much time with you. I feel rushed in my appointments, and they do not spend much time educating you on your treatment plan. You just do your research before your appointment and hope you have enough time to get all your questions answered without feeling like you are an inconvenience. I guess it is due to the insurance model they have. A pay out of pocket service would be better, at least that way the doctors take their time with you.

Im sad I didnt know about you sooner! Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Tracy Kwan was my provider. She was a good listener with lots of suggestions. Its so nice to be able to discuss all things menopause and get help. Im telling all my friends about this wonderful practice!

I had an excellent experience with Modern Women’s Health. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They were proactive with prescriptions and took time to understand my issues. It is over an hour drive for me, but 100% worth my time.

I have seen Dr Jukes and one of her PA’s Tracey Kwan (sp?). Both are outstanding and while they each have different approaches in terms of their bedside manner, they are bothe professional and highly competent.Who you like better depends on your pesonality and not on the science or professionalism! Such a wonderful change from other practices! And I will add that I was a little nervous moving from a doctor to a PA- I have not had great experiences with PA’s. Tracey showed me what they are supposed to be like and answers all my questions with science, patience and kindness. Dr Jukes certainly knows how to pick her staff! Front desk is run by Hannah who also goes out of her way for patients who are new or confused about things. Again very professional ! And the longest I’ve waited to be seen in the 4 years I’ve been going? Not more than 5 minutes! Amazing practice Al the way around!

Great experience - was immediately attended to. The process was extremely smooth, even with hand-offs for bloodwork, etc. Candice Dilorio was fantastic and very knowledgeable on my menopause issues. She spent good quality time with me, and I feel like I’m in great hands! I feel blessed to have a total body women’s resource available to help me.

This was my first gyno appt ever. I met with Tracy Kwan and she was the absolute sweetest. She made me feel comfortable and never made me feel shame or embarrassed. The MA’s were also really great and courteous. The phlebotomist was also wonderful. I often have difficulty with drawing blood because of my veins but she did it so easily!Overall, this was one of the most invasive dr appt’s I’ve had, but yet it was the most comfortable and considerate one I’ve ever had.

Dr. Jukes was thorough. She didnt rush through the visit. I felt heard and I felt like I was the most important patient she had to see that day. The office also had an in- house phlebotomist, so I was able to get my blood work done in the same place on the same day. To date, Dr. Jukesis one of the best ob/gyns that Ive had.

I had a great experience with Tracy Kwan. Before my appointment I was wondering if what I was feeling, low energy, brain fog, excessive weight gain, sleep disturbances, night sweats and anxiety were just in my head. I now have a much better feeling about the plan to discover the cause of these symptoms and tackle those causes systematically. I have only had the initial appointment, but I felt heard and understood.

In the last two years, I have noticed that it’s become a high volume business focused on selling ideal protein, botox and other cosmetic surgeries vs. being a practice focused on healthcare.If you are ok to be treated like a number, then go here. I have been a patient for a few years. Initially I did not care for the physicians assistant that I had appointments with, but I did like Dr. Jukes. That person is no longer there now. The PAs have been very nice and helpful since. They have always run on time for appointments also.

I had my well woman annual with Irene H at Modern Women’s Health in Bee Cave. She is smart, down to earth, and listens. I’d go back to her, for sure. The services at this office also include a blood draw, which I find super helpful.

Life is hard enough in Austin to be charged for a visit which never happened. Ive missed two appointments I had scheduled them long ib advance and asked for a reminder message which never came but I got charged. I dont feel that its fair.

I was so frustrated at myself but she thoughtfully & quickly changed my appointment to a telemedicinas visit since it was just a follow up with the nurse practitioner, Irene. Irene was kind, professional and listened & answered my questions patiently. So thankful for their help & flexibility! Happily recommend them!

Everyone is very nice and friendly, and its not a bad location. However, this establishment unfortunately falls into the trap of denying a young womans decision to get tubal litigation or other forms of permanent birth control, solely based on but what if you regret it?. This isnt right, because nobody deserves to make that call aside from the woman seeking it out. It is their risk to take, and their decision to make. The role of the gynecologist here should be to lay out the risks, inform, and advise, not deny based on what ifs. Childfree women should have their decisions trusted and respected. It feels so awful to have someone try to make us wait until were 30 or older when were already certain that we dont want children, as if they have no faith in our feelings or beliefs, and when there are so many unwanted children in need of adoption as is. Ive seen more women regret having children than not having them, which is much worse anyway. Why is that an acceptable risk to take, but permanent birth control isnt?Overall this is a good practice, but if youre looking for a permanent form of birth control and youre on the younger side, this is unfortunately not the place for you. Some helpful people on the internet have made lists of childfree-friendly gynecologists that wont deny you your choice or tell you that you may change your mind, and I would try one of those instead. With the swift erosion of womens rights in this state, we can no longer afford to wait.

