Bakersfield Pregnancy Center

I signed up for their class and was told to show exactly at that time. I missed my breakfast for this. When i show up turns out they didnt sign me up for that day when I stayed after the last class and signed up for the week prior. They told me class starts in 30min and then i find out in the middle of me waiting that it doesnt start for another hour. Is this how this charity/christian church is run? Starving pregnant women and being incompetent??

This place is not one I would recommend my experience was awful. My husband and I went in and they were acting weird with us. I’m not wanting to believe it is because we are an interracial couple but it felt like that. I had to beg for the ultra sound even though that’s what the appointment was for. Really weird, plus the nurse push the ultrasound tool on my stomach really hard. Then the invasive ultrasound gave me a UTI because it was very dirty and my husband wasn’t allowed back until the last three minutes of the ultrasound so I had to endure everything on my own. This place is not suitable for pregnant women especially the unsanitary equipment

Ignore all the bad reviews, and even if you are pro choice or not Christian, this place is really wonderful, very helpful, and YES they are Christian driven, but that shouldnt stop you from going here, they understand all aspects and there is doctors here and nurses. They tell you to go to a doctor to get medical advice and make it clear that they are only there for support and help, and options, not medical opinions. They do not judge you at all if you have had an abortion and they will help you if you are a single parent or someone seeking adoption. They are loving and understanding, the classes are amazing, and the support they have for the dads is wonderful. I actually have gotten more support and care from THIS place then my doctor who just shoos me out the door after every quick exam without getting me information. They have a doctor avaliable to confirm the ultrasound and date, the nurses are very educated and very helpful. They can provide you prenatal vitamins, classes, baby items, diapers, anything you need till your baby is 4 months. Keep doing what you guys are doing you guys are AWESOME!!

Great place if you’re needing assistance for mothers in need. Also faith based.

Its been several things already. One of the things was when I was put down for their baby shower, they told me I could bring my husband & the next day I called them to confirm since they never send confirmation text, and they told me I cant bring my husband cause of lack of seats but when I got to the baby shower there were so many free seats open and some people even brought their mom and their baby, where I was told no one could go except the spouse. Whats that all about?The goal of this place is nice but its been several times where I wouldnt get a text for confirmation of my appointment so Id end up calling only to find out they wouldnt have my name down, just today I called cause I never got a text and assumed the class was at a certain time, already on my way, I called to ask and was told if youre not here in 5 minutes you cant do the class. So I guess Im not going, Im due in August so Ill try to see if theres another place that can help me out with classes.

Once you step foot in this office, safety and peacefulness are #1. I was a scared 16 year old walking into a random office at the time for me. Those beautiful sweet ladies showed me empowerment and love. Thanks to them I have a beautiful life with my twin daughters! They’re more than just a office, they’re family and once you witness the love from each or any of them , there’s no going back! God puts this pregnancy center in our way for a reason! I couldn’t be more grateful for all the love and support I’ve received since my very first appointment ❤️

Great service, staff was very friendly, helpful & Supportive! They also offer great programs/Classes for mommies to be, I will definitely be attending some classes First time Mommie so Im very excited to learn more about my pregnancy ♥️ would definitely recommend this center!

This place is the absolute worst. If there is anywhere else you can go, then go. We arrived 20 minutes early. 45 minutes later, so 25 minutes after the appointment time, they finally call her name. However, it wasnt to go back, it was to fill out and sign some paper work. Apparently they couldnt have us do that during the 45 minutes we were there. Oh and for dads, just so you know, your not part of this pregnancy to them. Only the mom is allowed back. Once the ultrasound is in progress and they have pictures and everything, then they will allow you back there for a little bit to show you what they can see then tell you to go back out to the waiting room.

After a horrible experience with Planned Parenthood rejecting someone I know for having a service dog, we were quite thrilled that Bakersfield Pregnancy Center not only was supportive and understanding, they also served her much quicker and were much nicer in general. Thank you!P.S. Just a note to the person who was upset that they dont do abortions... it is very clear on their website, This center does not offer or refer for pregnancy terminations or birth control. I do not believe they deserve that 1-star review for you not researching first or your disagreement with their right-to-life stance.

So I went here to get my pregnancy verification for my second pregnancy and this time I had an awful experience. So first of all they’re nice and all but not accurate at all. I had to get a pregnancy verification somewhere else because they said I was getting a negative pregnancy test. They said that their pregnancy test was showing negative and of course I didn’t believe it because I got numerous amount of positive pregnancy test from different brands and all THE NIGHT BEFORE. The nurse was making me feel crazy as if it was all in my head. She also said there was no such thing as a “chemical pregnancy”. I felt as if there is so much ignorance coming from her. Just to confirm to everyone I did en up being pregnant their so called “accurate medical urine pregnancy test” was not so accurate. I’m really disappointed with them because I did have a great experience with the last nurse from my last pregnancy.

I went there for my prenatal vitamins and they gifted me help with clothing for myself and I cant wait to attend the classes. is it okay if its just myself only going in to these classes or do I need a partner ( if so would be muly twin bc the father is not in the childs life)?

It is a nice place, you get help and support. And later one they check on you once or twice but not bothering you with calls. Im happy we were here.

Very Respectful and Friendly Staff... Fast Service, the staff are well trained and connects with you. Christan Base but I felt comfortable with them.

Called for information and the love and attention everyone gives is incredible. There is such hope in giving your baby a future.
