NextCare Urgent Care Chandler

Immaculately clean facilities, friendly staff, and short wait.Of course urgent care visits arent typically the most comfortable or pleasant, simply due to the nature of it being urgent + somewhat of a medical emergency related event. However, the staff and the clean facilities make the experience as pleasant as possible. The convenient location and hours also make this a great urgent care. Well be back for any future urgent care needs.

It has been years since I have been this sick. I wasn’t this ill with COVID! I recommend Urgent Care on Ocotillo & Alma School. It’s been years since I have been there but the staff is still spot on. Caring and very friendly starting at the desk when I 1st walked in. I didn’t get her name but she was very kind and caring. Bryan took my vitals, very caring and personable! Melissa my nurse was also pleasant and concerned. Very quick in and out with scripts immediately sent! Not that I wish any of you sick but if you are, I recommend highly.~~ In good health~

Above & Beyond!I had an eye infection that wasn’t going away - not pink eye. Amazing feature-Google tells you the #of people in front of you, so I knew my wait before I even left the house!! Check in was Awesome! I scanned a code and filled out all the paperwork on my phone!Dr. Melissa was great-she took her time with me to understand the issue, gave prescription and further advice on a Saturday morning! Later she followed up with me to provide an additional eye drop.)  My nurse was also fabulous ( I forget his name) made me very comfortable collecting my information & handling basics (blood pressure, etc.)Overall, my experience was a 10!

This is by far, hands down, the best experience I’ve ever had with any Urgent Care. Especially because this was a walk in visit. The whole Staff was amazing and extremely caring. Salina & Corie Kelly took great care of me. They were extremely kind, knowledgeable and nurturing! They dressed my wounds perfectly and educated me in the process! I will be recommending them to everyone from now on.

I was seen quickly . The front office staff was super sweet and friendly. They make sure for get you in and out while still listening ,testing and being efficient. I am happy i didn’t spend two or three hours inside of an urgent care like I have multiple times at the one on Alma school and Germann.

First time visiting. Office is very comfortable, staff is very courteous and efficient, and Sarah Snyder (NP) did a great job of examining, explaining the plan for my care, and making sure I understood the next steps and what to watch out for. Great experience start to finish. Able to watch my position in line from my phone in the car & once I was checked in, super swift process-triage, placed in a room, seen by PA, xray, results, checked out. No more than 3 mins wait time between each. Clean room and friendly, proficient, very competent providers.

Great service at this location. The clinic was well organized, very clean and well equipped. The medical staff was excellent, and handled my son’s needs quickly and compassionately. Happy to have found a Next Care close to our new home.

First of all, I’ve been a RN since 1996, and very familiar with my body.  I’ve been running fever for 6 eves straight between 99.7 - 102.   The first few nights were incredibly “intolerable!”   My bones severely achy, and I “could not sleep.”The next few days  I had 2 COVID test which were negative.  Took flu vaccine Nov 10,  2023.  No symptoms of UTI.. no coughing, very little green dischargeFrom nose.Decided to go to Urgent Care Ocotillo where I successfully  received excellent care “IN THE PAST”  from a Debra Ellsworth FNP and her assistant a young blond male on Jan /22/2023 @ 12:42 PMAlso, great care from a Leslie Giles FNP on 10/21/2020.  Both practitioners agreed to give me a shot with a z-pack or Medrol pack..Tonight, the young receptionist (like all before her, super sweet, wait time very little.  But when I got in to see the newest provider “Noriko Roberson FNP” on Jan 17 2024,  I had been running 102 fever all day and have pictures on my phone to show it.  I have been taking Motrin to keep it down.I simply asked “Please give me exactly what my last 2 providers have given me,  I was healed practically “overnight.”  The shot “Methylpred NA Succinate 125mg IM,” and the z-pack 250mg.She replied,  “ I’m not giving you either,, and proceeded to hand me paperwork which said “if not improved or symptoms worsen in 1 week, see primary care provider or go to nearest ER!I was floored!  I didn’t pay $75 to be given absolutely NOTHING  although my fever was down after taking Motrin all day.  She did finally write me a RX for a z-pack, but makes me wonder if her relatives are “primary care physicians” or “work in the ER.”  Basically, I think she is a “ Natural Healing Advocate ” and shouldn’t be in the medical business at all.  She could see it had been almost a year since I’ve been in, and not on the verge of creating a “superbug!” (From taking too many antibiotics).I already missed an entire week of work and WILL NOT recommend this URGENT CARE anymore!  Especially when she is working..Honestly!  Would I lie about something like this?If someone desires a “natural healing person, doctor, or provider, they should NOT be in the medical profession..  and, I wasn’t sitting around all day with fever without taking Motrin.Signed:Sick, Angry,  and an “Honest God Fearing”  RN from Sun Lakes, ArizonaNo, I would not recommend this provider.

I showed up to have stitches removed. I didnt make an appointment. The office was organized and efficient. The customers with appointments were taken care of as they should have been. It was a busy day so I waited for my turn. The staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend this office.

EDIT: EDIT: I have been waiting 4 days for my X-ray results! That is unacceptable. I can’t go on and get the medical help I need until I know what’s wrong. NextCare should be closed down. They have no business saying they can help people if they can complete the procedures they start. It’s unconscionable. They now get 1 star and that’s only because I can’t give a negative 5 star review.ORIGINAL: The staff were VERY kind, caring, and professional. Why I am giving only 3 stars is due to their system being down which caused a headache, in addition they sent me for X-rays down the road and I never got the results. I will have to wait two days over the weekend to get them. That is not acceptable in any way shape or form. My urgent care in St Louis, Total Access Urgent care has ALL the equipment to do whatever is needed right there on the site. Unfortunately I was traveling in AZ and had to go to NextCare. Here’s another tip, get an appointment before going. It will save you time and a headache.