Dr. Jukes is exceptional, highly educated, compassionate, and one of the best doctors I’ve ever encountered. Her surgical skills are unparalleled. She’s very thorough with all the testing and diagnostically, brilliant. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience with a horrible practice. Wanted to charge me $50 to call in a preauth for a med they prescribed. Then I was charged a $106 office visit for an annual that is covered at 100% by insurance. This place is a joke and the staff is rude AF.

I love Dr. Porter and Hannah is wonderful running that front desk. I’ve been coming to Lisa Jukes office for seven years. I would recommend them.

I saw Irene Huerta and she was great. ZocDoc did not actually book my service with the office but luckily when I got there they were still able to put me on the schedule (Bee Caves Office). I’ve been coming to Dr. Juke’s office for many years and have seen the PAs mostly. My most recent visit I saw Tracy Kwann - and she was so excellent. I loved her. She was thorough, kind, friendly, asked a lot of great questions and listened well. I’m super happy with my experience there and I hope she stays in Dr. Juke’s office for a very long time. I also had an excellent experience with the office staff they were patient and caring.

PA-Tracy Kwan has just been amazing. I originally tried to get in with Dr. Jukes due to referral but I have been so excited for the privilege to have booked with Tracy. She is extremely knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. You can read just how much she truly cares about her patients. She really looks at each individual person and listens throughly. I’m just so glad to have her advocating for my health.

I was told to get there at 10. I did not get into the room until 11 and then I waited to 1130. By then I was toast. I simply left. But they charge me $200. Not a good experience.

Worst OBGYN experience I’ve had. Irene Huerta kept me waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes. As I called the front desk from the exam room to let them know i was preparing to leave, she finally came through the door. She proceeded to get on her computer and explained she did not have time to look at my file because she was rushing. She was unprofessional and her tone was dismissive and insincere. When I explained to her that I work in the service industry And if I’m going to be running behind, I will give my client a heads up, so they are not inconvenienced, She explained that she could not Interrupt her previous patient… Not only did this make me feel unimportant. As as I was leaving I noticed her nurse was sitting right outside of the exam. I find it Interesting that she would not have knocked on the door to let me know Irene was running behind… I will never go back!

Honestly one of the best doctor’s office visit I’ve ever had. I didn’t wait long, the office was clean, and most importantly, I felt seen and heard.

However, for those seeking a more balanced and patient-focused approach, proceed with caution. My experience with Dr. Jukes, my second opinion after consulting three gynecologists over the past 10 months, was marked by an approach and demeanor that I found to be aggressive, closed-minded, and oddly vindictive.Dr. Jukes appears steadfast in her inclination towards surgery, often overlooking new information, such as changes in diagnostic test results, which should ideally inform medical decisions. Despite contrary recommendations from other reputable doctors, she remained resolute in her insistence on surgical intervention. What further raised concerns for me was the insistence on a battery of tests including genetic testing, MRI, EKG, chest X-ray, and additional blood work, all of which were deemed excessive by other healthcare professionals. When I sought clarification from the surgery center regarding the necessity of these tests, their response was telling: Not normal for other doctors, but normal for Dr. Jukes.Potential patients should be aware of Dr. Jukes unwavering commitment to surgery, often at the expense of exploring less invasive or alternative treatments. Her approach may not align with the consensus among other medical professionals, and the extensive testing she recommends may be considered overkill by industry standards.Furthermore, when notified of changing practices, Dr. Jukes terminated my access to medical records via the portal abruptly. This unprofessional and immature response further underscored my reservations about her patient-centered approach.

