My husband and I had such a fantastic experience here. Dr. Reshef was transparent about the whole process and answered any questions we had. When it came to procedures he would talk you through the whole thing, everything you might be feeling and may experience which really put my mind at ease. The nurses were AMAZING! So sweet and gentle. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with them. You never waited long and contacting them was really easy since they have an app and you can message the nurses. They usually got back to you within a few hours, which if you know anything about doctors offices, that’s pretty amazing! We can’t recommend this place enough!

Had a pretty bad experience with one of the receptionists when trying to set up a consultation. This was not the Chicago center receptionist, but someone who sets up testing for new patients. I had some initial questions as I was a new patient, and this woman was very condescending. She used a bunch of abbreviations for tests which I obviously didnt know what they meant and acted like I was dumb for asking. She then transferred me to my local clinic but told me the wrong number to select so I ended up back on the call with her to which she responded very rudely. When my transfer finally went through (I had to play around with the options to figure it out myself), I ended up just cancelling the appointment. This was such a disappointing experience overall. People looking for fertility help are already feeling so vulnerable and are just trying to figure things out. Having an employee who is so unkind and snappy makes the whole experience so much worse. Will definitely not be giving any money to this place.

I trust everyone who works here. They are all so friendly and empathetic while also being experts in the field. It can be such a huge process so having the right partner is even more important.

I think you must do witchcraft, Im calling you for information about fertility and IVG, I sign the agreement like new partient, I have the copy of that!!! nothing else who talking about money!!!..I never been able to sign in my account, I never receive any emails, any messages any calls, now 7 months later, you send me an invoice saying that I have to pay for a consultation that I have not had or taken?you said my consultation was on december 2023? And no calls? Nothing?Are you sure everything is fine in your system or you? Until you tell me that you are going to send this to collection? Jesus!!! am I dreaming or what? Listen.. Im going to sue you, its going to make you lose the desire to scam people... are you okay? I dont hide myself, I live in Louisiana, my credit score is perfect... if I only feel a stain on it, I will show you that the United States is a nation of law....bunch of thieves!!! You want to take advantage of people ?...not me!!!

We cant give AFCC enough 5 star reviews, especially Dr. Catennaci and her whole team, they have been so nice and caring!We tested 6 embryos and got 2 euploids and a HLM -8. Our kids are almost 4, 5 and 2 weeks old and as healthy as can be. Thank you so much, we are forever grateful

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Advanced Fertility of Chicago, and we are excited to be welcoming our first child in December.We first met the clinic last year to speak with the doctors and learn about the process of IVF. It was a bit overwhelming learning about all the different options a couple has for IUI/IVF, but the team explained everything in detail and were patient with all our questions.Once you begin the process, the clinic is very clear with instructions through the portal. Their communication is quick and thorough if you have questions.My wife and I did reciprocal IVF and had the privilege of working with Dr. Reshef. His bedside manner was exceptional. He shows compassion, he listens to your concerns and gives you thorough answers. He walks you through every step of the way and treats you like your family to him.The staff at the clinic are very professional. The appointments are quick, and you won’t see the doctor on every appointment. But the clinic is fast to report test results and consult with the doctors on your treatment plan. I highly recommend the Advanced Fertility clinic and will be using them again to continue growing our family.

We are so happy with our entire process with this fertility center. Our main doctor was Dr. Reshef and we thought his entire team were very professional and knowledgeable on everything. We originally started with a different company but we were very disappointed with their process. It just felt like they were putting us off and didn’t care to get us in. As soon as we called advanced fertility we had a consult just a couple weeks later and then next thing we knew we were schedule the following week for our tests and it just moved so quickly and smoothly we were so excited to be that much closer to our dream! I don’t do good with needles so this whole process was just so scary to me but everyone was so gentle and made me feel comfortable. We unfortunately had to do a couple transfers before getting pregnant but so far we are almost 3 months pregnant and so excited to be parents! I highly recommend this place.

Im surprised by all of the negative reviews here! I had a great experience (seeing Dr. Schell in Downers Grove primarily but was also seen at this location and Gurnee). The nurses were wonderful and Dr. Schell was involved, available, and attentive. My first cycle was successful and I felt informed every step of the way.

Run far way they have a new bills new financial policy every month now they want patients to pay 75%. Of the total amount of the deductible from the insurance mines was 5000 … was asked to pay 3600 upfront prior to starting IVF was told this new policy is effective MaY 1st … why wasn’t I told this a month prior …..

Avoid: As many have said, there is no patient care, no transparency in billing, a doctor Dr. Catenacci who should be investigated for her poor performance and oversight of her clinic.