Very disappointed and will not be back to this Urgent Care! There should be a review of the physicians on staff. I fell off a ladder from about 8 ft high onto cement and went in describing my pain and specifically asked about x-rays being done. Was told no to being sent to Simon Med, etc, for x-rays since I fell on my buttocks and not spine - thought that was weird. A week later I went to an actual doctor describing the pain - they were shocked that Urgent Care did not send me for x-rays. Long story short - I got the x-ray results and have a T1 fracture in addition to a couple other issues identified in the x-rays, so having to get an MRI now. Happy to provide these docs if needed. I couldve been on a better treatment plan right after the fall had NextCare simply sent me for x-rays. Its not that tough of a process - patient comes in and says they fell 8 ft from a ladder onto cement - 1st step should always be an x-ray! Unacceptable!

They got me in the same day and the service and process was excellent. Everyone was professional and very nice. Definitely would recommend them for any urgent care needs.

Young lady up front was not the most friendly at first. Then, she lightened up after some discussion.The online check-in process was good. They did get me in fairly quickly.The Dr was nice, but she didn’t seem confident in what she prescribed for topical pain relief for my shingles?Nonetheless, I wanted some relief so I grabbed the Capsician (Sp?) she subscribed and put it on the perineal area where I had the discomfort. After about 20 seconds the pain continued to increase. It was like pouring rubbing alcohol on an open wound. I am in a warm bath trying to recover. Not exactly what I was looking for when I went to NexCare for help.

My wife was feeling pretty poorly yesterday - symptoms like a head cold. Made an appointment yesterday for 9 am this morning. Got seen by the staff right away. Test showed she has Covid.. Instructions given for her care. Was back home 1 hour after leaving. Very pleased!

Im writing this review as a reminder to myself.Amanda, this urgent care has an X-Ray so its convenient when the kids break a bone. They do rapid COVID and flu. They do not have enough staff or strong time management (or both) to be able to make this trip any shorter than an ER trip. Checking in early does not make a difference if there is already a wait and they are already behind (they usually are).

I visited this facility seeking treatment for a nail infection since my primary care physician was unavailable. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Instead of addressing the root cause of my infection, the provider focused solely on managing the symptoms. Additionally, I was charged for a service that implied an MDs involvement, but there was no MD present on-site—only a PA. This discrepancy left me feeling misled and frustrated with the overall service. I would recommend seeking treatment elsewhere if you need comprehensive care and clear billing practices.

Double check they have the staff and equipment you need before doing anything they could charge you for. We went to this location on Ocotillo and Alma School specifically, as the site said they had an x-ray machine. We wanted to validate my daughter did not have a fracture and stated as much when we got there. They took her vitals then said their X-ray machine was down and to go to a different NextCare. They charged $100 under the guise they provided service.

Made an appointment for 8:40am and was out by 9:15am. The facility was very clean and nice. All the staff I talked to were very nice. I would definitely recommend this urgent care.

I will never come back to Nexcare Urgent care, ever. Did not appreciate the way I was treated, this is my first time to go to a Nexcare facility and the last time, receptionist could not take 2 minutes to help get me checked in, they disappeared in the back so I left, went to Dignity Urgent care.

Place the was on point! Polite, efficient and communicative. NP - Sarah - was excellent. No nonsense, direct and personable. Put my concerns to rest, gave clear benchmarks of what to expect and instructions to follow as virus runs it’s course. Great Nurse Practitioner!!

Horrible! I will NEVER go to this Urgent Care in the future - no caring and nothing fast/urgent - I waited over 2 hours after having an appointment- over charged me for nothing done! PA looked in my eye and nothing was concluded - racist PA told me to put a hot towel on my eye - no meds prescribed- charged my insurance company and I paid $225 for no information on my condition. I need to make another appointment tomorrow and need to get a professional opinion. Please do not waste your time going to this “urgent care”.

I was very impressed by my NextCare experience. It was easy to make an appointment. The receptionist, medical assistant and provider were all professional. I’d definitely recommend this location.

The “Dr” misdiagnosed what should have been an easy UTI …. Then told me to stop antibiotics. It has progressed now and my regular Dr is beside himself at the awful medical care I received here. Never again.

Its wonderful to be able to schedule online. However, when I arrived 15 mins prior to my appt time, I waited over an hour. It would be nice if technology would alert if appts are running far behind. Sitting in a lobby with other ill people for that long is not ok. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes once seen. There was one person ahead of me when I arrived. Hmmm

Made me pay $286 AFTER insurance just to be told to see an orthopaedist and take ibuprofen for my knee pain. The whole process took 10 minutes. I have never felt so robbed.

X/ ray was down. Provider never called back about my X-ray from another place. Staff was very nice and provider was nice. No follow up still waiting almost 24hrs later.

I made an appointment for 9:30 & showed up at 9:15 to check in. At 10:00 the receptionist brought me up to pay the full amount of my bill because her system couldnt pull me up on blue cross. At 10:45 the nurse brought me back to take vitals, he totally earned his star. I was put in a room and waited until 11:30 for the Dr. to come in. After my diagnoses she recognized that I truly needed help and got me an enjection for my pain, she earned her star.I take issue with the fact that, even with an appointment it took 2 hours to get help. My deductible was fully met, but there was no option for the front desk to call and ask. I thought the three people in the office did a great job with the crazy day that they had. More help in their office is greatly needed.

Was able to make an appointment within 3 hours on the same day! Great service, place was clean and waited only 10 minutes. Very happy with the experience 🎉🎉🎉

Recommend to make an appt online if possible. Liked that they had information about the number of people waiting in line just in case you can’t/don’t want to make an appointment. Was seen quickly after scheduled appointment time and able to get an r ray taken and read there. Staff was friendly and helpful! Thank you!