Highly recommend Dr. Jukes and the entire team. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable with any issue or routine check I go in for.Hands down, the best team around. 🙌

Dr Jukes is great, thats why they get even 1 star. Getting in to see her is almost impossible. Her PAs are less than skilled. Every word that comes out of Tracy Kwans mouth is exaggerated to the extreme and always inaccurate. Im not sure if she is just that inexperienced or she shoots for the extreme measures to collect on insurance. But, her inexperience causes unnecessary scares from incorrect diagnoses and has created medical issues for me as well. For example, she wouldnt refill my prescription and demanded I make an appointment even though I was out of my med. This then caused me to get an infection. When I went in for the check up, she asked me multiple times if I wanted an STD test alluding to my issue being caused by an std. She was SO rude yet totally clueless. She then recommended I get a biopsy. Like WHAT??? Thank goodness that at least got me an expedited appointment with Dr Jukes who figured out within a minute that it was an infection caused by not having my medicine (which Kwan wouldnt refill!!!) I could go on and on with other examples of Kwans incompetence. This place is disappointing and frustrating!!!

Dr Jukes and Kelly Porter are always so attentive to their patients needs, compassionate and caring. Their staff are very helpful and friendly and their offices are always clean and neat.

Dr. Jukes was incredibly cold verging on almost hateful, some of the worst bedside I have ever experienced. She gaslit me about my symptoms, she also completely misdiagnosed me. I would not recommend any woman to her care.

Update: From 4 stars to 5 because one tweak and more time has made a huge difference in my results! I went with a 4th Mona-Lisa treatment (which is recommended as an annual maintenance treatment) + a formulated BioTe HRT quarterly injection and Ive seen the improvement I was looking for (greatly reduced pain during intercourse, increased libido, night sweats - gone, and better sleep). Trust the experts!I really like Dr. Bane. She’s a good communicator and shoots things at you straight, while taking a conservative approach. However, I’m not super satisfied with the Mona-Lisa treatment which was just shy of ‘guaranteed to work’, even for clients who have have pelvic radiation. It’s close to $3k, so if I could take it back, I would have preferred to spend the money elsewhere. Check-in procedures are always efficient - never have had a long wait.*Review500*

Going to the Gyno is always a task that must be done, but I never look forward to it. The minute I walk through the door until I leave it is always a calming experience. The staff are all very professional, efficient, kind, and try to make the quick visit as beneficial as possible. I love that. ❤️

I wanted to see Dr. Jukes in lieu of going to the ER for intermittent pain, although she was kind enough to see me in the clinic, she was unwilling to cover my pain until my upcoming scheduled ultrasound test and would not prescribe me any pain medication, suggesting that I go to the ER if needed. That was exactly what I was trying to avoid. I do not feel supported as a patient, and felt passed off.

I was only supposed to be there to have a conversation about some lab results and was told the appointment would not run long. Almost two hours later I was finally leaving after waiting about 30 minutes just to be taken back to one of the rooms and then another 45 minutes for the doctor to come in and talk to me. It took me having to walk out of the room for them to finally say “Oh we’re coming in now”. Beyond ridiculous.

Dr Jukes has been my doctor for a year and a half and she is outstanding. It took four months to get in for my initial visit but worth the wait. I am 65 and she has been treating a few post menopausal issues. She has solved those problems with topical ointments. In addition, she has taken an interest in my low thyroid that has been hard to regulate. She is professional, organized and knowledgeable. She communicates well. During my last visit my husband, who is a retired surgeon, came along to ask a few general questions about the medical community in Austin as we have only lived here two years and are still finding our way for medical care. He was totally impressed. Dr Jukes is the only provider I have seen at this office as I am not interested in their other offerings. The front office is top notch as well. In the course of my 43 year marriage I have been around all types of doctors. You are in good hands with Dr Jukes. She is a very busy doctor. The good ones usually are.

Wow I am so impressed with Tracy Kwan! She was so kind, personable, gentle, knowledgeable; loved that she wanted to follow up with me to ensure her initial prescription worked! Also she provided suggestions ; was patient and explained what was going on. She is just awesome!!!

I have been a patient for two years for Biote. I have had two annuals and have yet to ever meet Dr Jukes. There is one N.P. In particular that’s rushed through the visit which makes it difficult to educate oneself on the treatment changes or options. Previous P.A. took more time but unfortunately she didn’t last very long at this clinic. This practice appears to have high staff turnover. :-(

Im very troubled by their lack of communication on test results. Theyre not flexible enough to offer virtual visits to go over labs and next steps. Nor do they communicate with you when they refer you to a specialist.They have extremely long wait times when you call in (over 30 minutes) and its almost impossible to get an appointment with the doctor (unless theres something really serious).