Unfortunately coming back for my second child was a big mistake. My previous doctor was Dr. Irani and he was amazing, sadly he moved out of state. So this time around I went with Dr. Catenacci. I had only one consult (one conversation) with her in my 5 months of returning. I never spoke to her again, & everything was done through the nurse/MA. I didn’t feel like I was being listened too and everything was so rushed. With my previous doctor (Dr. Irani), he helped me through a miscarriage and then helped us conceive from our first IUI, and he had amazing communication through it all. Unfortunately this new provider was not like him. I received news about recent HCG level decline, (another impending miscarriage) from the nurse and not the doctor which I feel is very unprofessional but was told by the nurse that’s how fertility works, even though this was never the case with DR. Irani. This place has really gone down hill in the provider and patient communication, and in showing any empathy to the patients going through a tough process. You are treated like a number, and the atmosphere is very cold and awkward when you go in for your monitoring. The staff is not personable and probably over worked. After wasting time and money, I will be moving on with my journey to another clinic that actually cares about the patients.

Worst experience ever. They are only wasting our time. From last 2 months we were trying to fix an appointment. In first appointment they cancelled due to not filling form but that was early too to cancel. We have rights to fill form before the appointment date but they cancelled in few days. Then my husband scheduled second appointment and again they said our appointment has been cancelled but not giving any specific reason just putting my call on hold and disconnect. Trying to call again talking with Alondra she booked another appointment for today. After consulting with doctor Im changing my rating from 0 to 4. Hope everything will go smoothly

You are told something different by every person you talk to here. It took 9 hrs for someone to respond in an emergency situation. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised as it usually takes 3 days to 3 weeks to get a response. My egg retrieval was the worst experience I’ve had in my life. I was told I couldn’t even say goodbye to my spouse not to mention they started my procedure before I was under! The doctor was great the first call I had with him. But after the procedure he didn’t even know my name or what I had done. It’s been the worst. I’ve cried every single day in an already horrible situation. Today I got a call for an imaginary $5,000 bill that isn’t even on my chart.Please run from this place! Don’t make an already horrible experience be even worse.They only want your money. They do NOT care about you.

I would have given them less than 1 star if I could. They continuously wasted my time every cycle, each cycle they said there is nothing else to do only to remember they had forgotten to take a test from me or my husband. The doctor doesn’t even respond to the emails. The most irresponsible team of healthcare providers. They have no respect for you and your time. I could go on and on.This is an update I am leaving here.Once again, I am so glad I stopped going to their clinic, I just received a statement of another patients of theirs with the last 4 digit of the social security and all the tests they have done, the address and other info of that patient that they sent to me, they clearly used my address for another patient. I also just did a genetic consultation and was told the genetic testing they ordered for my husband was ordered through a company that did not event have the testing for the genes I had tested positive for. Advance fertility clinic had my genetic testing, they specifically tested my husband to rule out the possibility of him testing positive for those genes and they once again failed in providing proper care. STAY AWAY!

Dr Reshef is an amazing doctor and he made me feel comfortable more than any doctor I’ve talked to.After I raised a communication in the first week they have managed to get hold of me actively. They seem to be a very caring clinical team all together.

I had a girl with this clinic a few years ago, and everything was great. The doctor, nurse, and the receptionist was really caring and understanding. The billing was always clear. After the first IVF, we were pregnant. I would have given 10 stars, if I could.I went back for the second IVF and had the worst experience. No clear explanation about the procedure, the receptionist was unprofessional, and we received many surprising bills.The payment balance on the patient portal was NEVER accurate. Our last service was in June 2023, and we got additional bills in Nov 2023 AFTER 3 staffs in the billing department confirmed the final balance in October, we paid all, AND the payment balance on the portal became $0. Absolutely no transparency with billing. I had two healthy pregnancies with this clinic, and the doctors/ nurses were GREAT.But the experience with the receptionist and billing department was extremely stressful. STAY AWAY from this clinic. IVF itself is very stressful. You shouldn’t have to go through another stress with unprofessional staff and unclear billing. I would never recommend this clinic even after two healthy pregnancies.Additional info: after spending 10+hours over the phone with the billing department and talking to multiple supervisors for months, they finally admitted that they made a mistake, and we are getting a refund for over $2,400. Request an itemized ledger and go through all charges line by line!!!

I cant say enough about the team at Advanced Fertility of Chicago. After working with them for 9 months, we are 14 weeks pregnant. A couple of things to understand before you go - it is a busy place and there are a lot of patients. So they are quick and sometimes you will take your time there, and sometimes you are in and out. The important thing to remember is that the team - Dr. C, her nurses, her ultrasound techs, her blood team, etc - they are all lovely and will take the time to explain, go out of there way and return late calls and concerns. Shout out to: Kathy, Rosa, Marie, Christine - true angels. My future baby boy is only due to you all.

Despite its reputation, it has been a horrible experience. There was no explanation about what cant and can be done during the stimulation process, nurses ran the show and they are clearly understaffed so they rush you. They just tell you to the watch the videos. I asked a question about how to do a certain medication because the emergency nurse adviced me to do so and the nurse told me she was too far behind and had other patients waiting, despite me waiting for over an hour after my appointment time. Dont waste your time. Super unorganized.