Got misdiagnosed here by the oriental lady doc. I told her what I had and she was stubborn and said no I do not think it is that. Week later symptoms did not improve but got worse, went to the NextCare on Higley and the male doc was able to identify what was wrong immediately. Avoid the oriental lady at all cost. AVOID NORIKO ROBERTSON at all costs please see other reviews regarding her mishandling! Higley NextCare took care perfectly

Noriko and I have been doctor/patient and friends for many years. It’s amazing how time passes so quickly. If anything, she’s gotten better at her diagnostic skills. She has a way of making me feel better even tho I walk in feeling pretty bad…like pneumonia bad. I’m so glad she is still at the Ocotillo Nextcare!

Best experience. Front office was nice and they got us in earlier than our scheduled appointment which was amazing. Will definitely go back for next years sports physical.

Great service. Was processed quickly and politely and seen within 15 min. Provider listed to my concerns and after running the appropriate tests, diagnosed and prescribed the correct Rx.

The provider took the time to talk to me to get an accurate history. She checked all my complaints phyically. And discussed the plan of care. I was heard and felt everything was going to be better. Thank you

They doctor was great but the lady at the front desk...not so much. A gentleman and his son came in to be treated. The gentleman was a vet and thought his son was also covered under the VA. The lady told him no and explained it which was fine. What happened afterwards was very unprofessional. She proceeded to talk about the gentleman with another worker but also in front of other patients. Its not what she said but how she said it. Her attitude and tone of her voice was very disrespectful. I understand the gentleman may have been wrong but that is no reason to act like he was stupid or that she was better than him. To act like that with any patient is unacceptable but especially with a vet. She never once smiled the whole time I was there and she acted as if she didnt want to be there. People that are sick already are feeling like crap, nobody needs to deal with someone with a crappy attitude. Do better and have some respect.

This urgent care is amazing. I highly recommend. I wish Nextcare was closer to where I leave. They treat you so well and they are determined to find the root cause of your issues. Sara the nurse practitioner is very sweet and caring. She goes above and beyond to take care of you.

We received excellent service even with a very busy lobby, we were walk ins. The staff was professional and kind. Would definitely visit this facility again.

I am so thankful this urgent care was open with very short wait time. I caught norovirus and was very sick. Anti nausea meds helped so much and testing neg for flu and Covid helped me know what I was dealing with. They were kind, prompt and helped me be able to get some fluids back in me to help ride out this awful virus. Much better now thank goodness. I thought they were great.

Needed a CDL exam immediately and was able to get in with no wait time. Medical staff were very professional, and the PA I saw was very informative. Highly recommended.

Incredibly clean facility. Really amazing, I’m so grateful to have this urgent care close by! The technician and PAC were over the top people. The level of attention and care was more than I’d ever have imagined. I heard and cared for by the best of the best.

I was seen immediately and the PA examined my wound and called in a prescription to my Pharmacy. That is what I needed to happen so I am certainly satisfied. Antibiotic appears to be working after only two pills so I am happy.

I was able to schedule an appointment quickly for the next morning. The wait time was minimal. I was out of the appointment in less than an hour. They were able to do tests quickly to rule out the flu, etc for my sore throat. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Easy - had to wait a bit because others had appointments. I will have one next time. But the wait wasn’t bad. Everyone I talked to was pleasant.

Facility, staff and PA on duty were nice. We got there with NO other patients there, in front waiting or back office, but still waited 35mins to be called back.

Always go to a NextCare when we need urgent care. Very efficient and concerned during visit. Easy to make appointment online. They always fix the problem.

Visited NextCare Ocotillo Tuesday morning for help with a post-surgery severe rash. I did not have an appointment but was seen in less than 1 hr. PAC Melissa was exceptional. Very caring and knowledgeable about treatment options. I definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing help.

My wife and I went to Nextcare Urgent Care on Ocotillo Road in Chandler this morning. Courtney was very helpful and friendly and greeted us with a big smile. I was waiting to see someone about a severe pain I have had in my right hip down to my knee for several days. The young lady that took my vitals was very helpful and kind. Unfortunately, I forgot to get her name. Melissa, the PA that helped me with my problem, was fabulous. She didnt rush through things, was thorough, knowledgeable about my problem and just the nicest person. Melissa advised us what to do if the problem continued. She also phoned in a prescription for me to my pharmacy right away. My experience at this UC was so positive. I was well taken care of by the entire staff.

All three employees that I saw were very professional, and seem to be very efficient. I will definitely go back there. They actually listen to you

She cured me. I went to an ENT three times and have been suffering for a year.. I had a horrible ear infection that developed into terrible pink eye. . All I needed was drops. Thank you thank you . !I am myself again!

I had a lot of questions and they answered all of them. Some very kind people here, the nice lady who gave me a shot was 10/10 would recommend, so nice and didn’t even feel it.

I didnt feel as though the Doctor listened to me but give that front desk woman a raise she was absolutely amazing and handled very rude and upset patient with very much grace and she was amazing

Was hoping to get a second opinion on my sore throat after my original teladoc visit. Scheduling the appointment was easy! Getting seen at my appointment time? Not so much. Appt was at noon, I arrived 20 minutes early. Had check in ready and did not get called into a room until an hour after my appointment time. Explained situation to MA (he was friendly) was told I was next. I spent another 20 minutes in the room to see a NP, who I retold my symptoms to and just said “let it run its course” after looking at me. No swab, no other interjections until I reminded them this was day 4 with the pain and if she was sure nothing could be done. I had to ask to be swabbed, and asked for alternative medicine. Not a whole lot of guidance given. Disappointed that I was ready with everything checked in and on time to only leave with no further diagnostics two hours after having scheduled an “appointment”.