Check in was smooth, staff was so friendly, my PA Kwan was so nice really took the time to talk and go over my paperwork and exam. Made getting my annual checkup so much easier. Would highly recommend this center..

Great experience with the overall staff. The only problem is the lady that drew my lab this morning. She started by complaining about me fasting despite the fact that I explained to her I needed to fast for my exams. Then she draw my labs and was pressing down on my arm. I offered to hold the bandaid for her to grab a tape she was reaching for, she got mad at me for holding a bandaid on my own skin and refused to give me a give me the tape.

I was a patient here for over 7 years. Other than my favorite provider there (&her replacement), the office basically treated me like a dollar sign. I think they force their providers to push unnecessary procedures in order to make extra money. On numerous occasions if I moved an appointment, approx 6-7 months later I would receive a bill for a “no show” fee. I received one ill 3 times in the course of a week & a half. Not once did their billing department (in their office) correct this, until I physically went in to speak to them about it. It felt like they were just hoping I (along with anyone else who receives these invoices) will just pay with no questions. Seems like a major money grab that is quite unethical. When my favorite provider left, I stayed for a few months but decided to leave, my provider was the only I reason I stayed the length of time I did. On numerous visits, Lisa Jukes would be in the office, and she never so much as smiled at me. Every time I had my yearly pap or mammogram, the office (Not my provider) would call and suggest a colposcopy or a 2nd mammogram (due to dense tissue) and make it seem as though I could not get my prescription refills or hormone therapy if I did not follow through on those procedures- the office I now visit, has not suggested either, when I asked about it, they reviewed my files from Lisa Jukes and my current pap & mammogram and said there was no reason for that. It was obviously a money grab by Lisa Jukes, similar to the “no show” billing.On the rare occasion I would see another provider in their office, they always wanted to biopsy something. Which inevitably turned out to be nothing like I suspected & voiced during my visit.I will say, my favorite provider that left Lisa Jukes office, also did not try to force the extra procedures on me & was perfectly ok with me skipping those items.It bothers me that a female owned business treats their female patients this way.

Not up to date on HRT for women over 60, but were concerned about addressing my issues

Irene was compassionate, took time with me, very well informed and thorough. She followed up with me by phone in the early evening following my appointment. This is a wonderful clinic because of the great staff.

I felt I was in a constant state of a sales pitch. They wanted me to get another set of tests that were done the year before saying what I had done wasnt recent enough. Insurance only pays for these exams 1 time a year.

I see Kelly Porter, PA. She listens to my concerns and gives useful feedback. Honestly she was the person who insisted I get more detailed breast studies that revealed I had breast cancer, so I was able to get treatment while the cancer was still just early stage. I’m sticking with her! And Dr. Jukes did a very successful robotic surgery on me four years ago. I went home the same day. The office is very efficient and the staff are friendly, supportive and responsive to requests. I love that they offer a wide array of services here, not just the usual Pap smears and pelvic exams.

Met with PA Ginger today and had such a wonderful visit. She is very knowledgeable and asked questions about how I was feeling. Shes a good listener and made sure all my questions were answered. The front desk ladies were wonderful and accommodating. The office is very clean and orderly. The phlebotomy lady was also great. I was looking for a new gyno since Ive.just moved to the area and Ive found the office. I didnt meet Dr Jukes, but l love everyone in her office.

The entire office is efficient and friendly and I always feel genuinely cared for. I’ve never felt rushed through an appointment, and I have the doctor’s undivided attention. Her nurse Ofelia makes me feel like we’re friends and I’m important, not just another voicemail to return. I moved further away and my house is so far from them but I will not go anywhere else. I trust every single person in this practice, and Dr. Jukes herself is the best doctor I’ve ever worked with in terms of listening, responding, explaining options and being supportive.

