I cut my finger with a knife while washing dishes. Im very grateful for how the women that stitched me up helped me through my anxiety. I was very anxious about getting stitches and she helped me out my distracting my mind with math problems. Best service ever. She was very nice and understanding.
Made an appointment and filled out paperwork online prior to arrival. Got checked in and seen rather quickly. The reason for my visit was adequately addressed and I was given a prescription for antibiotics. All in all, a pleasant visit under the circumstances. Everyone was courteous, efficient, and helpful. Id certainly go back.
Everyone was so kind and patient! I waited like 1.5 hours, but I feel like that happens at every urgent care/emergency room type place. I didn’t catch the lady at the front desk or the guy that did my blood pressure and stuff’s name, but they were both very wonderful. Jasmine the PA was also a queen! She was very lovely, quick, and had a great attitude. I definitely recommend NextCare Urgent Care on 6th St.
I went in for a severe case of food poisoning. I hadnt eaten anything solid in 4 days and could hardly drink any fluids. I was so weak and dehydrated. They didnt even take my temperature when they called me back. The DR never physically put her hands on me to check me! She just told me food poisoning can take up to a week before our body starts to heal. I was in and out in about 15 minutes! I will NEVER go to Urgent Care again! My co worker warned me about going there! Boy I should have listened! This place is actually a joke!
We had outstanding care when I took my twin-toddlers. From the receptionist, to the nurse, to the provider. It was quick and thorough care. I would absolutely recommend this urgent care and will be using it again if the needs arise.
I had a very pleasant experience both times I was seen. The staff were polite and friendly on both occasions. The second visit was a virtual one, in which the doctor was willing to hear me out and listened to my problems and provided the best solution needed.
Walked in, so we knew the wait was likely. The check-in desk was great, the nurse was fabulous, the office was nice... But the PA was pretty impatient with my son. He couldnt flatten his tongue when she tried to see his tonsils. She got snappish with him, and I interjected and said he wasnt trying to make it hard for her. She seemed to calm down after that, but she didnt seem in the frame of mind to deal with patients. She was pretty condescending with me too. Upshot: Poor kid feels miserable, waits 2 hours and has to deal with that. If you cant put up with patients, maybe find a job in research?
I seem to be a medical tragedy. I’ve been to more than my fair share of doctors offices, hospitals, and Urgent Cares. I was very scared to go to this one because my last two experiences at an urgent care were horrible. I’m clarifying those experiences were NOT here. I had a very wonderful experience today. PA Victoria was so kind and listened to all of my concerns. The nurse/tech who took my vitals was so unbelievably kind too. I wish I would have got his name, but he had darker hair and a soft voice. I was a hot mess today and I never once felt judged by anyone here. The front desk receptionist was also very kind and very knowledgeable. I didn’t get her name either, but she had long blonde hair and acrylic nails! I had some minor issues regarding my insurance and she explained everything in great detail so I understood what was going on.
Don’t go here. Waited an hour after my appointment before being seen. Went in with swollen tonsils, they tested for strep which they said was negative. Prescribed me amoxicillin and sent me on the way. I came 2 days later with concerns that my condition was only getting worse and more painful. Waited another hour after my scheduled appointment only to have a 5 minute conversation where Dr Kelly told me it was viral and that I’d have to wait a month for it to clear up. 2 days later in horrible pain barely able to talk I went to a different clinic and it was strep throat. I was prescribed a different medication and it immediately started to clear up. Dr Kelly won’t listen to your concerns, they don’t care about anything but your money and getting you out the door.
I had a skin infection that was worsening and I knew I would need an antibiotic. I walked right in, went straight back, the infection was examined, and antibiotics were sent straight over to the pharmacy. It was the quickest and easiest experience I’ve ever had with an urgent care! I will definitely return to this location.
I made an appointment because I was having very bad issues with my asthma. The office lady and the nurse were great and friendly, but the doctor was horrible!!! I definitely dont recommend this place! Wish I would have had a better experience!
Registration took longer than the actual visit. Dr Victoria did nothing. Looked at my son said it’s a virus. He went to the ER and had pneumonia! Horrible service
I’m really grateful for such a quick and easy check-in appointment. Throughout the whole process I was cared for. My PA was not only efficient but also super nice and informative. I highly recommend this place.