We have had really great service at this location on several different occasions. Brian and Selena are wonderful!! They care and personalize your visit with their kindness. The entire office staff is super friendly and if you do all the registration from the text they send you prior, it’s a very quick process when you show up for your appointment. I highly recommend this Urgent Care location.

Everyone at this office is incredibly friendly! The line was long, but they got through it as quickly as possible, and even though I was the last patient of the day, the doctor and entire staff were still smiling and cheerful.

This is the second time I have visited this location and will be my go to from now on.Today I had to take my daughter in for a possible fracture.I am bummed I didn’t catch his name but the nurse working today was wonderful. Very friendly, informative, professional, and made the situation so much easier. He got her x-Ray done in a timely manner and even let her and I check out the images before he sent them in which was super cool.I was able to make an appointment online and we were in and out in less than 2 hours. The office is clean, the rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The triage gentleman was friendly and informed me of my vitals as he took them. I felt the doctor was very thorough. She listened, took notes, and explained her diagnosis. I would highly recommend this facility.

Very efficient and kind. If the antibiotics come through in time I will be really pleased. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is you fill out info online, upload your id and INS card and still have to do it again in the office. Still, I was pleased with the overall experience.

Providers are friendly and efficient. As long as you make an appointment beforehand there’s little to no wait time.

My experience was miserable because I had high blood pressure which they never retook and I have afib they only wanted me to go to er and would not give me anything to help. I will never go back

I wasnt happy with the wait time. There were 2 families in the lobby when I walked in at 4pm. They took the next 4 people that walked in after me, instead of me. I asked if there was a process, like appointments and the receptionist said no. 2.5 hours later I was seen. Both the intake guy and the doctor were great but they must need more doctors to work there. I left after 3 hours.

This place was fast and efficient! Everything was clean and in good working order. The staff was friendly and got me in and out in 30 minutes!

Yesterday, I was seen, for an injured hand, at Nexcare located on Alma School and Ocotillo. The ladies at the front desk were a terrific help throughout the check-in process. The FNP and X-ray technician were kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would return to this urgent care and highly recommend this place. My only suggestion would be to schedule an appointment if possible. Appointments are self-schedule, and can be found by visiting a Nexcare website. Due to their exceptional patient support, they’re a high volume practice, and a scheduled visit will be prioritized over a walk-in visit.Thank you for an outstanding urgent care visit.

Great service!! From the moment we arrived outside the door and were met with a wheelchair without asking, to every step of the way with the nurse being extra caring and careful and instructive with what turned out to be a broken bone! Everyone was polite, caring and helpful! I highly recommend this facility!!

Went in for a sport physical. The practitioner was fine but the front desk girl was very rude!

Easy from creating the appointment to check out. Everyone was super nice and actually listened to me.

The whole process was just very easy and did not take too much time. Start to finish I was in and out within an hour. I went in to be treated for migraine headache, and I definitely appreciate the kindness and timeliness of the whole stuff.

I was very impressed. I had a bad cold that went into pneumonia. I was “reprimanded “ for waiting too long to be seen. They took great care of me. I forget the name of the triage nurse, he was wonderful. And Debra the NP was splendid. I was very pleased. I like their system where you fill out your info online. It’s very efficient.

Quick despite the computer system not working the day I went. Friendly staff which made me feel more comfortable. The X-ray tech Brian was very good and doing double duty that day. Cheers to excellent care!

I was sent here for workman’s comp. The staff is soo friendly and caring and the Dr. is just amazing! As a medical professional myself I would go here on a personal basis if I could!!

After visiting another urgent care with a 5 hour waiting line I went to Next Care and they got me in within 30 minutes. Everyone was really professional and extremely friendly. Which is hard to come by these days. I will definitely be recommending your facility to my friends. Thank you!

With all the Covid cases being reported I was not sure what I would encounter as a walk-in at NextCare but needed to be tested for my upcoming surgery. I was so surprised that only a few people were there and the check in process was very easy. The staff and nurses were very efficient with processing so only had to wait 30 min to get my test. The facility was very clean and refreshing and the location is perfect!! Thank you for you fine staff and promptness.

Dr didn’t provide pain medication thoug gave me steroids which I believe helped.

I didn’t get the care I was looking for, in fact I got no resolution at all. Doctor just ask me ton of questions and left just like that and asked to go to imaging center. I still had to pay the full fees.

Very nice staff. The wait was exactly what they said it would be.

They never answer the phone, even when your not busy. Results are displayed 1-3 days, I could have something serious going on and no one is answering. First time going to this urgent care and will never go there again! I’ve waited over 2 hours calling back to back to get test results and still nothing. Only person I could reach was billing and of course someone answered, just to transfer me to the urgent care for them not to still answer.

The nurse was really nice!Unfortunately, the wait time was awful and I waited 1 hour past my scheduled appointment time.Dr only saw me for roughly 30 seconds and didn’t even examine my actual foot, but instead proceeded to make sarcastic remarks.The front desk person on the way out assured me the discharge papers would be emailed, but they never were.It’s been 2.5 weeks and I still haven’t received the papers. I even called a few days after to speak with someone.No one answered so I was told by the operator that someone would call back.No one has.

Great PA and took care of my issues & took the time to make sure it was correctly diagnosed. Id recommend making an appointment online.

I was seen almost immediately & was taken very good care of after a freak drop in Blood Pressure.It was recommended that I go to Ocotillo Banner Hospital where I was also treated very quickly & had multiple tests carried out. Meanwhile my BP had returned to normal over multiple readings, tests were all normal & I was discharged to go home. Very Impressive in both places.

