Get Well Urgent Care Of Lincoln Park

The doctor was great. Very kind and caring, however the front desk girls were very rude and made this experience very uncomfortable. They both were very short with me and spent more time making fun of one of the ladies that was visibly struggling. The young lady appeared to be homeless and instead of offering comfort the staff at the front counter laughed and passed jokes back and forth while in front of her

Dr Dana is awesome! She is so nice n through that I drive all the way from Taylor to see her. Shes a doctor you will trust! The team/staff are always very nice and go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of.Best Urgent Care around!!❤️❤️🙏🙏😇👍

Had a great experience. Took my son here for a sports physical. The girls at the front desk were a pleasure to deal with. My son was called back within a few minutes of signing in. The Doctor was great. He came right in and shook mine and my sons hand to introduce himself. Did a quick thorough job. Shook our hands once again once finished and exciting the room. That says alot to me.

Choosing this urgent care was one of my best decisions, Ive made!! Dr, Peter Matty is genuinely an excellent doctor helped me tremendously and cared!! Staff is also helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend!

One of the best urgent cares I’ve been to. Polite, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Even worked with me when they couldn’t verify my insurance. Also very the pharmacy located in the same building is nice to have.

My office visit was very pleasant. The waiting time and test results were read in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly and showed concern.

The whole staff tonight was so awesome the care i got was so nice and genuine.. You can really see they love what they do! DD was so nice with the kids and her stick to draw my blood was so soft and gentle barely felt her prick me with the needle ! I went there with my son to rule out a football injury. Front desk was amazing and polite , the doctor was so nice and amazing. The person that triaged my son was very unprofessional and unpleasant she was rude to my 14 year old. She took him to his xray and he cracked his thumb ( which wasn’t part of the issue) she told him “well if you can do that then there is no reason for you to be here!” She was rude and unprofessional asking “why didn’t you just go to your primary instead of coming here” I work in emergency medicine and could never imagine treating my patients like this ever. I don’t remember her name but I snapped a picture of her , she is the reason I will be going to another location in the future. If you don’t want to work with people and the medical field then go do something else. That was disgusting behavior

Dr. Matty and his staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Matty doesn’t rush through your exam; he takes the time to listen to you and asks questions. Even though he doesn’t rush, Dr. Matty still manages to get you in and out rather quickly. The pharmacist is amazing as well.

Service was great! Receptionist and nurse aids were very friendly. The doctor is wonderful and straight to the point without all the hog wash like other doctors. Service is a hour or less and you’re out! Very pleased! Keep up the good work!

Im over the moon about the fact that Urgent Care is conveniently located on the corner of Fort St. I arrived early and from the receptionist to the person that call you in to the doctor. Just pleasant,pleasant and more pleasant👍🏾 Service was quick and caring. Thank You doctor and staff🙌🏾💯🤗

When I walked in the place was very clean and organized. The receptionist were very nice and polite. I didn’t wait very long and the doctor was very accurate with my diagnosis. I definitely recommend this urgent care.

I found myself in this Urgent Care Facility, with my husband who sustained an episode a few days back. Everyone was so cheerful, knowledgeable, any eager to evaluate and treat him right away!! I was quite taken by their degree of their friendliness!! My first time there, but id gladly go back if the need persists futuristically!!

Myself and both of my children come here whenever needed and always have excellent care. All of the staff and drs are so sweet. Never a very long wait. Latest wait so far has maybe been 20 minutes.

I really love this place! they get you in and out, respectful they care about your needs staff goes on and above about they’re services. So I’m kinda of a hard draw when it come to taking blood and no one ever gets my vein in the middle of my arm, But guess who did (Dede) and did a good job at it when I was in doubt she put me to the test. Staff was nice. The doctor was great and we were in and out including the pharmacy in maybe 30 minutes. I have a three year old who was being seen and a teenager with autism. They don’t like waiting long at all, and there we weren’t waiting hours to be seen. The nurse and the doctor were great with my family. We will be back.