This review is a long time coming but I wanted to give a little time between my experience and giving a review. Theres too much to write, but in general Modern Womens Health is the last thing this practice is about. My overall experience with them was actually devastating in many ways - they have a cookie cutter approach (all about the pellet) and as a result (among other things), my health and overall condition was worse when I left than when I started. My hair fell out and I was summarily dismissed with lack of concern. (and it still hasnt recovered). Ive seen 2 doctors since then and they said that the primary reason for hair loss was due to elevated levels of testosterone - which Jukes office did not check before each insertion. Incidentally, most of the time I had to be the one to request/insist on bloodwork. I also had additional issues as a result of this and other poor communication/advice and Dr. Jukes wanted to do a hysterectomy and the doctors Ive seen since then have said that is wholly unnecessary. Ive heard since that this is pretty standard protocol for her. Had I listened to her, who knows what would have happened. Additionally, they were unorganized, rude, canceled appointments, then when I was 1 minute late, they said they couldnt see me. I spoke with the office manager when I was so upset and not once did anyone take any accountability or responsibility for ANYTHING. It was consistent blame shifting and excuses. The entire office is covered in posters and information about fillers, weight loss systems, etc....they do not advocate for womens health in my experience, but are most interested in making money via cosmetic procedures and unnecessary visits and procedures. And Im still dealing with the fall out 6 months later. In short, Austin has too many good doctors and this should not be acceptable. This is a consistent theme through MANY reviews - I wish I had read them prior to beginning treatment with them.

This was a big miss for the office. They were 30 min behind schedule, had a waiting room full of people, and the nurses were just sitting in their office. No communication as to what was going on and when you asked they were rude.

Dr Jukes preformed a successful hysterectomy with no complications. She and the staff were very attentive to my needs and concerns and answered all my questions.

Really knowledgeable doctor. She absolutely knows what she is doing and is great. The reason I give a rating of 3 stars is because this office is incredibly monetarily driven. Lots of products being sold, not everything actually needs to be an appointment, etc. Also, while Jukes is incredibly knowledgeable, shes a bit too rough when examining your tender area.

I’ve been going to this clinic for almost 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and helpful and Dr. Jukes is wonderful. She is one of those rare professionals who takes the time to listen and troubleshoot with her patients and even takes into consideration the issues they have that are not her expertise, in case they might all be connected issues. The only reason I give a 4 star review is that they are extremely busy almost seeming to be understaffed and when I call the office I’m on hold for a very long time and often have to hang up. I’ve also waited well past my appointment time for Dr. Jukes to come into the exam room. The alternative is to see her nurse, Ginger, which I did for a while, but I much prefer Dr. Jukes because I often go in with questions that I need her to answer. Overall, I highly recommend this office. The atmosphere and the staff are amazing and make you feel comfortable and at home.

This was the worst experience Ive had ever. They do not know anything about African American skin. I had a procedure done it required 3 treatments. Cost1,500. After the first I noticed it wasnt going to work and made my eyes worse. I called and asked if I could cancel the service and get a refund for the remaining two treatments left. I was told refunds arent given. So I was forced to do the treatment or waste my money. Dont go here if you ate black!!!!!

Absolutely bad experience. First time visiting and called and scheduled a BIOPSY because of abnormal pap result I had recently received. I was given the wrong paperwork to fill out when first arrived so had to fill out MORE paperwork only to run into my appointment time (after arriving 30 mins early) then I’m told I can’t be seen by the doctor (once already in the room) until I can pull up my lab results so I won’t be charged for a regular visit keeping in mind the front office didn’t do their job letting me know I needed that pulled up. Once I provided lab results the doctor came in and was very rushy and discussed everything I had already known. Did not perform anything. Was charged almost $200 for a “consult” in which I was told I was scheduled a biopsy. This office is rude, unprepared and poorly structured giving false information. Won’t be back again

I saw Kelli Porter, NP a few times. I thought the first visit she was just having an off day. Come to find out her bedside manner is consistently subpar, at best. My most recent visit was a few months back - she had her assistant give me 2 questionnaires. When I finished them she walked in the room, she didn’t sit down, didn’t make eye contact even once and typed on her computer the entire time. She immediately dismissed my concerns bc of the score on one of the questionnaires. I requested further testing to be sure which she only agreed to to appease me. I was crying from frustration when I left and the receptionist asked if I wanted to be contacted by an office manager. At the time I said no but then called back to speak with someone but no one ever returned my call. Kelli Porter is the worst healthcare provider I’ve ever seen and her patient care is appalling and indefensible.