We went for initial consultation which consisted of an ultrasound to see where I stand and semen analysis for my husband. Without any form of consent or approval, they proceeded to send my husbands sample for genetic testing. This makes absolutely ZERO sense this being our initial appointments.My ultrasound was fine. Nobody said anything to my husband other than instructions on providing a sample. During the 15 minute consultation that I had, was told that we would need to get the results from his analysis before determining next steps. The doctor briefly went over IUI and IVF, but again said that we needed to wait on the analysis results before a next step. Upon receiving the bill we were charged for a 45-59 minute consultation which was about $700. We received a bill from the lab for $250 for the premature, and unapproved genetic testing.There will be no next steps with this company and I would strongly advise you use any of the other facilities in Chicagoland. For a first experience, this was pretty awful.

After waiting for 3 months for my online appointment, they called me 2 minutes before the appointment time, to tell me that my insurance actually doesnt cover their services, and i will need to pay for the consult. Of course the consult wasnt cheap and it was also an online consult, so its not like she could really consult me.. So I refused, I didnt want to take a decision under pressure, and play their game. What was the point in paying for this online consult if my insurance didnt cover the treatment after? I would not recomend them, poorly organized and no scruples.

Dr Irani is amazing and thanks to him I have my baby boy. Now after 2 years we are trying for baby number 2 and this time around our experience has not been pleasant. The front desk lady Annette is the most unprofessional and rude person in that office. Appointment are always running late. I did not feel the care I received was personalized to my needs I just felt like another $$$.

Warning: Avoid this place at all costs, because it will cost you alot.We went to this place to help us get pregnant and we had multiple financial consultations with them. I said I wanted to know, prior to any procedure, how much we were going to be charged because I didnt want any surprise bills. We are not weathy, we had a budget and we couldnt afford any more than that. They also told us that we had great insurance coverage. We had the procedures done, paid the copays. I thought that was it. 9 months later I get a bill for 8 thousand dollars! Apparantly they are not even in my insurances network! This was after they told me what the cost of each procedure will be and assured me my insurance would cover everything else. What a surprise! I called my insurance about the surprise bill and they told me I actually am responsible for $10000 more than that!So this is a warning to anyone that will read it, avoid this place at all costs.

Very happy. Caring and attentive staff. The doctor did a great job, explaining the procedure and how realistic our chances were of conceiving. My nurse always answered my questions promptly when I emailed her. We did IVF with genetic testing and now have a healthy baby boy.

An absolute joke of a facility!I waited 2 months for this appointment only to find out I wasted a day of PTO just to be told they canceled it because my forms werent complete. But guess what!!!! They saw the forms and they were completed weeks ago! They give me a number to speak to their call center manager.... the incompetent receptionist gave me my wifes number instead. Once again its a joke of a facility! Do not go here!

I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience at AFCC. Dr. Irani and team are wonderful medical professionals and very caring people. Dr. Irani is a kind and compassionate doctor who aims to make sure his patients understand all treatments. He has for me personally been a great listener to understand my goals and has tailored plans to meet my needs. He has gone out of his way to call me after normal practice hours for questions and concerns. The nursing and office staff has also been extremely helpful in chasing down solutions and supporting communication with my treatment. Yes, this practice is very busy due to high demand (and working 7 days a week including many holidays!), but I have never felt just like a number. The team does the best they can to provide high quality care to as many patients as possible. When in doubt, dont forget to advocate for yourself and realize your health is yours to own.

Was recommended to me by a friend….unfortunately I had a horrible experience. After 7 rounds of failed IVF cycles I received bills in sept for my JANUARY cycle that was completely different from my insurance company’s. Also before one of my rounds I was slipped a post-it note by the receptionist requesting $18,000 at my baseline appointment for my out of pocket costs after submitting BOTH of my insurance cards. Incompetent billing and staff. Members of the staff …Do not stress during IVF but request large quantities of money from patient that are incorrect. Infertility sucks…let’s add additional stress by using advanced fertility of Chicago

Dr. Reshef made this process easy and showed he truly cares about his patients. He included us in every decision and gave us our options in clear easy to understand terms. This is not an easy process to go through but even after our first visit I felt very comfortable and confident in AFCC to help us on our journey.

Dr. Catenacci and the medical imaging staff are very professional here. They are the only reason I give this review 2 stars. Just be prepared to be overcharged for services by this clinic, knowing the entire reasoning for seeking fertility help isnt already stressful enough. For one day, I was charged almost $2k. Luckily I have BCBS. AFC sent me a bill, said it was the final bill, I asked for a confirmation from their billing dept that there were no other outstanding or pending claims (I even confirmed it with BCBS), they said that is the final bill, a written agreement was made, that I signed from them and I made my payments as promised. So another claim magically pops up, months later and I get another bill. After 8 months of disputes, with no call back from them, even though they said I will get a call from them. Most hospitals and clinics would write-off amounts under $50.But not this company. They have ZERO integrity.