I came here and waited and hour and still was not seen by a doctor I go out my room to ask how long til I see a doctor and I see the doctor at her desk doing absolutely NOTHING, then she gets up mind you its after 10pm and it was only 2 other people waiting to be seen when I came in and none of them were even seen yet, I came last week at night and the guy Dr was so fast and thorough and its was more patients than there was today I will never come back when this female doctor is here

We loved this place except the last 2 visits with Joyce. My first bad experience was when she used a throat swab in my nose. She didn’t realize until after I left and called me to come back in. Then I was there with my son and was scolded for not bringing him in earlier so he could get tamiflu, mind you his only symptom for 3 days was a fever. She was upset that she couldn’t give it to him and made my poor son cry because she acted like he would die without it. I’m sad because all the other doctors have always been great. But we will not be coming back here anymore :(

My experience at this Urgent Care was very pleasant. The nurses were great. They took my vitals and were kind and thorough. Doctor Matty was attentive to my needs. This was a horrible visit this time. Normally my visits here are great. However this doctor didnt know what she was talking about at all, n wouldnt even listen fully to what I had to explain when she would ask me a question. This was the worst visits and doctor I have ever seen in my life

This is the only Urgent Care I go to. Also my family. Dr. Joyce is fantastic. Everyone at this location is so kind, caring, and its amazing even when theyre super busy how quick things move, and everyone is always spot on One of the things Ive noticed is if you go to certain urgent cares in the downriver area, they guesstimate what is wrong with you and when you dont feel comfortable with it, and I guide my friends to come to this location every time they find out the first time exactly whats truly wrong I highly highly recommend this location The staff and everyone is fantastic. Experienced what I felt was racscism from a middle aged arabic woman. She was very passive aggressive towards me and my child and suggested that I sit my 8 month old daughter on a dirty scale that people step on to get weighed. I could not figure out what disqualified my 8 month old daughter from getting on the baby scale....Then she stuck us in the triage room and closed the door. I left out, and walked up to the desk and asked the other staff was their baby scale working. They said yes. I explained to them what the triage nurse told me to do, and that I was trying to figure out why she told me that. They replied by telling me to ask her. Also it was smoldering hot in there. No air at all. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars is because I like the doctors. But the nurses, MA, and receptionist attitudes are trash. Zero professionalism.

I went in for the first time for a cold/breathing issue. I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The doctor and nurses were very kind. The doctor seemed caring and not rushing out like most doctors do. I was given a work note quickly and got my medication fast from the pharmacy inside. The doctor told me to follow up in a few days to see how I was feeling. I never got that service from any other urgent care ever. Great job guys.

They dont send over any of your Prescriptions unless you call them and Bug them to do their job.And CVS in Lincoln Park verified that one.

Normally go to Taylor location but they were unexpectedly closed today so we came here! There were about 5 people ahead of us but the wait time wasn’t that long. The nurses and dr were really nice and actually listened to what I had to say and answered my questions. This location is a little further than the Taylor location for me but we will definitely be coming back! 10/10

I was a first-time patient, and when I arrived, I was greeted with a smile. The staff was very nice. And I watched them interact with different patients their friendly attitude stayed the same. I told myself I wouldnt ever go to an urgent care that was not the hospital. This experience changed my outlook. I will go back for medical treatment in the future.

Super friendly staff from reception, to check in, to the staff in the hallway. The Dr was great, genuinely listened to what I had to say and explained very clearly what was wrong with me. The Pharmacist was fantastic and explained my script to me as well. This is my 3rd experience at this Urgent Care, each time I received fast, friendly great care! I was in and out within an hour. I would definitely recommend them!

I didnt have to wait too long. Theyre pretty efficient at what they do. They even gave me an x-ray a lot of times some urgent cares cant do thatI went in for a knee problem today and they had a brace for me. Im happy with overall everything they seem really nice and they know what theyre doing

Amazing staff . The doctor’s beside manner was so comforting. I was so nervous and she literally talked me through the whole procedure… i honestly forgot what I came in for

The staff was fast and nice, however when I came in I provided both of my insurances (which are both good insurances PPO) and I was still charged a co-pay. The copay was $30 and I have been to this location a few times and never had a copay; even when I used just 1 insurance. Next time, the staff should take their time with reviewing the insurance and actually analyze to see if a patient has a co-pay. I still end up paying the $30 but I did ask the front lady twice, are you sure I have a co-pay and she told me yes and asked me how I was paying it. I never had any issues from this place, my whole family goes there for quick turn around. This particular time I went, I just didn’t agree with the whole co-pay thing when I have two really big insurances.