I had the BEST experience ever with NP Ginger Bane! As nervous as I was in a new clinic I felt nothing but warmth and welcoming from Ginger! Vendors doing business with this office BEWARE. We provided catering service to this office twice in 2022 and have never been paid. Between the two invoices we have notified their office manager, Kelly Zimbelman, 10 times and have not received even a response to our emails. Have called the office multiple times trying to collect payment and Kelly has never taken or returned our calls. Extremely unprofessional. This has eaten up an enormous amount of my time that as a small business owner, I cannot spare. Based on their customer reviews, I can only assume this is a very poorly run office and should be avoided.

I went in for an annual as a new patient and I am glad to say I will never return. The front desk was unprofessional and chaotic. The MA that took me back to the room and asked if I have ever received HPV vaccine, and when I explained no and why I didnt want one (I am not anti-vax, I have other reasons for this one) she told me why I should get it and prescribed it anyway.The exam went fine overall but they placed me on UTI medication due to blood in my urine. after a week and a half of taking the medication they called me, and told me that I actually didnt have a UTI, and that I needed to see a specialist.The Urologist I saw was shocked they even sent me there because the amount of blood was so small, and she said that I had a yeast infection because of the unnecessary UTI medication. The urologist told me she would never recommend anyone to that clinic again.This clinic is a mess and likes to place patients on medication for things they arent even sick with. There are so many better OBs than this one.

I was referred to Dr. Jukes by a friend and I am so glad I made the switch. I have been to her practice several times and it has always been a great experience. You can tell it is a private practice, not a corporate owned office. I had a Da Vinci procedure done by Dr. Jukes and it really makes you feel good when the nurses at St Davis reassure you that you are in the best hands! My recovery was super easy. I highly recommend her.

Every experience i have had here has been a disaster. my most recent visit i arrived early and signed in, only to sit there for a half hour and them realize they never checked me in on their system and never gave me paperwork. i was rushed through paper work and unable to even give a urine test. i had my annual visit and went to checkout- when checking out i was charged a large amount only to later find out it was for a visit a year ago that they never even sent me a bill for. i called and emailed in multiple times to get clarification and speak to a manager about my experience, and was never able to get through. My first visit i booked online as a visit with dr. jukes- i saw another doctor who did not have great bedside manner. my visit felt rushed and rude. i then came back in for blood work where after 8 attempts, the nurse was unable to complete the blood work. the girls in the office explained that things are this way because of high turnover, new staff, and back ups from covid (at some point covid can’t be your excuse). i have never experienced such treatment, lack of professionalism, and disregard at a medical office. i still have yet to get in touch with a manager, only rudely talked down to by a billing department employee. save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. my advice to them- focus on either being a gynecology office or a medical spa.

Being a travel registered nurse with 7 years of bedside experience in various settings and states, I would like to think that I have some understanding of what it means to deliver safe and competent care. That being said, I can not emphasize enough how quickly you should RUN from this office as quickly as you can. In the 3 short months I have worked with this office, they have:1) Mistook me as another patient over the phone and falsely told me that I was in early menopause at 27 years old. After I asked them to elaborate, the woman who gave me the information said that her job was “simply to relay the information, not to explain it”. After 2 1/2 hours of sheer panic, I finally got a call back to find out that I had been given another person‘s information! I barely received an apology for the 3 hours of my life that I lost crying over the potential that I was infertile and suffering from a newly diagnosed chronic condition.2) Miscoded genetic blood work that I had drawn while billing my insurance. I was told by the NP before having this lab work drawn that I would not be charged and my insurance would be able to cover the lab work as my demographics qualified my lab work as “preventative“ care. I have been trying to get ahold of the billing coordinator for three weeks to work this issue out along with other insurance issues and she has not only ignored my voicemail but instead continues to forward her work over to the young receptionist who, while kind, does not have the understanding to help me with fraudulent insurance information. I now owe over 5000$ in lab work that I cannot sort out because their insurance coordinator will not communicate with me or my insurance company.3) The one procedure that I had performed there was my very first IUD placement. It was extremely painful, performed insensitively without clear communication and left me in tears. The nurse practitioner’s response was “well, didn’t you take a Tylenol first”, which I had but still felt immense discomfort. As other reviews have mentioned on this forum, their bedside manner was cold, disconnected, and careless. They gave me a glass of water and shut the door without another word.I NEVER leave reviews but it is important to me that this practice doesn’t get away with this with anyone else. DO NOT LET THE FANCY OFFICE OR NAME FOOL YOU. I would go to a community health center for my gynecological needs before I would ever step foot in this joke of a practice ever again. Google needs to consider making 0 stars an option for places like this.