I do not typically write reviews very often, but this was an exceptionally terrible experience that I would never wish upon even my worst enemy. My husband and I were scheduled for a new consultation appointment along with an ultrasound, which had to be scheduled a couple months out due to both of us having to take off of work. We drove 2.5 hours one way for our scheduled appointment. The ultrasound went as planned, and then commenced the waiting. Our appointment was at 1:30 P.M. By 2 P.M., my husband and I were wondering what was going on...I was not too frustrated at this point. I work in healthcare and understand that things happen and run behind. What was inexcusable was the front desk staff who were sharing inside jokes, opening up Amazon packages, and did not even mention what was going on until 215, 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. We were told the doctor was running behind in procedures and it should be another 30 minutes or did we want to re-schedule? (No. We drove 2.5 hours to get here). 315 roles around, and my husband and I are still waiting...still no update from ANYONE. Finally, I walk up to the front, and they say they dont know how much longer it will take, but they can offer me an online visit the same evening. We leave the clinic fuming, and get a call 15 minutes later stating that the doctor cannot do the consultation that evening, can we reschedule. I was later contacted by the doctor we were supposed to see, who apologized for the scheduling snaffoo, stating she was booked for 16 procedures that day (!?!?) Which seems absolutely insane to me. I was also told that I was billed the day of the procedure for the ultrasound, and then get a check in the mail for $250 for the ultrasound. I called, and they did not bill me originally, so sent the check in the mail. Since sending the check in, I have received THREE voicemails on my phone requesting payment for the ultrasound that I still do not know the results to and have absolutely no plans whatsoever to seek care here. I find it so ironic that the staff are VERY attentive to collecting payment when they definitely 100% cannot hold up their end of providing any kind of patient care. If not for the other patient reviews, I would have serious suspicions of this being a scam and would be contacting the BBB.

We just visited Dr. Irani’s office last week. The overall experience was good. It was our first visit, so we brought a lot of questions with us. Dr. Irani answered our questions patiently and gave us the all the information we need. He also explained the different plans to us. My husband and I felt comfortable to talk to him and decided to follow the plan he suggested.Ratings:Office environment:4/5. The office building looks old but office looks cozy. Easy to park. They have a parking lot.Service: 3.8/5. I did ultrasound during my first visit. The nurse was young, she was gentle, no discomfort during the ultrasound.Consultant service: 4.5/5. Dr. Irani explained everything very well. I had really bad experience with other fertility doctor before, so I was nervous about the this consultation. Fortunately, Dr.Irani was nice and tell me the issues directly. I feel more comfortable to talk to him about my health issues and concerns.

This review is NOT a reflection of Dr. Irani. Dr. Irani is wonderful and is an expert in his field - however, he is at the mercy of his staff. I should also mention Im typically patient and empathetic towards medical professionals considering how much they deal with daily. I also never leave reviews. However, I think if a couple is about to endure this messy, emotional, rollercoaster ride called a fertility journey, then its important to read this.I cannot begin to describe or articulate the number of times things have been miscommunicated or NOT communicated to my husband and me over the last six months. The first red flags were noticed in our second month but we decided to continue our journey with AFCC because of all the positive reviews. We never heard back on some results and never received an interpretation of the test results. Also, the waiting room has increasingly become jam-packed with people, and while that is a testament to the number of people trusting Dr. Irani, I agree with a reviewer who stated that it felt like a sweatshop. There is no personal connection or care you feel about this place. Fertility journeys are vulnerable experiences, and its weird to feel like a statistic at this facility. You do not get your nurse/care team like other fertility centers, and you will communicate with different nurses every time youre on the phone with someone. With information, we dealt with inconsistency after inconsistency. So we recently decided to continue our fertility journey elsewhere and feel great about our decision. I hope this place gets whipped into shape soon because their patient communication and customer service are abysmal. In this day in age, there is no excuse for it.

Since our first consultation with Dr. Irani last year, our journey with IVF has been flawless. He has wonderful beside manner and is so thorough in explaining everything. He listened to our concerns and gave us so much hope that we decided to move forward with IVF in no time. From the very beginning, he has done everything smoothly and with so much kindness. He even called us personally a few times to let us know results. The staff is so wonderful too; Diana, Denise, and Christine were so great and prompt in getting back to me after each appointment and/or if I had any messages sent in the portal. My husband and I are now expecting twins this fall and I cannot thank Dr. Irani and his team enough for everything they have done for us in the past few months. I will miss them so much!! I did a lot of research before choosing a fertility clinic. I heavily researched the SART data and found this clinic to be the best fit for me. Upon meeting the staff, it was clear this was the place for me. I was assigned nurse Ashley and she has been amazing. Also, nurse Cathy at the Gurnee office is one of the most kind and compassionate nurses I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. My main RE is Dr. Schell. I find Dr Schell to be caring and compassionate and extremely easy to communicate with. She truly cares and has spent a lot of time getting to know my husband and I. I have also worked with Dr. Irani. I have found him to be very knowledgeable and he has great bedside manner. I felt a great deal of support in his care as well.Overall, I have found all of the staff here to be very supportive and kind as well as responsive to questions and requests.