I need to preface this scathing review by saying that all the employees here are incredibly nice, respectful, and friendly. that being said, this place absolutely sucks. without a doubt the worst urgent care i have ever been to, and possibly the worst business establishment in all of recorded human history. i have been waiting for more than two hours for a pre-scheduled appointment. that’s beyond absurd. this is not the fault of the employees themselves; they have been very nice and professional. this is entirely the fault of nextcare overscheduling. nearly all healthcare providers in america are awful profit-focused institutions that show a blatant disregard for their patrons and center their attention solely on lining the pockets of their greasy shareholders, but nextcare is by fair the worst one i have personally experienced. the whole point of urgent care and the justification for paying a premium for its services (as compared to a general provider) is that patients are seen promptly. nextcare is apathetic at best towards the demand-side basis of their whole buisness model, and downright malicious at worst. to anyone considering using nextcare’s services: do not. you would be better off going to the chipotle down the street, sticking your head directly in the tortilla press, and leaving it there until you lose all brain function because that is exactly what you will want to do after leaving this place. a one star rating is not bad enough for this place. even a zero star rating would not adequately convey just how awful this place and company are. in fact, nextcare lawrence is an affront to the concept of reviewing things in general, as well as stars — both the shape itself, and the meaning they convey (and possibly stars as astronomical bodies, such as the sun). i am not a religious man, however i am planning to contact the heads of all major religious figures, such as pope francis (catholicism) and nle choppa (buddhism) to implore them to beg their congregations to pray to whatever higher power or deity they hold dearest for the complete and utter destruction of this unholy building. i am not doing this out of spite, nor a desire to get some sort of revenge on nextcare, but rather because if this establishment does not face the wrath of god i believe that all of their followers will lose all faith in their religion. no benevolent god would allow nextcare lawrence, something akin to a monument to satan himself, to exist. all the employees are lowkey chill as hell though, and accordingly they should all get raises.
Worst medical experience of my life. Filled out booking info in advance, scheduled appt, entered all ins info, and arrived 25 mins early only to be left in the waiting room for over an hour and then insulted by a non-doctor that she was the one with the medical degree. Money and time wasted. Will never go there again. Horrible place.
I came here while in horrible pain, barely even able to walk. I later found out I was suffering with a kidney stone. There were patients there sitting down but it didnt look urgent or immediate. They turned me down and told me they couldnt do anything for me. I was very unpleased by the service here.
Do NOT go to Nextcare! I went there terribly ill and PA Victoria ran no tests, made no referrals, was unconcerned and told me I had a virus and give it 7-10’days. The next night I was admitted through ER and in hospital 10 days, deathly ill. I would go to a vet before I’d go back to Nextcare. Had I waited 7-10 more days to recover from my “virus,” I would have been dead. True story supported by facts.
Dr Kelly was extremely miserable and unpleasant to work with. Her poor attitude and the poor service set the tone for the whole trip. She ordered I be away from work for 5 days in order to heal what she originally called a viral infection. When I brought in nonfmla leave paperwork she said I just had a viral soar throat, and acted as if nothing happened to me. Complete 360 from what I was originally told, not to mention I was in absolute excruciating pain. If you’re looking somewhere for good and caring treatment here would not be my recommendation!
This place is a total joke. Mis-diagnosed on multiple occasions. Bait and switch from an in-person medical professional to tele-health. Really, they need to be shut down for malpractice based on the lack of quality care, inability to properly diagnose and prescribe the correct medications. Additionally, front desk was snappy and rude. Will be filing a complaints with Kansas board of healing arts and also our health insurance
If I could give no star I would. This place is a freaking JOKE. Waited 45 min for them to even start to look at my paper work to check me in. I was self pay. They didn’t even know an exact price , went back asked a dr they didn’t even know a price of stitches. All I needed was a quick little 2 stitches . So I went to a different urgent care . What a waste of time. I could hear the dr and nurses back laughing the whole time. 4 people sitting in the waiting room and not one person back in the exam rooms . I’m a medical assistant at a DR office and let me tell you we don’t take a hour to check in . We see our pts quick and don’t leave them waiting . Horrible customer service. No wonder they don’t have even two stars. Every person I’ve heard of going here has had horrible experiences. You guys really need to learn patient care . And learn how to see patients quickly instead of making them wait 3 years to be seen . What an embarrassing place to call “urgent care “
Every experience Ive had with Victoria was not good. Shes never much help and acts like she hates her job.
