NextCare Urgent Care McKinney

Staff at this location is always polite, friendly, and helpful. The front office administrator is exceptionally amazing her job. I am always amazed at her ability to be professional and patient, even if a patient is not prepared with all necessary documents or experiences issues with the online applications. Ive repeatedly thanked her for serving and always with a smile, no matter what time of the day.I take three of my kids to this location instead of their pediatricians. It is very difficult for me to secure sick appointments with my kids pediatrician although they have several locations.The staff at NextCare are accommodating and work very hard to assist my family when they are sick. The process cam be quick, simple, and stressfree.

I went to this urgent care and had a really good experience. It was under an hour wait and they make you check in on your phone so you can see where you are on the wait list - very helpful! The doctor that was on staff didn’t have a lot of knowledge of my symptoms and seemed like she was at a loss, but nevertheless had great bed side manner and was nice. Rodrigo (i think that’s his name?) also very kind and i just wanted to give him a shout out. He does patient intake, X-rays, etc and does so much for patients! I had a great experience here and will definitely come back if I ever need to.

I had a workers’ comp injury claim. Once my company got their stuff together, the process was very smooth. Staff is very friendly. I was always seen quickly, within 10-15 minutes of checking in. I definitely recommend making an appointment.My doctor was not in a rush to release me too quickly and made sure I was comfortable with moving forward towards release at my comfort level. I do have my own PCP, but if I ever have to get in quicker than my doctor can see me, I’ll come here.

Wait time wasn’t like most Urgent cares, the staff was great. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The Medical Assistant (I feel bad I already forgot her name) who did my intake and took all my labs was extremely nice/friendly. All of them were so great and even Dr. Verma was extremely kind! She made sure to check every single screening/symptom and wanted to make sure she didn’t miss any possible concerns. She definitely did not make me feel like my signs or symptoms were nothing and actually listened to the issues I was undergoing. She did not undermine or invalidate the issues and made it very clear she truly cared. I really appreciated how I was treated by this facility. Thank you guys so much.

This is the best urgent care ever the staff and the Doctor Verma Neelam is one of the best in the area. She solves your problem professionally and wisely and does your check-ups as a doctor should, with compassion and commitment. Thank you Doctor for your good work. There are few doctors like that left.

Everyone was kind but i booked an appointment and didn’t get called until 50 minutes after, not sure if it makes a difference whether you make an appointment or do a walk in. I also think the nurses need a bit more training. I did a blood test and they poked me 4 times before the doctor came in an did it in a few seconds. I don’t typically have trouble with blood tests so I was a bit startled and confused, I look like a heroin user. They moved the needle around a lot and it was uncomfortable not gonna lie.

Dr Verma gave me a steroid injection for nerve pain. She didn’t tell me how long my pain will last and she didn’t give me any specific side effects from the injection. I was in severe pain for 3 days straight. The prescription drugs she gave me didn’t help with any pain at all! I cannot rationalize or grasp how she can just hand out injections without giving detailed information to patients! Just unprofessional and risky for patients! I eventually checked into Medical City where I received much better care and help!

Great experience with Solv scheduling for an urgent care visit. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Johnesha was so loving and kind toward my four year old and helped to ease her mind when not feeling well. We will certainly be back!

Excellent experience, all automated and done on my phone. No physical paperwork. Also, pay was upfront and charged day of, so there was no mystery or surprise billing. Very friendly staff that were efficient and got me in and out. So happy to have a solid urgent care to have on hand when needed. Thank you!

The staff is great and the overall experience was awesome. My daughter was in for an xray and the gentleman who did intake and the xray was wonderful. The doc (Dr Lee I believe) could learn some bedside manner and not insult patients though…

I have to say this was the best urgent care experience we have ever had and with my mom being 92 yo. we’ve been to many. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Nurse Teresa McGuinness and assistant Johnisha went above and beyond to provide thorough and most importantly thoughtful care. Teresa took extra steps to make sure we had everything we needed. Too long to go into here, but believe me, we’ve never had someone at an urgent care do all she did to help us. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

Went in with extreme chest pain thinking I was really ill with a sore and tested positive for strep. I asked again about my terrible chest pain and was told it was often a symptom of bad strep. After being injected with penicilin I picked up my antibiotic pills at CVS and went home. At home I could no longer tolerate the pain and it was so bad that I was sweating through my clothes. Went to the ER. It was a heart attack. Im still in the hospital. I was told they should have ran tests immediately. I was not taken seriously and it jeapordized my life.