I’m so glad my dear friend Aubrey Houchin works here because while I would have visited her ANYWHERE for esthetics, Botox, filler etc, this office is amazing and I booked all of my woman’s wellness appts as well. My Nurse Practitioner, Kelli Porter, did full blown hormone panel and results were discussed at length with fabulous solutions presented. Love this office and staff! Forever a client/patient here moving forward and I’ve likely already told all my area friends as well ❤️

I absolutely love coming to this practice. It is always clean and they have everything set up to make you feel comfortable and safe during your visit. Aubrey is amazing and very knowledgeable and you always feel great leaving.

My experience with both Dr Jukes and her NP - Ginger Bane - has been absolutely wonderful. They both take time to listen, are empathetic, professional, and competent. My positive experience with the phlebotomists is particularly worthy of mention as well, because of difficulties I have had with them in other doctors offices. The wait time in the front office is close to zero minutes. The place is welcoming. What more can one ask for?

I have nothing but good things to say! The staff were very polite! There was a little miscommunication and they took responsibility and made what could have been a bad experience, good! I was given a starbucks gift card and accommodated with a later appointment. Ginger is super sweet. Dr. Jukes is amazing! What took my doctor hours and several tries, she completed in under 20 minutes! She is a pro! I highly recommed her ladies if youre looking to get an IUD! Also, the office is so clean its like being in a spa! Im so happy I was referred to Dr. Jules!

Recently switched to Dr. Jukes because hadnt felt other doctors were vested in my care. I didnt feel rushed from the moment I showed foe my appointment. Each person I met took the time to listen to me and make sure we were on the same page. I got prompt calls with results; again all questions were answered to my satisfaction. Very happy that a friend recommended her to me.

By far the best gynecologist I’ve ever had. Dr Jukes was able to diagnose me quickly and she was very thorough. Will definitely recommend her to every woman I know. She legitimately cares about women and their needs.

I just finished a series of Evoke skin tightening with Aubrey and I’m so happy with the results!! It was an easy non evasive thirty minute session once a week for six weeks with Aubrey. She is fantastic and I plan on seeing Aubrey for my future aesthetic care. I highly recommend her and Dr. Jukes facility. They truly focus on women’s total wellness.

I’m new to this clinic last year after a recommendation from a current patient. I have been very happy with how thorough and involved the doctors and staff are here. I’ve received better care here than I have in quite awhile and due to the diligence of Dr jukes an unknown problem has been discovered that could have gone unnoticed for years with my other dr. The staff is always so nice and concern is shown for patients.

Lisa Jukes claims she is an expert w gynecological conditions but refused to believe and effectively treat my endometriosis & PCOS. DO NOT go here if you have any serious/concerning symptoms and especially disease because her and her team are unable to treat you. She claimed I could not have bowel endometriosis even though I was already diagnosed from a previous surgeon. After 5 years of her brushing me off I sought a real expert and he found stage 3 extra pelvic (bowel, bladder, and kidneys included) deep infiltrating endometriosis. She insisted to put me into chemical menopause at 19 instead of electing for the golden standard treatment of endometriosis (laproscopic excision surgery). Kelli Porter also made jokes about my pain and how my bowel was stuck to my uterus and ovaries after they dismissed and mistreated said pain and symptoms for 5 years.The medicine she was pushing on to me for the years as a patient (lupron and orilissa) have studies showing that they have detrimental long term impacts on health.If you believe you have endometriosis or adenomyosis please look to Dr. Devin Garcia in Austin and join Nancys Nook on Facebook to get more information and to avoid medical mistreatment like the kind I got under Lisa Jukes.

Whether I go to Westlake or Lakeway, the office gets me in-and-out, quickly. Ginger Baine is helpful and performed my procedure well. She was informative and knowledgeable about the issue. Her assistant, Megan, is super friendly and makes me feel at-ease. Baileigh, in the front office in Lakeway, is gregarious and professional. The Westlake office is busier but they’ve always checked me out quickly. I love all of the products and services they offer, which are mostly for women. It’s like a one-stop shop. I’d highly recommend this group of professionals to take care of your Gyno needs.