FNP Debra Ellsworth’s is one of the most informative and helpful medical professionals I’ve dealt with in a long time. Over the last few years I’ve lost complete faith and trust in the medical community and have gotten to the point I dread and avoid going to doctors u less I absolutely have to as there is such little care anymore with individual patient care. So often doctor/nurse responses seem robotic and scripted passed down from what seems like an FDA:CDC approved script. Debra really took the time to explain every symptom my daughter was having as well as associated recommendations for each one that was all about both treating the symptoms but doing so in a preventative way to let the body do it’s work rather than jump to pharmaceuticals. Today I gained faith back that there are some good doctors out there. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Its actually wild how many good reviews this place has. Maybe I caught them on a really bad day....I was in some pretty severe pain, and my pain tolerance is very high. They gave me nothing at all for the pain. I spent about 30 minutes waiting (which is fine), but I was given only about 3 minutes in front of the doctor. She was in and out. There was a decent language barrier there, so you can imagine how thorough those 3 minutes were.... They didnt take me serious at all, and were very nonchalant about my concerns and pain level. Over a $200 bill for 3-4 minutes of time at best.Perhaps change their name to just Urgent, because they for sure took the care out lol. They did however, urgently, got me in and out.

Went in for a Covid test. Out in 25 minutes, including paperwork. Very personable staff. Fortunately the test came back negative.

The Nurse Practitioner was the best I have ever had!! She made us feel as if we were the only patients in the office, when in fact it was packed! She took her time to talk to my boys about what matters and what is going to help them in their future, not just focusing on getting them in and out sign the sports physical. If I had a practice I would want her in my office. I will return because she is there.The nurse that took my boys vitals was very nice as well. I didn’t spend much time with him but he asked my boys questions above and beyond.The young lady who worked the front was kind. She was very busy dealing with ALOT of parents in the waiting room she handled herself well.

I arrived 40 minutes early, my bad. Then I wasnt seen till 30 minutes after my appointment. Long time in a waiting room. As long as the diagnosis is good Im cool.

Very efficient front desk. Friendly too.Wait time was about one hour. There were 11 patients in front of me. I was very happy with the speed they got my test done and saw the Dr. The Dr is a very lovely helpful woman. Have seen her several times. Always explains everything so I can understand.

Brian and Melissa were very courteous very sympathetic and extremely professional. I was impressed and very satisfied.

The place is poorly managed for an Urgent Care. Inspits of getting an appointment, there was a delay of 1hr 30mins for the appointment.The receptionist is extremely rude and unhelpful.Please do not visit this place if it’s really urgent!

After a snafu with a virtual visit, I did a walk-in at the Ocotillo location. I was seen quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful. My prescription was ready at the pharmacy as soon as I left. All told, it was excellent service.

Was able to make an appointment ahead of time- only waited 15 minutes and was seen right away! The NP was knowledgeable and professional- took the time to explain things thoroughly and wasn’t in a rush. Front desk and technicians were all friendly and had a smile on their faces. I highly recommend NextCare! I’ll be back if need be in the future.

This, by far was the worst medical experience I have encountered. Debra Ellsworth NP is incredibly rude. She walked into my room, hot and heated for no reason. I was nothing but polite to everyone and even waited an hour for my appointment. She didn’t gather a history from me. Or even attempt to exam me before she just dismissed me. She belittled me. Spoke down on me. Didn’t even let me speak. If I knew my experience would have ended like this, I obviously would not have wasted my Saturday morning here.She was not approachable. I didn’t feel comfortable sharing my history or symptoms with her. She just kept dismissing me. Listen to your patients. They are coming to you for help. No one wants to spend a weekend at urgent care. Obviously there are reasons why someone is reaching out but unfortunately she failed to do her job today. I would not trust her caring for myself or my family / friends.

NextCare is the ONLY urgent I use or recommend, facilitates are clean, staff courteous and caring. Setting up my appointment, updating my patient profile and checking was extremely easy, fast and efficient. The NP made sure she met my needs and treated my illnesses appropriately and made sure I understood my diagnosis and course of treatment and answered all my questions, i was in and out in 30 mins.

The staff was efficient, getting approximately 10 people(some of whom were waiting for friends or family) out of the waiting room in about 30 minutes. The staff quickly reviewed my medical history. They also performed the test efficiently and the medical supervisor( nurse practitioner, I believe) answered all of my questions. I recommend these people.

I was able to set a same day appt by calling the corporate number and the customer service representative was very kind and helpful. My son and I were the only people in the waiting room when we arrived. We were seen quickly and rapid tests were given. The provider spent an ample amount of time with us. The facilities were very clean. Great job!

Front office person, not friendly. Nurse who took stats, he was amazing. He was very friendly and caring. Dr-worst bedside manner I have EVER experienced. I literally wanted to say”Do you hate your job?”. Made me feel very small and unheard. I would never recommend and will never be back.

DO NOT GO HEREFront office girl had such an attitude. It was hard to watch her be rude to an older lady trying to understand her paperwork. The Dr. must allow it because she could care less about patients. The place wasnt busy and the Dr was annoyed my wife was there. She had been dizzy with high blood pressure and we needed a Dr.s advice. She literally asked my wife if she was having a stroke. How do we know? She did nothing and said you can go to the ER if you want and left the room without a good-bye or follow up or anything. My wife sat there confused thinking did she just walk out leaving me here. A nurse walked by saying you can go and that was the end. Must be nice to get paid a Dr. salary when you are a horrible Dr. with a bad attitude. Dont go here - your just a paycheck.

The wait was long. But it was at no fault to the staff. Everyone was professional and forthcoming with time expectations. I waited in my car... got a smoothie next door and listened to music. When it was my turn, triage was quick. The provider was quick and I was on my way quick!Thank you to the whole staff for being there being professional and friendly through this time. You’re so appreciated

I got the last appointment at 7:30pm. Bryan the triage nurse and Debra the NP were very efficient. I have had Debra before, and being from New York City, she is very direct and will not be in the mood to “chitchat “, but she is good. I received good care and they addressed my issue.