My daughter needed to have her school physical done for athletics. I did not realize my brother had taken her there last year to the same NextCare urgent care! All of her information was still on file and getting her in was very easy! They were soon going to close for the day, but the staff went over and above to accommodate us! I would highly recommend this facility and location for any of your urgent care or non-urgent care medical needs!

My experience at this clinic is always fantastic from the front desk, to Nursing Station, to the Doctor. She is incredible in her attention to detail making sure you get the best possible care and outcome.

Receptionist was very polite very helpful. The place was clean. The triage nurse was amazing and the physicians assistant was so helpful in getting me some relief from my asthma.

We’ve gone to this urgent care 3 times now cause it’s one of the only ones I’ve found that actually takes state insurance. They have been thoughtful and attentive the wait time isn’t too crazy and you can check in before. You can really tell they actually care about their patients from the staff to the practitioners who see you.

Made an appointment the same day .Dr was very nice and professional and caring. I felt better for even going after I left . Came in Mon to repeat some X-rays and I think the receptionist could use a dose of friendly for sure because I dont think she was very to people including me.new person at the front desk very nice

My wife and I went and everyone was very nice the lady who checked us in that lady who took my blood pressure and the lady doctor theyre all the sweetest people Vurma Neely my doctor was absolutely nice sweet and very clear and I could understand her thumbs up all the way great she absolutely does not rush you and she really listens and takes her time with every patient

Went to this urgent care 7/14. Had a virus and not feeling well. I ended up getting cough medicine which I ended up needing a refill. I called twice (2 days in a row) and spoke to Alexis, promising she would call back after checking with the Dr. those 2 days, it’s obvious I just needed a quick refill for this awful cough that had not let me sleep for 12 days! OTC was doing nothing for me. Never had 1 call back! I don’t understand what the big deal was. Give me the damn medicine because I needed it that is why I went to see the Dr. Don’t tell a patient they will check and call back when clearly don’t care.

I’m middle eastern and usually do picky with my drs. Dr Verma was absolutely amazing and she felt like home! Definitely will be coming back to her. The nurse was also super nice

Got to work early in the morning, I was able to get on the website and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. The ease of scheduling an appointment was absolutely amazing and all the verifications and getting to do all the paperwork online truly has no equal!!I

Wait time is always long. I scheduled my visit but still had to wait an hour and a half til I saw doctor. The staff and doctors are always friendly and great!

The scheduling and check in process were quick and easy. The facility was quiet and clean. The nurse and the doctor were very nice, listened to me and communicated well. I recommend this facility.

Last time I went there I waited a long time with wrist injury. They had no x-ray tech on site. Said sorry and took my money. Today needed to ask a question goes straight to voice mail and says to call my local location. Duhh, that is the one I called. TheI will spend my money where I can have real service. I gave them a one because there is not a negative.

Not happy at all with NextCare Urgent Care in McKinney, Texas. They gave out my private medical information to a third party without my consent. A clear HIPAA violation that I will definately file a complaint on.Editing two months later: It turns out that I was wrong. Medical care centers do in fact have a responsibility to report certain injuries to the authorities without authorization from the patient. For example, a man goes into an emergency room with a bloody gunshot. The hospitial has a responsibility to report this to the police and they do exactly that. In my case I was bitten by a cat. Cats that bite will always be reported to local animal authorities.So Im changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars. NextCare Urgent Care of McKinney gives terrific medical care.