Quite literally the WORST office I have ever been to. I made an appointment on the 21st to be seen on the 22nd. I show up and the office is closed. So I tried to make another appointment for the 23rd, and when I get there 20 minutes after open the lady said there are two people ahead of me. What was the point of making an appointment then?? Ended up waiting 20 mins after my appointment time and just left. Horrible.
Worst urgent care visit ever. Showed up and was the first person in line. The receptionist was listening to music and didn’t even say hello until I had been standing there for a minute. She asked if I had a scheduled appointment and since I didn’t I had to completely register myself. Once that was done while she sat on her phone I had to wait 10+ minutes to be “checked in” by her. Waited another 20 minutes to be seen only for the doctor not to even do any tests on one of the concerns I had which was a sore throat which lead to me being sick for over a week with an unknown illness since I was unwilling to return here. I also returned a couple of days later for a printed note for my job and the other receptionist also was horrible and told me my form had “just printed you’ll have to wait” with an attitude even though they called to say it was ready. This place does not care about the patients at all.
We scheduled an appointment for our sick 1 year old on a Sunday. We checked in on time and then waited over 45 minutes past our appointment time to actually get taken back for vitals and another 10minutes to be seen. There were only 3 other people in the waiting room when we arrived and they had a Doctor and Nurse Practitioner available to see patients. For 3 days, he was having wheezy breathing, coughing, congestion, fever around 102, not eating, and having a hard time sleeping. I also thought he may have been pulling at his ears but I couldn’t tell for sure. The APRN came in to see us and while she was very nice, she did not seem sure of her own knowledge. She checked his ears and said they were fine. Then listened to him breathing, and said, “I THINK it MIGHT be a LITTLE bronchitis. Let me go get meds to do an in office breathing treatment.” She came back about 5 minutes later and told me they were out of the medicine, so they couldn’t do the breathing treatment and then said, “He didn’t sound that bad, I THINK he will be fine. I don’t think it will turn into pneumonia. It should be getting better in a day or two.” Two days later he was still struggling with a fever and the other symptoms were all worse, so I scheduled an appointment with his pediatrician. Low and behold, it had turned into pneumonia, they had to do an in office breathing treatment, and gave him antibiotics. Unless there is no other options, I will not be returning to them.
I got up on Saturday (6/15) and booked an appointment for 8:40. I showed up the office to find no cars in the parking lot, no lights on, the door locked, and no indication of it being closed or why. The website also did not reflect that they were closed as it still let me book the appointment. I have had okay experiences here in the past, but after this, I will no longer be using their services.
The people who work there are kind and helpful but on 3 occasions over multiple months I have gone during their open hours-one of those times with a scheduled appointment-and they were closed every time! No one called to tell us they were closed and they are unreliable to be able to get care at. Their website doesn’t reflect if they close early so you have to drive over to find out if they are actually open or not. When you can get care, the care is good though.
My boyfriend made an appointment online and when he showed up the building was closed. We even tried calling and no one answered. If youre not going to be open at least have your website updated so people arent driving up there to a locked building.
I took my 13 yr old daughter here on Sunday. Scheduled an appt online same day, they text you a link to fill out the paper work prior to visit. Scheduled 1pm got in at 1pm. Quick great service would certainly go again.
The staff were super nice and they did their best to get me out of there quickly. I will return. I know the reviews are bad… I was worried… but they were awesome… and trust me, I’m very critical lol
Good people, Dr asked if I spent a lot of time outside so he could prescribe the correct antibiotics, I have always known that can be a issue but no doctors have never asked me except him, Highly recommend!
I checked in for a simple pre-employment physical at 4:38pm. The ENTIRE lobby passed over my spot in line, and I was the last patient to be pulled before they closed. According to their online queue, I was the next patient in line for an hour. However, every other patient that came after me passed me over. I was not pulled until 6:22pm and my assessment was not complete until 7:00pm.
Wish I could give it zero stars as I wasted a ton of time making the appointment, filling out the required paperwork and checking in only to find nobody was manning the office during my appointment time. I waited for someone to show up and called multiple times but nobody ever answered the call. Terribly way to treat a sick person. Based on the other reviews I see here, I am not sure why they just dont close this clinic. Seems like they do this to other potential patients. Do not waste you valuable time trying to get care here.
The worst urgent care ever. Saw my son, didn’t test him and deemed it viral. I told him to assess how long the doctor saw him. Less than two minutes and told him he that take ibuprofen. And then he walked out and the lobby was dark and the nurses had their purses on their shoulders. Now we know why he was rushed out. Filing a complaint.