Amazing staff and providers. Went into the office after a knee injury. Staff (Didi and Anjelica) and provider (Peter Matti) were polite and efficient. Short wait time, x-rays and exam. Took the time to listen and answer my questions. Never disappoint. Thank you for always being awesome.

Terrible. They were upset that I would not use their pharmacy. I told them to send my scripts across the street to Walgreens and they purposely sent it to Walgreens in Trenton. Their pharmacy is overpriced....

They welcomed me right away. Took my info. The waiting time was short.the lady who took my vitals was friendly, kind, and attentive. The doctor was friendly, fast, and efficient. She knew right away I needed a breathing treatment. Took x-rays. Another test. Fast diagnosis. So kind. I love this place!!!

Test aren’t accurate I went to be tested for strep Covid and flu. All came back negative. Ended up at ER next day with strep and flu smh.

Everytime I go to the Lincolon Park location, they are professional and get me in and out quickly. I have been there about 5x for ear infections, sinus infections, and pink eye. They prescribe me with the correct medications and I leave there feeling like I was heard. Thanks so much to the staff for being efficient!

The staff was wonderful, respectful and very nice. The doctor was very thorough and very kind and had a wonderful bedside manner. I will go if ever needed medical treatment and I highly recommend for all your medical needs.

Instructions for covid testing say to wait in line to get tested, I waited an hour in line only to get told that if I have insurance that I have to wait another hour because they take patients without insurance first. Why?? Where does it say that? The nurse was so rude, too. Shame on you, I dont need this on top of everything! ps: there was no one in line behind me! See photo.

This place is ridiculous with their billing. I got charged over $200 just for the office fee, thats after insurance coverage... Not to mention the inside was dirty looking and freezing. Do better people this is why people cant afford health care in this damn country!

The doctor and staff were all very nice and got me back quickly. This is the only Urgent Care I will go to because they care and they do their best to get you the best possible care for whatever it may be that you’re coming in for.

My husband and I’s experience was great from beginning to end. Immediate service. No long wait at all. Doctor was excellent. Listens and was very understanding. Nurse was nice and did not hurt me. Pharmacy was quick with prescription. We would definitely consider if needed to come back.

Went in for a Covid test and there where about 6 people ahead of me I still got in after them like 15 mins max and all workers were very nice and got me out in about 10 mins so my experience was pretty good.

I had a great experience at get well urgent care. Starting at the front desk. I was checked in promptly. I had new insurance and that didn’t slow the receptionist down a bit. I didn’t have my new card so she gave me a print out with my info out of pure kindness. I only waited a few mins and I went to the room. The nurse came in right away and was very kind. I only waited a few mins longer and the dr came in. He was very thorough and had great bedside manner. I would recommend get well in Lincoln park to all my friends and family. Best experience I’ve had at an urgent care by far. Actually best experience I’ve had at a health facility at all in years!

Brought my kid in, everybody was very nice and friendly. Front desk staff, assistants in the back and provider were all very pleasant. We were there around 4:15pm on a school day, we didnt wait longer than 10 minutes. They really did help my kid feel better. I will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone that asks me. The front desk was extremely rude and pretty sure she called me a name as I walked away. The staff is fairly young and didnt really explain anything they were doing on my son, so I explained it to him after. The doctor was nice and informative and saved the day. My son ended up having strep so Im so glad I stuck it out. There was definitely an attitude or just unprofessionalism from the other medical assistants. Upon leaving, I asked for a doctors note and they gave me one without a diagnosis. I pointed it out to receive another one and there wasnt even an apology for their mistake....being in the healthcare field myself I wouldnt recommend it just because the front office sets the tone of the office, and it didnt get much better from that. I would expect more. Thanks alot tho, everyone else😁

Professional, courteous, considerate, swift.Sam drew my blood and I’ve never had a better blood draw experience. It didn’t hurt, it didn’t bruise, she got my vein on the first try. She was friendly. Everyone was very friendly. I think I’ve found my new favorite urgent care.

Highly Recommended! The staff is very polite and professional. They are very well organized for Covid testing. The doctors are happy to spend time with each patient, to make sure everything is explained and all questions addressed. Even days after my visit, when I thought of more questions, I spoke with one of the staff on the phone, Harvey. He was hugely helpful in guiding me through everything I needed to know about my prescriptions, and never tried to rush me off the phone. Thanks a Ton, Harvey!