Dr. Irani is a brilliant physician and the most compassionate I have ever known. He listened intently to many a tearful question/concern and was so generous with his time, always an email or call away. He has a wonderfully gentle bedside manner and knew my medical history front to back from our first consult. It it obvious how deeply he cares for his patients and how passionate he is about reproductive endocrinology, a field in which he is a true expert. We are so grateful to have found him!

This place was terrible to work with. They have an outsourced call center handle their new appointments so it took forever to schedule my initial tests. They weren’t clear on what paperwork needed to be filled out ahead of time so they ended up canceling my first appt with the doctor and then it took a long time to schedule the second appointment. When I met with the doctor, her words were matter-of-fact (which I appreciated) but lacked empathy (for very tough news). And after I paid the $100 for the initial tests in-person (because they don’t accept insurance for those, which I still don’t understand ), I got a second bill for $450. When I called to ask why, they said it was because not many of the people who get tests there become a patient so they had accidentally started two charts for me - and they would work to resolve it. Which I’m glad they’re working on (results TBD, haven’t heard back yet), but what if I had just thought I had to pay it and never called? I am not surprised that people don’t end up becoming patients after their tests. The actual process of the test itself was fine - but everything around it was a terrible experience. I kept thinking it would get better at some point because of how well it’s rated, but it absolutely did not.

Highly recommend! My husband and I had the best experience possible. Having to go through IVF is difficult and stressful, but all the Drs and nurses are the absolute best. I always felt comfortable and any question( no matter how silly) they answered it with no judgment. I usually go to the Crystal Lake office for labs and ultrasounds and Ashley the nurse who runs the office is wonderful. Shes so sweet and very helpful. I had Dr.Irani and he was wonderful too. Sometimes its hard to find good Drs and ones who make you feel good when youre going through difficult situations. Being infertile or having fertility issues is hard and can be sad, but advanced fertility made me feel confident and really put my mind at ease. Easily 10/10!

Only had the initial consult so far. And so far, so good. Will update accordingly after more information/service is provided. The only star missing is for being almost 30 min late and having no apology.Update: changed to 5 stars. Overall, understanding and wonderful to work with on such a sensitive journey. Fortunate enough to no longer be needing their assistance. There are some billing and time issues to deal with, but I feel like thats pretty standard everywhere.

Dr. Irani was pleasant, but the office staff are rude and unaccommodating. Once they receive your $400 non-refundable fee, they send you a 1-hour module/training that you must partake in, which details any and all side effects that could potentially happen pre-, during, and post-pregnancy, which is sure to scare many away. I called the day after I did the module training and was told I would receive my $400 payment back. The office then ignored the many emails that I send (via their portal - which is a TERRIBLE way of communication, as they do not send anything to your personal email so you have to login every time, and there isnt a reply button so you have to write a new email every time as well.) The woman who called me yesterday to finally send me the breakdown of the additional $72.85 I was requested to pay (even though I only received a $25.00 bill in my mailbox from their company) was impolite and not helpful. She FINALLY uploaded the $72.85 bill yesterday - I paid it today. I would not do business with this company again. Dr. Irani was VERY nice. He seemed like he wanted to help in any way that he could, but the office personnel was, by far, the worst Ive seen. I am in sales for a company that employs over 85,000 people, and I spend a great deal of time with customer service representatives, with MANY different personalities, but this office could use some new people in it if this doctor plans to stay in business.

Dr. Catenacci is amazing! So professional and polite, very down to earth and makes you feel very much at ease. All of the nurses both the Gurnee and Crystal Lake location are wonderful as well, they make you feel like family and not just a patient. Couldnt be happier with the whole experience, from start to finish.

From beginning to end, I had a wonderful experience here with everyone on staff. They were extremely friendly, understanding, flexible, and sensitive to any issues I had. Infertility is hard, but Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago made it easier to navigate, and Im thrilled to be expecting our first child in January. Im eternally grateful that we went to this clinic.

Came in for an ultrasound and a consultation on egg preservation/freezing. The ultrasound was quick and painless, and I appreciated that the room was freezing cold like other doctor’s offices I’ve been in. Dr. Iraní was very patient and gave lots of good information along with clear next steps for my specific situation. I felt very comfortable there and feel confident with both Dr. Iraní and the clinic.

My husband and myself just had our consultation with Dr. Mohamad Irani this morning. Dr.Irani was easy to talk to answered all our questions even the ones we didnt know we had. He made us feel very comfortable. I feel we are in great hands. I wasnt rushed into making any decisions at the moment and he let us know what options we had and our next steps. Im looking forward to our journey 😊

Highly disappointed with the staff and nurses at AFCC. They tell you that they will have someone call back but no one ever calls you back. Nurses leaves voicemails with information and then when you call back the available nurse gives you contradicting information, this so much stressful for the patient. Nurses working from home when they return your call, answers you as if their work at home is more important than the questions you have for them. I really want people to know what they are going into when they choose this place. I found one more review which similar concerns as mine.