Update your hours. I booked on line for a Sunday appointment only to find out when i got there that you are not open.
My daughter was seen for an ear infection. Waited two hours to be seen, doctor spent 30 seconds checking her said she was all clear. 24 hours later she was in the ER screaming in pain from her ear. She did have an ear infection, a big one and the doctor we saw on December 31st completely missed it.
I’ve been here twice in two weeks with sick kids. Both times I we were admitted as soon as I filled out the paper work. They were great with my kids. Had results back before I even left and had the kids on antibiotics within the hour.
I tried to get my daughter in to see a Dr. The women keyleigh at the front desk was so rude my daughter went outside to call me. She wouldnt go back inside because the women was so awful. I called the women to help my daughter out and she was rude to me told me she would talk to the patient. Then proceeded to lie to me telling me my daughter had came back in. My daughter just left and she has a terrible earache
This was the least helpful doctors appointment Ive ever had. I very obviously have pink eye. My boyfriend got it from work, and I got it from him. It got so bad that my eye was bleeding, and the infection didnt improve within 5 days. The doctor just looked at my eye with a light and did nothing else and said that it doesnt look like its contagious even though I caught it from someone else and didnt prescribe antibiotics even though it is severe and hasnt cleared up on its own at all. She just told me to use allergy eye drops. I have never had allergies. I have a bad eye infection that is making my eye bleed. She also said that I could immediately go back to my job where I work with young children, even though it is highly contagious. I went to PromptCare later today, and they asked me questions, listening to my concerns, looked at my eye more thoroughly, and diagnosed me with bacterial conjuntivitis (pink eye) and an eye hemorrhage. They gave me an entire pamphlet about the condition and prescribed me antibiotics. I will never be coming to NextCare again.
Charged me $50 co-pay and 9 minutes later I was out of there no better than I had come in & with an inhaler prescription she said might be a problem with my heart medication-well, then why would you prescribe that? I didnt bother to pick it up. I wouldve been better off just doing my own OTC medications to try to feel better as they had nothing to offer and I had to wait hours (at home, however) to finally get scene. I thought the place was closed-there wasnt one sign anywhere and no one there when I walked in anywhere-I shouldve just left then.
Front desk gal is very sweet and kind. She is helpful with any questions you may have regarding your pay for the visit (I have insurance). I heard her explain a plan to another patient who did not have insurance that Nextcare offers where you pay a monthly amount and that will cover anything and everything that is done in-house. I thought this was pretty cool that a urgent care offers a service such as this because getting care can be expensive no matter where you go. The triage staff was very kind and explained to me what testing was recommended based on my symptoms. The provider was quick and efficient also while listening to my concerns. I always choose to go here when I am unable to get in with my primary care. Thank you!
Absolutely horrible experience for my family. No in-house MD staff when we went in and their claims of having pediatric services is untrue. They did not have any pediatric services, tried to take vitals on our 1 year old with adult tools and traumatized our daughter. We will never go here again.
My son had an awful experience here. He went because he had a terrible sore throat. He got strep tested and it was negative and they sent another test off that was supposed to take 2 days. I called at day 2 and 3 and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. I finally stopped by on day 4 and it still wasn’t back (supposedly). The lady was rude and said she didn’t know why the answering service didn’t answer the phone for days and didn’t seem to care about her job at all. Finally on day 7, we heard back from them. Of course by then he was already able to get into our primary doctors office and got real care. So frustrating, the most worthless walk in clinic I’ve ever been to and they sent me a bill for $169! Please go to Promptcare or First Med, this place needs to be shut down.