I would give a zero if that was possible. Spent lots of time filling out the paperwork online just to schedule an appointment. Their website says they will treat COVID-19 patients and prescribe the new antivirals if applicable; however, after getting my 85-year-old mother there we were informed their policy has changed and they no longer offer treatment. Unacceptable would be an understatement. No communications. The young lady at the front desk was exceptionally polite but that hardly makes up for the lack of service. I will be sure to tell everyone I know.

Physician was great today, but we made an appt and still waited 2 hours. Appts are not prioritized and just treated like a walk in, so I recommend making one and then checking in and seeing how many are actually in front of you before going in and waiting in a waiting room full of sick people.

If I could give this place as zero stars, I truly would. My whole entire experience. Here was nothing but terrible. The staff was very unkind from the person at the front desk to the actual doctor herself. I came in with all the symptoms of the flu and Covid and explained how I was having a hard time breathing. The doctor came in for about one minute max and all she did was look in my ears and tell me that I most likely have a sinus infection. I was not giving a flu test or a Covid test, and I was made it seem like my symptoms were not important. I came in here feeling very sick and I’m leaving, feeling the same way, but leaving feeling worse about how I was treated.Update: I went somewhere else and was tested positive for COVID, for real treatment and real care go some place else

We love our Next on Ocotillo and Alma School, they are so efficient, caring, fast and still really listen and take in the patient as an individual. Never a bad experience at NextCare! If you want great care go to NextCare!

Great experience here! I walked in at 6:45pm & was put on the waitlist to wait in my car, which is much better than sitting in the waiting room. I got a call at 7:50 that it was my turn. Walked in & went right back. The nurse was so kind. The Dr was very thorough. She listened, asked questions, & I was not rushed. I had an exam, chest x-ray, & prescriptions, and was out in 1 hour. The rx were sent over to the pharmacy for me so I drove right over & picked them up. The office was very clean. I am so glad I chose this place!

Very thorough and kind once signed in. In fact 5* all around! The only thing I would change is on my side to sign up beforehand… but it was first thing Monday morning and I was still proceeded in a reasonable manner of time with excellent care!

The staff were professional and I love how they have an app that lets me schedule an appointment from anywhere! The app says how busy they are and gives accurate time tables so you never get stuck waiting in line like in other places Ive been. They also took great care of us and got us the help we needed for our daughter when she got whooping cough.

3 months ago this place was a 20 min turn around if you had an appointment. Last few times we have been here we have waited over an hour to see a doctor. Plus the staff is very uncooperative. Would not let me back with my son because he is over 18. He is very very sick and as his mom I needed to be involved. What would the danger of me going back with him be, is it going give everyone in here covid!!?? So mad

The receptionist was very kind. The doctors assistant who calls you back was helpful and yet right on task so they could care for patients in a timely manner. The doctor listened and offered suggestions. The x-ray technician was knowledgeable. If you need an urgent care, this place does a great service.

The wait was a little long but the staff is very nice, especially the Dr. I would definitely come back for that reason alone. She was down to earth and easy to talk to.2nd visit and saw Britni this time and she was amazing as well. This will always be my go to urgent care!

Incredibly friendly. Today is 9-5-2022 and there were genuinely kind people as soon as I walked in all they way to seeing the doctor or NP. Whoever is doing the hiring here keep it up. Other urgent care places need to take notes.

This Nextcare was very clean and the staff (both front desk and doctors) were very helpful and friendly. I had 3 sports physicals to take care of and we were in and out within 30 minutes. We did have appointments for 2 out of 3 children, but the doctors were on time at 2pm. I was pleasantly surprised!! I will definitely go here again.

I seem to have an urgent care situation every weekend and Im grateful to have discovered NextCare--twice in two weeks. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The medical assistant is thorough and complete in taking a history. Diagnosis was swift; prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy. I was especially impressed that they followed up as promised by phoning me three days later with results of my culture. I highly recommend NextCare.

Amazing service, great staff, quick, and affordable. I strongly recommend this clinic. We went for my nephews physical exam.

While I liked the triage nurse the doctor really didnt try to figure out why I had a ton of discomfort. I had a very very sore throat and they checked for strep when it came back negative she just said it was a sore throat and I could go to a pharmacist for an over the counter medication which I felt wasnt worth a copay of $50 to be told to go to cvs and get some throat lozenges, and that was unfortunate

I had appointment for 10:20 AM but did not go in to the exam room for an hour. I also noticed there was 2 people didnt have an appointment but went in before me. I am giving 4 stars because once you are in the room everything was very efficient.

I recommend checking in online. It’ll speed you through lightening fast. Everyone was pretty friendly and helpful and their app remembers your info even though I hadn’t been to urgent care in years. I was pleasantly surprised

Quick, professional, friendly, clean. The doctor and nurse listened to me with compassion. Front desk staff was friendly. Online check-in was very easy. The doctor came up with a plan of attack for which OTC and home remedies to use, plus called in a prescription to use in a few days if my symptoms hadnt cleared by then. She took a modest approach and didnt push unnecessary medications on me. I will use this urgent care again! Highly recommend!

These people were amazing!! They are the nicest most professional people and were able to provide immediate relief. I will go to them every time I need too. Thank you so so much. You are both amazing!! I had to wait 45 min beyond my appointment but definitely worth the wait.

I had a skin infection from a bad cut. Going into the office at 3:30pm on Sunday when they closer at 4pm. Thank you so much for getting me in as a walk in. In and out in 30 minutes. Thank you all for caring and not brushing me off or turning me away. I appreciate the staff on duty on 5/22/22.