Dr. Irani was the first good experience that we have had in our infertility journey. He was so kind, explained everything to us, was so hopeful and even made us laugh. He answered any questions we had and gave us a game plan for our next steps for the first time since we started trying to conceive 2.5 years ago. He was so lighthearted and reminded us to stay positive. Such an amazing experience that we are grateful to have had

Dr. Irani is brilliant! He is knowledgeable, gave us great insight into our next steps, and had a great sense of humor. Thankfully we got an appointment from the staff in 2 weeks because of a cancelled appointment. He and the doctors are booked but it says a lot. Thank you Dr. Irani and staff!

We switched to this IVF center, after the one we were at was not making any progress and couldn’t give us any answers. Dr. Irani took us in right away and gave us a roadmap to help us with our male infertility issues. He used all the information that we already had from our last doctor, so we didn’t have to start all over. Within 2 months, he performed a successful egg retrieval on my wife. 1 week later, Dr. Catenacci performed our fresh embryo transfer and it was successful! We now have a beautiful/healthy baby boy and 3 frozen embryos! I know that infertility is a stressful situation, but you need to be patient and trust this team to get back to you with the right information/answers. They want exactly what you do

Dr. Irani and the nursing staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate and seem to really get to know their patients. I have been very pleased with the treatment I have received at both this location and the Gurnee (main office) location & look forward to continuing on my fertility journey with the team at AFCC. Dr. Irani really goes above and beyond to explain his recommendations for treatment and has even called me on a Saturday with test/procedure results!There are a few areas where I feel AFCC could improve their processes: #1 - Guidance for new patients/those new to fertility treatments. As a person who likes to have as much information as possible and be walked through processes step-by-step I feel they could benefit from a new patient coordinator (or similar) to walk new patients through the ropes.#2 - Patient Portal. The current patient portal utilized by AFCC (eIVF) is basically a dumpster fire. Nothing ever works, the user interface is horrible, the app is ever worse, and the messaging functionality is rudimentary. Thankfully I have not had to rely on it for much information.#3 - Billing & Financial Transparency. There have been numerous times when I have come in for an appointment and have been notified by the receptionist that I have an outstanding balance of which I was not aware. I have been a patient of AFCC for 5 months and have received exactly 2 bills in the mail despite having had several major procedures. The billing cycle doesnt seem to be very organized or consistent. It would also be very helpful to somehow communicate the estimated cost of tests/procedures to patients beforehand. This could be a phone call, or some type of checklist on the patient portal specific to a patients financial circumstances (self pay vs. insurance, etc.)Overall I am very satisfied with the care I have received from AFCC, but I think as their business grows it would be helpful to implement some additional procedures and patient support measures.

Run. Lack of care, process and transparency. Rude staff at the front desk. Fraudulent billing practices. The only reason they gained reputation is because of a doctor that was on staff and he’s left in June.

Dr. Irani was so attentive during our journey. He personally made necessary changes he believed would yield the best results...and it worked! I’m 2 months pregnant!!!! The entire staff is extremely caring and welcoming. Big shout out to Diane and Katrina!!! Thank you so much everyone for everything you did for us.

This place is a fertility sweatshop. No personalization, no communication and all staff we interacted with were apathetic. Dont expect to receive a customized plan to fit your partners needs. My wife had medical history that warranted a tailored plan. They were aware of this. They completely messed up and gave her the normal dosage of pills during our IUI cycle....Were upset because of the lack of attention to detail, the lack of professionalism and the lack of communication. These things are vital when dealing with couples and people in general in such vulnerable positions. Were upset and emotional that a canceled cycle couldve been avoided; were upset and emotional that someone from the facility gave us false hope that the cycle didnt have to be canceled. Were upset that after their egregious mistake no one apologized. We put trust in people who cant begin to understand our vulnerable position and how much it hurts to have to depend on so-called professionals to provide empathy and care to help us conceive. You chose this job: you chose to help people in our position. Do your job and help us, as opposed to making us feel anger and regret.

Loved the staff and nurses! They’re easy to get along with and things aren’t awkward. Dr. Irani was great and explained everything well. It’s nice having a say in the process and how quickly he got everything moving!

Everyone here is amazing!! From the front desk to the nurses and the DRs. The attention and care they give to each client makes you feel safe and taken care of. One of the best decisions we made in our journey to start a family was to come here.

We were at a place where we weren’t sure what our next steps would be after multiple failed attempts and multiple pregnancy losses. Dr. Irani was very positive while being real with us and gave us the little glimpse of hope we needed to keep trying. We just welcomed our two miracle rainbow babies thanks to Dr. Irani and his team who walked us through each and every step of IVF and helped us understand everything we had to go through! We are beyond grateful for Dr. Irani and his belief in us and his guidance!

Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago feels like a family fully invested in your happiness and success. It must be in their interview process because everyone cares so much! They are super responsive and work with urgency and intent. Dr. Catenacci is not only an amazing doctor from a scientific, (specific to the smallest mL or mg of adjustment perspective), but she is also very caring! Their success rates are fantastic because of their attention to detail and the love and care they put into each patient. I highly recommend Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago!