Unhappy with my previous OB/GYN, I moved my care to Dr. Lisa Jukes office over a year ago. As a fit, healthy, almost 50 year old, Dr. Jukes office has met my needs and exceeded my expectations in many ways. Nurse Practitioner, Kelli Porter, has helped me find solutions to the middle age fog I feel. Ive been seeing Aubrey for a few years for facial and skin care. I absolutely adore and trust her to keep me looking young, but not too young!

My first visit to a nee GYN in over 20 years. My appointment was better than expected and the time Dr. Jukes took to get to know my medical history is almost impossible to find any more. I could not be more pleased.

I have been a patient of Dr Jukes for over 10 years and trust her completely. She is a no nonsense and gives you exactly the care that you need. She has worked with me for the last 5 years on some challenging womens issues and I have always felt heard and that I was given the right care and advice. I am not an easy patient because I have a ton of questions and she is always patient with me and lets me know what I should and shouldnt be concerned about. I have so many questions that sometimes I forget all of them when Im at my appt and need to call back to ask them. When I call the nursing staff they are responsive and get me the answers I need. I can understand how some of the women who commented on these reviews may have felt like Dr Jukes wasnt listening but she is always listening.

I do not recommend this practice for anyone looking for compassionate nor state of the art care. Cold and detached interaction starting with reception best describes my experience. I do not believe there’s a talented nor specialized medical practitioner in this company that justifies or out weighs the inept patient management care.

All staff are pleasant and solicitous. Kelli Porter is seeing me through some procedures and truly helps me feel relaxed and comfortable! I receive thorough information and answers from her and all staff when I make inquiries. Love these women!

If you’re considering getting an IUD or coming to this office as a new patient please read:I’ve been going here for a couple of years. When I moved to Austin, I had to get a new gynecologist here for annual checkups and to get prescribed more birth control. My visits are usually quick pap smears and to renew my pill prescription. I’ve always felt uncomfortable during my appointments but I thought “who doesn’t feel comfortable completely naked on a cold table with a stranger touching your body?”After reading tons of other negative reviews, I realize the bedside manner of the nurses and doctors here is truly horrible. I also feel that I’m not being educated thoroughly whenever I ask questions. My doctor seems to be annoyed whenever I ask questions. Not sure if they’re always in a rush or what it is but I feel sass and I really wish that wasn’t the case. It’s been a week since my insertion and I’ve been having some negative symptoms. When I called to speak to someone about it, they were uneducated and kept speaking in circles. I couldn’t get a direct answer from them and it made me feel like no one in that office knows what they’re doing. Why should I trust these people with my long term health and body? It would be nice to feel like I’m in kind, empathic hands whenever I’m in such a vulnerable situation.I recently decided to get off birth control pills and switch to an IUD. My doctor recommended Kyleena. She gave me the pamphlet, I did tons of research online and decided to give it a go. I scheduled my insertion appointment. All I was told was that it was probably going to be uncomfortable and to take some Advil beforehand. The insertion was traumatic and the pain I felt was inhumane. I have a very high pain tolerance but the pain I felt was unlike anything I’ve experienced. I am young and have never given birth so that may be part of it but I really wish I had been warned or told that it was going to be painful. I immediately screamed and burst into tears. Afterwards, they put some peppermint oil on my stomach to ease the pain. I’m not sure why they didn’t do that first? Thankfully my partner was with me and was able to make sure I was okay. I cried for a while and stayed lying down. Eventually I got up to go check out and go home. I could barely walk from the pain and I definitely would not have been able to drive home. There was so much pain involved in the entire process and I just wish someone had warned me about this being a possibility. It felt like someone shoved their fist into my uterus and squeezed my insides as tight as possible. I’m sharing in hopes that this can help someone about to go through this!If you’re considering getting an IUD: go to a doctor you know will be gentle with you and will make you feel comfortable.Make sure you have food in your stomach beforehand. You don’t want to pass out or vomit from the pain.Take someone with you to hold your hand and drive you home. Take pain killers before hand!!! Take the strongest pain killer you’re willing to take. I took 3 Advil’s an hour before and they did absolutely nothing. And lastly, put peppermint oil on your belly before hand to numb the area.

I love everything about this practice and look forward to every visit! Seeing Aubrey is like a warm blanket. I just know I’m in the best hands. Because of her charm, knowledge and skill, you’ll leave feeling like a million bucks. Highly, highly recommend!