Another urgent care is going to be better. Also be sure to check your insurance info - theyre labeled an urgent care but theyll charge it to you as an office visitI went in with some strange bumps and after I told the doctor about them, he just went and started grabbing at my wrist with his bare hands (and without sanitizing them) and started feeling on/around the bumps and then said they could spread by touch or scratching. So why touch them bare-handed?? It felt unsafe and a bit invasive. Additionally, what he told me it might be felt completely wrong, and when we asked questions he didnt fully answer them and gave a lot of uh yeah sometimes that could happen maybe type of responses - he didnt seem to like being asked questions. Very unhelpful. Then, I was given a vague prescription for his guess - which when we looked it up online, wouldve actually made the condition significantly worse. I was rushed out the door and dismissed to round it out.I paid at the front and was told that was it. SEVERAL months later I get an additional bill that basically said Im being charged for sitting in the lobby?tl;dr - Felt like a scam, doctor was invalidating and unsafe, and theyll bill you for extra for just taking up space.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked an 8am appointment on a Sunday morning. Arrived at 7:50. No one there. Finally at 8:30 a person came out and said they do not open until 9 and only for telehealth visits. This is unacceptable. Update your website to reflect this or at least leave a note on the door. I will never be back and will let others know how horrible this experience was.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Went in for an injury, got the basic advice to use ice and compression while I waited for x rays to come in. Was told I’d hear back “later today”. After 2 days, no answer. THERE IS ZERO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE OFFICE. NOT ONE SINGLE WAY. Both numbers they have listed go to a call center. This is THE SAME NUMBER they gave to the radiologists who performed my X-rays. I called about 20 times. I used two phones, one calling their 785 number and the other their 888 number. NOT ONE SINGLE CALL WAS ANSWERED BY A HUMAN BEING. After being on hold for 30min to an hour every single call, I finally went in to ask why I hadn’t heard back. They told me the radiologists hadn’t sent my X rays. When I contacted the radiologists, they said they couldn’t get in contact with the office for the exact same reason and that I would need another provider to refer me. HUGE waste of money and time. Still injured, still in increasing pain, and I hope that no one else has to go through this. Wish I would’ve just gone to the emergency room, at least I’d have some answers. HORRIBLE, money grabbing operation, uncaring, unsmiling staff who seem angry to be at work, and while we’re at it, an absolutely filthy bathroom. Don’t go here.
Dont go here. I went hours before they close. They tell me that online they have reservations and are completely booked. I told and showed them that their website says if there arent time slots available they will accept walk-ins until close. The rude girl just repeated (over and over) that only those with reservations would be seen first. I told her that was fine and I was willing to wait she told me I would not be seen. They also turned away a woman who probably had a broken foot because she didnt make a reservation online. Thats not how urgent care works! They didnt even give her directions to the hospital after she asked.
The customer service is terrible. The front desk staff was rude to not only myself but a fellow patient in front of me. The fact that the only provider they have doesnt even know its gender is troubling also. Hard to trust a medical provider as a professional if they dont even understand basic biology.
This place made me feel dirty.I dont feel like that often, Ive lived in dirty houses, I work in a dirty environment. But there was blood stains on the floor; urine cups out in the open for anyone to get their hands all over. Is that why all the employees are in hazmats and masks? Because you havent cleaned anything since the pandemic? The hospital is cleaner than this place. Also came in for an issue. They tested for one thing, told me it was negative, and sent me on my way. I still am dealing with symptoms. But no additional testing for anything. No advice on following up or what to do about symptoms. Told me it was because its been hot outside. All around bad experience
The website let me make an appointment, then when we came 3420 W 6th st is closed.Hours on the door said they are open today.Never come here again.
Listen to the other reviews about this place. You will have better luck with CVS Minute Clinic. NextCare doesnt perform any kind of tests and rather just sends you on your way. Ended up having covid. Thanks for taking my money...
So incredibly slow and inefficient. Took so long. Got there early for my appointment and sat there for an hour waiting. Staff definitely could have been nicer especially when it comes to sick patients. Would not recommend coming here
I went there suffering from flank pain and experiencing vaginal bleeding. They said their plan was to do a vaginal exam. After I explained to the nurse that I was trans and had undergone a vaginoplasty one year prior they refused to perform the exam. I left without complaint, though I was disappointed. The E.R. doctors that ended up treating me said there was no valid medical reason to refuse to provide this exam.
I would not recommend the Lawrence location. The intake nurse was very kind but the doctor spent less than 2 minutes with me, walked out without saying anything, and came back with a prescription that was not appropriate for my illness without any dialogue. This is the second experience that I have had exactly like this here. Dr. Barber should learn how to discuss care options with his patients instead of just prescribing z packs to everyone. The last time he saw me he prescribed me the same thing and when I followed up with my PCP they said that was a ridiculous prescription for my illness and they never would have prescribed it. I don’t often seek the internets opinion, but literally every site says the same. There are better options in Lawrence, don’t waste your time here just because they have the most comprehensive hours.
I had no problems getting in. Lady at front desk was very nice. Doctor was informative and gave me the appropriate prescription for my cough. Way better than going to the ER on a Sunday afternoon.