I see some negative comments from several years ago, but I think they changed their policies within the past year or so. I had a great experience with this fertility clinic. Whenever I asked to see my records, they emailed it to me within a day; if I had any questions, a doctor or nurse called me back within 24 hours; the nurses (shoutouts to Mary & Christine) were very good at drawing blood from my tiny, hidden veins; and best of all, my PPO insurance covered everything 100%. I also liked how the clinic was open on weekends for bloodwork/ultrasounds.I have been to 3 other fertility clinics and think that this one was the best. Dr. Irani was very straight-forward and comforting--he always listened to how I wanted to proceed with everything. He never tried to sell freezing embryos to me; in fact, he never even pushed IVF--I told him I wanted to conceive naturally with extra bloodwork (to check my levels) and ultrasounds and thats exactly what we did every month. This was the first fertility clinic that was able to correctly diagnose and correct my fertility issues and Im now 8 weeks pregnant!!! Even after my pregnancy was first confirmed, they had me come in every week for bloodwork and recently, ultrasounds, to reassure me that the baby was doing ok. They told me to come in anytime before 12 weeks for an ultrasound whenever I felt anxious. With the pandemic going on, my OB told me that our first visit would be at 11 weeks after a confirmed pregnancy, so it was nice to know that I could get frequent tests done at Advanced Fertility during my first trimester.

This is the most disrespectful place ever!!!! I have emailed and called multiple times to schedule an appointment however the associate Melanie has not yet responded. The very moment she did was to ask about money! And still no info about any appointments! Absolutely disgusting place and i never want anyone to go here. Do not waste your money on such disrespectful staff and company.

Very welcoming staff! I was not just a number, I was treated like family! My gyno had recommended I go to a fertility clinic as I was over 40 and should have eggs tested in case I needed any help, but everything checked out great! The nursing staff is excellent (especially Diane and Renalda and Sania). Dr. Catanacci is easy to talk to and a warm person. I highly recommend this facility in every facet!

This office and it’s staff are amazing! Nurses Diane, Renalda and Michelle are all so nice and attentive. Sania who does ultrasounds is also great and of course Dr. Catenacci is fantastic. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone with fertility needs. They all truly work as a team and make you feel includedon it. Your loss is their loss. Your success is their success. Unfortunately I was never able to get an appointment here. I first called on 4/6/21 requesting an initial consult appointment. I was told their May schedule wasn’t available yet, but it would be in a few days and to leave my name and number. I called back the next day, same response and I left my name and number again. I called back on 4/12/21 and was told they were then switching computer systems and they couldn’t schedule anything, but it would be up and running in a few days, left my name and number. I called back on 4/15/21 and was told the same thing, left my name and number. Called back on 4/21/21 and was told the system was fixed, but no one was available to help me and I could leave my name and number. I called a total of five times, left my name and number four times, and never received a call back. I’m still waiting for that call back. We have decided to go with a more responsive clinic.

Dr. Irani is thorough, empathetic, well-educated and loves to share that knowledge. Further, we were impressed with his inclusion of my husband as part of the process, which is NOT something we felt with two of the three other fertility clinics we went to prior to Advanced Fertility Centers. Dr. Irani went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions! He did a pap for me when I couldnt get into my OBGYN in time, so as not to delay the IVF process, and he remained available by email for any questions along the way. I would choose this clinic, under Dr. Irani, again in a heartbeat. He gave us TWO extra heartbeats afterall :)

Five star and nothing less.I came to Advanced fertility after a poor experience and results at IHR. The staff, bamely Diane and Ronalda, took me in and stood by me theough the entire process. Dr Sherbahn and Dr Irani provided me first rate treatment and we are now 13 weeks pregnant.What stood out for me is:- you get 100% attention. The nurses know your plan better than you and keep you on track- the staff deeply care for your well being and success. They are invested in you and show that with their promptness, immediate call backs, and solutions. I was freaked out about the IM progesterone injections and the nurses offered to do it for me every day. Diane even met me at the office during a Holiday to make sure I dont miss a shot- I got immediate appointments each time I had a scare moment with early pregnancySo thankful and greatful to the doctors and the overall treatment. I highly recommend this team!

I can not thank Dr.C enough. This clinic has been nothing but truly amazing to me and my husband.I went through an IVF a year ago after 2 IUI that did not succeed and was blessed with a baby boy.The entire team of nurses is so patient and encouraging. Every step and the every procedure was explained to me so well.I will be definitely going back in a couple of years to them. Thank you again ❤️

Customer service was terrible. They never answered the phone. I tried to get an idea of what would be discussed during my initial consultation (for egg freezing), and had to call to get this. I left a voicemail with the question and they called me and said that a different team had those answers, so I had to leave another voicemail and they never called me back. From this experience, I canceled my appointment and did not go further into the process.