I love this place. I live right around the corner so this is a convenient place to go with my urgent medical needs. But not only that, the doctors are so eager to help you and are very knowledgeable about many different things. Im always in and out rather quickly even with all the testing going on. The staff is very welcoming and I never feel judged by the doctors. That makes such a huge difference. I would recommend to anyone that if they need urgent care, come here !

I must say that the two times I have needed the services of an urgent care facility, Get Well has been no less than outstanding. The staff is friendly and courteous, and you are treated with compassion and respect. Due to the Covid-19 virus, and my having upper respiratory symptoms, they asked if I wished to be tested. I did take the test, and was impressed that Doc Peter, came outside, and conducted his exam so that I would not have to enter the facility. A prescription was sent to my pharmacy, and I am starting to feel better already. Thank you for your fast, safe, and courteous service!

I took my son in on Christmas Day and every single staff member was wonderful. We will be back and have already told a couple of people about our experience. Thank you for being there on Chirtmas and helping my son to feel better.

I absolutely love this office! Dr. Peter is genuine and very personable. Very attentive to your well being. A 48 hour check up call to see how your feeling. Thats very nice to see nowadays. Not a lot of doctors check up on you after you leave their office. The girls in the office are very nice too. I was very impressed and will return in the future.

The first time I met Doctor Peter was when I came here to be seen for an issue I had.Dr. Peter is beyond excellent, he has a very friendly and holistic approach, very caring, and made me feel at ease during my first visit. Dr. Peter has an excellent manner and makes what could be stressful experience easy! He knows what he’s doing and can be trusted to make the right decision for treatment. Nowadays, whenever I wanna be seen I ask for Doctor Peter, he takes his time to answer all of my questions and never rushes my appointment visit. Got there right when they opened. Was seen quickly and had some x-rays done. Everyone was nice and my visit was quick and pleasant. Would recommend.

The entire staff are the kindest, most caring staff! From the first employee that greeted me to the PAs, testing. Also, took me at the door from my caregiver; wheeled me to each station. Back to the door to my caregiver. They are all so amazing!! I am currently in a wheelchair due to a MVA 9/23/2019.I recommend this clinic for ANYONE to this facility!! I tested 6 times and every experience was wonderful because of all of them

This is the only urgent care I try to use. The doctors are very thorough. They work with me not having insurance, especially with discount card for prescriptions…..better than Good Rx!

Ive always been able to talk to the doctor and get my problems resolved. Coming here is like dealing with trusted family. I would not consider going anywhere else. This was the best team of medical staff I have been around in a long time. Id love to have them around if I ever get sick again. The provider was very busy but still took the time to make me feel like I was the only patient there. The girl that took my initial information was terrific, she also made me feel like I was the first patient of the day. I loved visiting and if I need their services again I know I will be welcomed like family.

I went early in the morning when they first opened, the experience felt rushed. The doctor that saw me came into the room and when I was explaining my situation she yawned and looked like she could be doing better things. She also prescribed me Diflucan even though I told her I was pregnant, which even on the bottle says do not take if pregnant. More care needs to be put into the job , because if I didn’t ask questions to my pharmacist or pay attention no telling what could’ve happened.

This place is awful. I went in expecting to see a dr. And found out that they’re all nurses. NP.I told the female that I saw I didn’t feel well and I knew I had strep. She said it didn’t look like strep back there and it’s just really really irritated and red. I assured her i have no tonsils and reminded her that I have never had white spots on my throat when it came back strep. she didn’t believe it was strep by my “symptoms” only being a headache and sore throat….so issues me a steroid. She said “the swab was negative”. I continued to remind her that I work in patients mouths and I didn’t feel confident. She said she couldn’t issue an antibiotic. I than asked her to send out a PCR strep test. She said” sure. “They came back in. Swabbed me. Gave me a steroid and a note for work that day. I fill it. Go to work the following week and work on patients in the dental field alllll week. They call me four days later telling me I should start a antibiotic asap. . It is indeed strep ! I have had serious issues in my life that I still deal with in regards to misdiagnosis and the wrong medication being issued. This is unreal. Now my kids have strep. . I truely went in not for this nurses knowledge but for the signature to give me the antibiotic I need. Another major issue at this clinic is the front desk. The girl at the window is extremely unprofessional and rude everytime.She violates patients privacy by telling their information through the glass.There’s no reason I should be telling you my home address out loud with random men behind me. Or screaming my symptoms through the window.This place overall just needs someone well organized, knowledgeable, better bed side manner and better team work. It’s not fair to the patients that really need help to wait an hour in your waiting room and then be treated unkindly. If you don’t have the patients to care for people band don’t like your job. Find a different one. Because no one wants to go into a clinic when they’re feeling their best. No one wants to come to urgent care ever … We’re there for help. The right help.