I had to make an urgent care trip to get stitches in my thumb and I was terrified. Everybody at this location was so welcoming and patient. I didn’t catch the name of the woman who checked me in, but she, kelly, and shannon were so kind!! I told them from the get go I was terrified of blood and they were very patient with me and made sure I didn’t have to see my wound. Special shout-out to kelly since she was the one that had to deal with me the most. Great people and great service :)
Really a bad experience, I paid for 157$ just to have them tell me to take a flonase and took a flu test! I seeing a doctor Im expecting they will give me a medicine. I having a hard cough, how do i get better. From now on i will stick to my tea with ginger. They dont itemize the bill just wrote down $157.00 amount. I dont know how much the copay and flu test.
So they’re apparently under new management/ownership. We arrived and checked in at 9:31am, got told to scan the barcode to do paperwork. I did, I asked how long approximately and she stated who knows, just depends. There were six people in front of me so we went back home and checked our queue through the app. We came back around 10:25 since there we’re only two people ahead of us. From there we’ve proceeded to wait and wait and wait. It’s been hours! And we tell them we need an X-ray, they come and get vitals and then make us wait more. Doctor comes in and we explain all over again and wait for her to order X-rays. Still waiting…. Hopefully X-rays will show something Bcs we’ve waited longer than at the ER. I don’t know if it’s short staffing or what. There are several employees, mostly sitting at computers. Efficiency is not their forte. If you come here, prepare to camp out and wait.
Disappointed. Came in with no voice. Having trouble swallowing. Pretty nasty cough. Mild fever. Was told they couldn’t do anything but yet was told to take Flonase. Again, why? Nothing is wrong with my nose. I work In pharmacy and i know there’s medications to help with what I’m dealing with and yet I waited an hour and half (i checked in online at 7:30am for a 9am appointment) for someone to tell me “you need Flonase”. & I told the nurse what medication I take and they had no idea what the brand name of it was called. Luckily I work in health care to know both names. The medical advice I got to cure my throat was, “just don’t talk, best way to heal your throat”. Dont waste your time like I did. I thought Med express was a joke, this place is a laughing stock.
My son went here. They only tested him for flu, which was negative, yet they prescribed Tamiflu, and here we are at a different clinic in Olathe two weeks later bc hes still not better. He tested positive for strep, which is now scarlet fever, has severe pain, fatigue, vomiting, rash. Also for mono. Im livid beyond words. How many other people in this area have been shoved out the door like livestock without proper treatment?? You cant tell me both these illness arent common in a college town, at the very least a strep test should have been done. Come on do better.
I booked an appointment for today at 12:20 pm, I show up at 12:05, and theres nobody there. The door is locked, no parked cars outside, even though they have signs everywhere saying its open and it closes at 8 pm. I knocked on the door for several minutes, called twice, no answer from anyone.
I came in to be seen today and it’s someone else working up front. I was the only one in the waiting room and it took this guy over 30 minutes to check me in. It has never taken me this long to be checked in with the girl that normally works up front. She’s great. Put someone up at the check in desk who knows what they are doing!
On the website it said they do incision and drainage of abscesses... but they will not do it on a tooth infection. Said they couldnt even see me to give me antibiotics. But the ER can do it I dont really understand why an urgent care cant. 2 stars only because they let me know before my appointment and were nice about it.
They called me the day of my appointment after I had already arrived in town (Im from a different town) to let me know that they only accepted virtual appointments that day. I had booked my appointment online the night before, and it did not specify that they didnt see patients.
Completely useless and a scam. We were forced to enroll in a monthly recurring charge program that is going to renew automatically unless cancelled. Then the doctor spent less than 90 seconds in the room, barked Im not your doctor! despite the subscription that would say otherwise, and wrote a prescription for a non-existent medication. Ive never been treated worse by a medical professional.
Booked an online appointment for 10 AM. Got there 10 minutes early like requested for new patients, sandwich board out front saying Now open. Pulled on the doors, building is locked, no ones at the desk and theres no direct line to call. I checked on online and saw there was a 9, 9:20, and 9:40 appointment before is still waiting.
Should have listened to the other reviewers. doctor spent maybe 2 minutes with me. did not ask any questions, and sent me off with 2 prescriptions i do not need. went to an actual hospital for a better opinion.
Staff was really nice, brought my out of town friend in and they took good care of him. Brought myself back in and it was quick and painless. Thanks much!