I’ve met and had procedures hysteroscopy done by Irani is my main doctor. Dr. Irani is extremely thorough.Irani is very calm. He will answer all your questions and what ever confusion you have will clear that. And I would say Dr. Irani is the best doctor you won’t regret.

I wish I could give Dr. Irani ten stars! He has made this terrifying, difficult process so wonderful for us. He is compassionate, intelligent, and truly cares about each and every patient. You are in wonderful hands with Dr. Irani!

I love Dr. C and all of the nurses at AFCC. I haven’t gone there for over three years (I got pregnant with twins thanks to AFCC in 2018). I am once again back hopeful for a FET cycle. Everyone remembers me by name and are like family.

Soo much miscommunication the Dr Irani’s nurses dont know what they are saying every nurse explain the instructions and information differently which it’s soo stressful and confusing not knowing where we are starting I had an ultrasound sounds for ivf and they didn’t explain that I had to take birth control before starting the process they didn’t explain anything and I didn’t get prescribed any birth control I even asked why didn’t they tell me to call on the first day of my period to start the birth control pills then they have me wait till next menstrual cycle and call them to start birth control so I did now they said I don’t need to take anymore birth control just come in the next day which that’s last minute I’m not close to the clinic I’m an hour away and I have other important plans next day. I tried yo explain to the nurse they’re aren’t being helpful every nurse is giving different information they need to be more clear with information and steps in the messages. I had Ivf at other clinics out of Illinois which was in Wisconsin but I only went with advanced Fertility because my insurance only cover for Illinois not Wisconsin and I spent $4000 in medication and still paying bills I wouldn’t want to proceed Ivf process with them because they don’t seem to know what they are doing and saying and if I continue with their horrible service I still need to pay $3,500 after the egg retrieval!!!! So if they don’t even know what they’re saying and doing I don’t want to continue with them they are too much stress making me more anxious and worried. I rather save my $3,500 and not spend more for them and not for my ivf I was hoping to do Ivf but I had BAD SERVICE FROM THEIR CLINICS.

I paid $2285.25 for consult, lab work and ultrasound only to find out that my age is too high while AFC and AMH is too low for them to accept me as a patient unless I want to try donor eggs, which Im not interested. If age, AFC and AMH are the qualifiers for them to accept patients, why make us spent that much money for tests that is unnecessary? All other tests came back within the normal range. Ive done AMH test for less than a hundred dollars and AFC transviginal ultrasound for less than two hundred dollars. A visit that should cost a few hundred dollars became a few thousand dollars! The rest of the tests if done at my local clinic would have cost significantly lower. Going through infertility and paying everything out of pocket is stressful enough, I wished they didnt make us do and pay for all the unnecessary tests to determine our candidacy as their patients. This could have been money that could go towards paying for the real expensive infertility treatment. If I knew that they were going to make us pay them so much money to screen us, I would NOT have visited them in the first place.

AFCC is awesome! We had 3 failed IVF attempts at another clinic and we are currently 30 weeks pregnant with our baby girl after the first attempt at AFCC. A huge thank you to Dr. Catenacci and ALL the staff, we couldnt be happier and we recommend this place to everybody :)

Thanks to Dr. Irani and his team I am excepting my baby in March. For those that are in doubt of ever becoming parents I would like to say... Dont give up, trust the process and Expect To Expect :)

Very happy with Advanced Fertiility Center of Chicago. The staff here is great especially Nurse Renalda. She is wonderful at what she does and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable with the entire process. This can be a stressful time when doing fertility treatments and having a Nurse like Renalda really helps ease the stress. Thank you to all the staff!

I got my miracle baby after one fresh IVF transfer. This place is simply amazing. Kathy, Deena, and Amity were fabulous nurses.

From the moment I walked in they thought I was there for an interview and I told them I was there to donate. They judged me based on looks alone and told me I wasn’t qualified to donate before even taking blood! I have since donated with a different clinic and had a very rewarding experience. Steer clear as they seemed to be very racist and judgmental and rude!

I had called the ofice on central ave for over month and half and Schedule appointment and asked if they take Medicaid and they called me two days before the appointment to confirm it the day of the Appointment they told me they dont take Medicaid that I have to pay 550 for the first appointment they are the worst

Dr. Schell explained everything very thoroughly and answered any questions we had about IVF. She was very personable and I felt comfortable to express any concerns that I might have.

I had a pleasant ivf experience at this clinic with Dr. Irani and Nurse Christine Lord. From the very beginning, I knew was at the right place. It was my first ivf experience and it was a very successful one. I can’t recommend this clinic enough.

The lady that answered the phone this morning I believe name was Trish was really rude. I asked a simply question if they store frozen embryos and she acts as if she has never heard of that. It’s like come on. Be professional, your JOB and reputation rely on it.

Taking treatment from here right now,I cant say enough of good things about nurse (Camila )because she is so gentle lady I have ever met in the hospital and this is my second cycle at the hospital and I feel so comfortable when she is around for any ultrasound or operation due her soft nature and care I feel like home.I feel there would be more nurses like her then patients like me who are sensitive would feel comfortable.treatment