Walked in on a Saturday to find out they only had one provider & the wait would be 2-3 hrs. Expected. After 2 canceled ppl, my wait slimmed down to 2 hrs. Not a bad 2nd experience with NextCare. Staff friendly & helpful.

I made an appointment, but probably would not have had to wait. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant. I was seen by the PA within 5 minutes. She was very personable, professional, listened to my concerns, and explained her preferred course of treatment. Prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely use Nextcare again.

I had an appointment on Friday 03/11/2021 and had to wait several minutes before I was seen. There was a young lady waiting who had been in their waiting area for hours who was never seen. Obviously this young lady was sick. I was brought back, vitals, temp and brought to a room. I saw an NP who asked a few questions, said I had bursitis and prescribed me a medication that she said would work. I was given a supply of 14 days. I took 8 and they were no help. I ended up at another Urgent Care where I was told the medication I received for my bursitis was worthless. $95.00 for a 20 min visit w/insurance. Never again. Ill go where I can get better care with or without insurance.

First office is very clean. Check in was very easy. The nurse technician was very helpful. The wait time for the doctor was very short. She reviewed my reason for the appointment. Dr sent prescription to my pharmacy.

Ive been here once before and had a great experience but this time I had to take my daughter and it was awful. Our appt was at 11:40 and we weren’t seen until 1:15. When we finally did get seen by Lekha Nair she came in in a rush and left in a rush. Was a three minute visit MAYBE. I tried to talk but she wasnt listening to my concerns. She gave us a “treatment” and sent is on our way. For the money we are having to pay I would expect a better bedside manner And someone who actually takes the time to listen.

I came in for a COVID 19 test. I had a severe cough and my doctor recommended I get the test.They took the test and They will email me the results in 24 hrs.The Nurse Practioner also checked my vital s to make sure there wasnt anything to be concerned about.Very pleased with Professionalism and extra care.

The provider Kelly was amazing! We are here on vacation from out of state and were nervous bringing our 4 year old in to just any urgent med… so glad we came here and saw Kelly and also the nurse on with her were both so awesome! Down to earth and eased our anxiousness with our little guy and assured us we are doing everything correct. She was awesome! Glad we were able to see her this evening!

I have a daughter with special needs and doctors visits can be difficult for her. The first time I brought her here it was because it was convenient and the PCH urgent care didn’t open until noon on Sunday’s. They were incredible with my daughter - patient, understanding and so kind. We went again today and had NP Nicole and once again she was truly kind and was able to get my daughter through the visit with no tears. Highly recommend!

Had a good experience here scheduling a last minute sports physical. The cost was very affordable. They were quick with our time there and were friendly.

From the time I called online to check in and treatment by the staff in clinic it was professional and efficient Covid makes wait times a bit long but the clinic is next to a nice coffee shop that you can drive thru. The professional kind medical intake gentleman and the very qualified NP took very good care of me and took time to answer question and give instructions. Thank you.

The lady at the front desk was not friendly at all. Today was my sons first time going to the doctor alone as he just turned 18 a week ago. She wasnt friendly to him and when I spoke to her on the phone, it only confirmed how he described her. We went there the other night for a physical and there was someone different, who was only filling in that night, and she was very pleasant. Customer service goes a long way, especially when you arent feeling well. Today it also took a while for my son to be seen even though they werent busy. After this experience we will probably find a different location for the future.

Care At the Nextcare Urgent Care was very courteous and helpful. I tried to get my appointment scheduled on-line , which gave me an appointment time, but I guess it failed. Even after placing all my information on line.

I would not recommend this place. I went here when I was very sick. The waiting room was full of people (no social distancing). I felt dizzy and nauseous and just wanted to sit outside or in my car. I asked if they could text me when they were ready as I did have an appointment. I was told that I had to keep coming in and checking because they do not text or come out to get you. I didn’t think I was gonna make it and almost went back home. There was NO social distancing. There was a patient who appeared so sick she was laying on the waiting room floor. People with no appointments were being told it could be a two hour wait. I called back twice to get a test result and nobody ever called me back. I got the results myself directly from the lab. They left me on an antibiotic I didn’t need to be on. I had to go back again and went to Banner Urgent Care on Alma School & Queen Creek. They are not seating anyone in the waiting area. If they can’t take you right back to a sick room they send you to your car to wait. Which is the way it should be in the times of Covid.

Made an appointment online & received several reminders with links to check in. Checked in at my scheduled time. Got seen within 15 mins and was done after another 20. 35 mins total isn’t bad at all for urgent care. Staff was super friendly & made me feel better. Thanks!

I went online today around 11...found a 2pm appointment...got there ontime and was seen shortly after...my daughters vitals were taken and the Dr came in and saw her within minutes...shortly after we were on our way to pick up her prescription...that was the fastest Ive been in and out of Urgent Care. I was also able to fill out my documents and upload insurance online prior to my visit which was easy as well.

Facility is extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the website is very misleading. It allows you to schedule an online appointment but in fact it is not an appointment - it is simply holding a position as a walk-in. When you walk in with except child expecting to be seen at 9 oclock only to learn youre going to be sitting for another 40 minutes it is very frustrating.

I did the check-in online, made it so much easier once I got there. I think the staff really appreciates it too when you do that, lightens their workload in a very stressful time. No complaints whatsoever, they were great.

I had to bring my 5 y/o in due to what seemed like a pretty intense stomach flu. Doctor was so friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my concerns instead of just writing them off or ignoring them completely. She took her time and fully answered all my questions. I’d go as far to say I received equal to better care here compared to my primary care physician.