Terrible rushed service all the time. Improper testing and misdiagnosis is far too common here. They don’t care about patients. Just getting them out the door. Go literally anywhere else. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
DO NOT GO HERE. Went in because I wasn’t feeling well, but they refused to give me a flu/covid test because it would be a “waste” and “we’d be back at square one.” I paid $20 to be told that.
Walked in and the front desk it was going to be at least an hour or I could make an appointment. So I made an appointment for an hour and half later. Paid $50 with insurance for the exam that didnt even take 5 mins. Will not be back.
The clinic was great. The people were friendly and efficient. Provider, Kelli, was great at diagnosing my problem. I checked in on line which greatly speeded up the process and less time spent in the clinic.
My son Goes to school in Lawrence Ks and went to NextCare , did some xray and was told they will follow up with him , charged him copay and no one has reached out to him to tell him the results . I wouldnt recommend this location.
I was charged $130 and saw the doctor for about a minute. Went in to check for a chest infection and all they did was take my vitals, listen to my lungs, and prescribe me cough medicine. The cost was just way too high for the care received.
Horrible customer service. Staff was incompetent to do a regular blood draw, requiring 4 different people to complete it. Office closed on a regular business day with no notice making it impossible to pick up needed test results. Then waiting on hold for over 40 minutes to speak to someone before the call ended with no help.
Terrible experience- not many options on a Sunday and they were only offering virtual dr visits.
I went in on a Saturday morning for UTI symptoms and was seen relatively quickly. I was treated with compassion and out with a prescription for antibiotics in good time.
Cant even be bothered to answer their phones no matter what time of day or whos behind the front desk. Not suprised their rating is so low, with how poorly this place operates.
Website advertised open till 8...nonwhere does it say last walk in at 7:30. Second advertised walk-in clinic, with no appts...yet it was not 7:30 when we walked back out of Urgent(No-care) Care.
Very prompt And took care of my problem immediately. Customer service was excellent. I definitely will be returning Recommending 😊 👏🏻
I went in after making an online appointment. They told me there was no Provider/Doctor in the office from Friday until Monday. They said I could talk to a doctor there online.
They charged me a $50 copay inappropriately. After reviewing my insurance, the visit should have been no cost.
Denied care when the online system said it was still open for walk-ins. When I walked in, the receptionist didn’t even attempt to greet me with anything other than disdain and attitude. Won’t ever use again.
I think the girl working the front desk hasn’t made it past 1st grade. She makes 0 sense and is 0 help. She was working on the right side when I walked on so I would go to the left.
Awful. Ive waiting for almost 2 hours to be seen for 2 min. He she whatever, rude, did not let me finish anything I was talking about. Will never go here again
Staff is nice and efficient. Using the online appointment works well, not long wait times.
Website said there was no one waiting. I went as a walk in and discovered that was completely the opposite.
Taylor, Dennis and Lizz got me in and out within a hour! Very nice and professional from A to Z during my visit.
This place doesn’t exist anymore, and yet I was able to book an appointment online, get text reminders, paperwork, etc., only to arrive and it be abandoned. I’m going to look into reporting this to Google Business.
I went in here last minute for an ear infection, the staff was super nice, friendly, and they got me in and out quick!!
Sat on hold for 45 minutes on the phone no one ever answered 10 out of 10 would not recommend. I think this company is worse than medexpress.
Care is subpar, their response on billing and requests for diagnosis and codes is awful.
This place takes medical neglect to a whole other level! If you’ve gone here or are thinking of going here, I urge you to go somewhere else for proper treatment.
I should have read the reviews first. Go anywhere else in the world to get better service.
Don’t come here unless u wana be here ALL DAY! They’re VERY slow! The emergency room is so much FASTER!
Terrible place. They do not honor medical exemptions for masks and are rude about it. Denied medical care over masks that don’t work.
Literally nothing urgent about this place.
Had a really good experience at the Lawrence NextCare would highly Recommend
Place appears to be in disrepair externally. Questioned if they were opened or not. Decided to go elsewhere
Worst place ever to be seen wont ever go back to this spot ever wasted all my time
Very friendly, very professional, very good. I was very satisfied.
Awesome service.Easy to work with.Thanks!
Horrible
Everyone there has no clue what they are doing. Trust me stay clear.
It’s closed
Short wait times, sweet staff
Walk in DOT physical not true!
The doctors were nice