I appreciate this place being open and I get great help every time I visit but only problem is it doesn’t feel clean. The walls in the patient rooms are very dirty. They need a good scrubbing. Especially being a medicalBuilding full of germs.

I was against going here when my husband suggested it . When my daughter had COVID , they didn’t exam her.COVID test before the doctor came in and she came in . She sat on the stool , told me COVID positive and did no physical examination. Just today my husband went , did not do any physical exam when he came for shoulder and arm pain. She could felt for tenderness, movement limitations. None of that. It like she was afraid to touch people.

I went to Get Well Urgent Care today feeling so sick. Sometimes, when it’s cold and flu season there really isn’t a whole lot to do to help you. But to start the experience with a friendly staff quick care, a doctor that seems that he really enjoyed helping people as well as the staff I was very impressed. I was in and out in less than an hour and that included vitals x-rays talking to the physician and getting prescriptions I cannot stress how good it is to be treated that waywhen you’re not feeling well..Keep doing things the way that you do I will recommend your place to everyone I know that is not feeling wellThanksKipp Tait

Came in with my sons who was fussy from not feeling good. Im very happy at how polite, kind, and helpful all the staff was with caring for my children! the provider was awesome he was cheering them up with a few games of rock paper scissors(which they love playing)!!! in the end they left feeling better. I definitely recommend this place!! Provider personally called 2 days after visit to make sure they were both okay. Will definitely be returning to this clinic if my family is sick.

Came into get a drug screening for a job and have been waiting for over 40 minutes. Would not recommend this 😕 place if you have other things to do or places to be. They are extremely slow and will leave you waiting.

Prices were very fair, and this is important to me, as I dont carry health insurance. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the problem I came in for was address immediately and has resolved within 24 hours. THANKS! You guys did a great job!

I am giving 2 stars because they were nice and polite but any other urgent care Ive been to took the issue away right away and this urgent care did not.. they also gave me cetirizine (Zyrtec) for poison oak and it dont help it at all and when I came back to ask for a higher dose of steroids or whatever she shot me with she told me she couldnt help..

Went in feeling like I was ganna not be able to walk again the doc and nurses were very friendly with my daughter and myself. I hope they stay around for a while.

I give this one 5 stars they all are grate they check ever thing even do xreay and unlike the one in Southgate they seen my mother and never did a xray on her chest and just rushed her out and gave her meds and 3 days later she had to be rushed in to the er buy ems and then had to go to icu and then was placed on life support and we lost her at 5 am two day after Thanksgiving in 2022 lost her from pneumonia which made her one lung collapse and if they would have just done x-rays she could have been in the hospital way sooner and maybe its been and maybe been able to survive so from know on I will go to this office not the Southgate one

I recently experienced some form of ear infection. I happened to be out of town during my first visit. I was prescribed one treatment, I completed it and nothing was better. I stopped at Get Well and that was yesterday. I’m already noticing progress and feel so much better. Hearing is returning and the pressure in my head is gone. THANK YOU! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Typically I go see my family doctor, but during these times it’s difficult to even get an appointment. I had concerns of possibly contracting covid, so a friend of mine suggested this urgent care. I was very impressed with not only the professionalism of the staff, but also how quick and organized I was handled. Not to mention, they really make you feel comfortable during the whole process! Highly recommend!

Respectable customer service is hard to come by, but I can say with certainty that Get Well Urgent Care exceeds all expectations one would have for an urgent care visit. I have been here quite a few times for Covid testing and have gotten nothing but the best care. Today I was in because both me and my son are sick, the girls in the back explained everything to my 8 yo and did an amazing job. I highly recommend coming here.