Update (7/7/23): They now have two people at front reception and wait is back to being minimal if you book in advance online. Appt times fill up quickly so its best to book as soon as you are feeling ill. Turnaround times for Covid, flu and strep tests are like 20 minutes once you are seen. Still my go-to place for urgent care!__________Ive been coming exclusively to Ocotillo NextCare Urgent Care (after a ho-hum experience at another urgent care center) for the last two years since moving to AZ.It would have been another 5 stars if it werent for my recent visit where I had to wait almost 40 minutes for a scheduled appointment that I had booked on their Solv website.It seems like the Covid-19 pandemic has gotten them SUPER busy...I guess from everyone going there at the slightest sign of a fever or a cough. The last two weeks, I couldnt get same day appts; I had to book a day in advance...and they dont seem to answer their phone anymore. I guess its because the best ones are always the busiest.Once you are seen, however, you get the no nonsense, accurate turnaround on results. That hasnt changed.

I don’t understand how they have a 4.5 star rating. The staff nice but the wait is horribly long. My daughter’s appt was at 11:20 and it’s currently 12:40 and the front desk said it’s going to be a 40 minute more wait. The same thing happened to someone i know who came here. THE PLACE IS EMPTY TOO!

Courteous & efficient office staff, kind and patient nurses, and a doctor that listened and had a sense of humor earned them 4 stars. The administration lost a star because it look a long time to see the doctor because they didnt schedule 2 doctors during the busiest time of year.

Was unable to schedule an apt, and I’ve been to other NextCare locations that do not accept COVID testing walk-ins but I thought I’d try.No patients in the waiting room, the front desk people were very nice, they checked me in quickly. The physician who saw me was helpful and professional :)

Doctor was very nice but the staff was pretty bad. Also I used the app to check in and followed the instructions that said it would let the staff know I was there and just waiting in my car. Then I waited for hours and was taken out of the line so I went inside and the staff said they didnt know I was there. I told her I checked in on my phone and she said oh it doesnt tell us that your here. Well sorry you and your app apparently dont talk to each other. My appointment was at 1:4pm and I didnt leave till almost 4:30pm and just to ensure I was unsatisfied I guess the staff thought it would just be super great if they sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy even though they asked me where I wanted it sent to.If you have alot of time to waste go ahead and try this Walmart of health care.

Beautiful new clinic. Not busy at all since we were told its a brand new location that not many people know about yet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to get X-rays and the report in less than an hours time. Highly recommend to anyone wanting good service in a timely manner.

They are absolutely awesome! Great customer service even though they were slammed with back to school sports physicals. Both reception and after being taken back we felt taken care of, left extremely happy with their care. Highly recommend!

Hardly anyone in at the time, the wait was quick and painless. Minimal paperwork to fill out, since I was a new patient. Once the nurse did my initial evaluation, I saw the FPN, got an x-ray and got the results, all in about an hour. Happy with my care here.

It’s such a relief to have a resource like this close by. I waited less than 10 minutes to be seen and all of my issues were addressed. The pharmacy was texting that my prescription was ready before I even got in my car. Very thorough and efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Sure beats spending the day in the ER!

Megan was nasty and should be terminated from any customer service position. She laughed when I said I needed Covid-19 tests for myself and my 3 sons. Then she told a co-worker that someone just walked in with 4 tests with an attitude like she could care less about helping us.Then she provided wrong information about rapid testing to several people as I sat there for 5 hours and waited.Your urgent care was the worst I have ever visited!!

Came here for a sports physical for my 15 year old son who plays soccer. I set up a same day appointment for $25 and really felt like the staff cared about me. They even recognized it was my birthday from my license and wished me, Happy Birthday. The physical was quick but the doctor cared about what she was doing and was very nice. Doing all of our physicals here from now on.

Doctors were quick to help my daughter even with multiple patients ahead of us. Took the time to answer all questions and make sure I felt good taking her home.

Nextcare on Ocotillo is a very clean, and well run urgent care! All of the staff is very friendly and helpful! I arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, was seen right away, received a test, saw a doctor who tended to my concerns, and was given results within 15 minutes!

On our first visit: Short waiting time. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable health care provider.Second visit: Someone else’s dried blood was on the exam room floor, and a muddy boot print. She looked at the wound on the bottom of my foot while I sat in a chair and then asked me to move to the exam table. I used my shoe like a skate to avoid contact with the floor. Unacceptable!

Honestly I’ve never been treated so poorly before by an urgent care. Don’t come here that’s all I have to say

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable and caring staff. The facility was well organized and clean. I felt that my concerns were addressed and explained. I really appreciated the MA and provider this morning (3/16/22)

The service today was quick and responsive to my needs. From reception to tech to nurse practitioner, all were of such great help, patience, and empathy for my situation.

Dr Ellsworth was very professional and provided great repair of my laceration. The office is clean and the scheduling as efficient as possible with a constant flow of walk-ins.

I went for a sinus infection on a Sunday and asked to prescribe an antibiotic that works for me my entire life. They PA said no and gave me another antibiotic which does not work for me and I told them this. They said lets try it again.I had to go to my regular doctor and get the antibiotic that works after trying the prescribed antibiotic that does not work for me from this Urgent Care.Another thing I noticed is I had to wear a mask and the front desk person did not while the Nurse and PA did.I will not go back, and you cannot get in basically without an appointment.

This facility is clean, professional and very efficiently managed. The staff are wonderful people; kind, compassionate and highly effective at their positions - walk-ins are seen quickly and the entire process is smooth from start to finish. Nicole, RNP, is a consummate medical professional with a very gentle, communicative and informative manner with patients; I have met many RNPs and she is one of the absolute best.

Terrible experience for an eye infection, trouble getting a message thru to office, trouble with communicating between office and pharmacy, trouble getting medication I needed. The medication I was prescribed made my eye worse, when I followed up with my eye doctors they let me know this medication is not used by eye doctors because of the damage it causes. If I had not went into another doctors office my eye would have been way worse, Nextcare waisted my time my money and almost cost me my eyes!