I took my daughter today at this centerFor emergency services. She is type 1 and neurological seizure. The center declined to provide service as she had Medicaid. At that point I could have even paid in cash but they did not care.My daughter was almost half dead.I took the business card of the center and told the lady at front that what they did will upset customers, human life is more important. I asked her name. She refused twice.She said ‘ it’s personal. I was in shock. In healthcare people at this time have this demeanor?I took some pictures and they wanted to call the police?Really? The front lady turned her back on me? What are you scared off? A harmless father who is on your feet to get care for his teenage daughter.You caused life threat to my child and she had to be admitted to emergency where I am writing from?Remember no parent will appreciate this behavior from Neighbour good urgent care. I don’t know what to call this?My daughter had a seizure on the way to emergency and I had to stop by car and call 911. I had no idea what to do.God really tested me today after 17 years after getting sole custody of my daughter when she was 1. I am the same father who fought for my daughter life when she was one.I wrote in detail so you all can review this and be careful with a plan B.This is the location and front desk lady who turned her back when asked her name while taking a picture.PS: No one is here to harm but turning your back shoes your insecurity, intent and morals. It also shows policies of urgent care.Update: I came home from emergency at 10 pm. I was only physically tried but mentally wasted. My daughter is a bit better. She has been advised bed rest for a week with prescriptions.Sincerely

Today was my first time visiting NextCare Urgent Care on Eldorado across the street from Albertson. The service that I received was totally welcoming and professional from the lady at the front desk to the lady who input my medical history to the LPN who saw me. I’m a Disable Veteran and it was NO PROBLEM with them caring for Service Members and their Spouses. I’m done with ER’s unless it’s a extreme emergency. Had continuing sinus pressure and balance problems. After getting the steroid shot and one night of zpac I feel much better. Great testing and great explanation of problem plus solution.

Had a back pain that continued to increased but couldnt get into see my PCP until next year. I scheduled online & even checked in early (love that feature) then could wait in my car until they call for me. The male nurse that Triage to me its very polite courteous and friendly made me feel very comfortable Especially on Christmas Eve. The doctor was very polite and quick prompt and courteous and very knowledgeable. I was in & out in under an hour with my prescriptions all sent to my pharmacy!I saw an item out of place on the floor beside the door as I exited is the only reason for -1 star.Now I wonder if theyre not better than my PCP! I was already getting better even before I left there!!!!!!

Unfortunately the wait was quite long due to limited staff. But the care was great and the staff caring and professional.

What happened to the doctors that used to work there? Now it seems you only have nurse practitioners. Megan is a great one; shes compassionate and empathetic. I saw her last year. However Teresa is the opposite of Megan. I came there hoping to get a prescription for pain for my TMJ, which has gotten worse in the past year. Im always in pain. I believe Teresa is one of those people that wouldnt prescribe pain medication if I came in with a gunshot wound. I have a hard time believing anything she says. I came in last September with the Shingles. I had extreme pain across my ribs. The rash hadnt shown up yet. She sent me to the ER telling me they would probably want to remove my gallbladder. No exam. She just knew this going by the symptoms I wrote down for the reason I was there. It was the shingles. If I ever need to come back to NextCare I will call & see who is working that day. I will NOT see Teresa again.

Both the nurse and doctor were excellent. The doctor showed she cared and went above and beyond.

Made an apt, showed up early. After waiting 45 minutes after apt time, looked online again and it still said 5 people ahead of me, ALL walk-ins yet wed been sitting in the waiting room all that time and not a single person went back or came out! Asked front desk and she said the delay was due to walk-ins (who were invisible men? 🤷) and that she could reschedule me. I pointed out that we already had an apt so they obviously didnt matter and she said they do, but were a walk in clinic. So....they actually dont then? Were still here and still waiting because weve already wasted so much time, and apparently everyone else in town let their x-ray techs off today and I still need to be seen but we definitely wont be back here or recommend this place. Oh, and when we finally did get taken to a room...the instrument are all broken (see pic)!

This urgent care facility was very good. Got an appointment quickly, wait time was very little, and talking with the Dr was excellent. Plenty of time to answer all questions, medications, and information for future issues. Highly recommend this facility.

I can tell you I will definitely be back they are so polite fast and this place is very clean.The people I saw today were very nice, professional, and they listen to you. I was away from home visiting family and had a miserable night battling allergies and a cough. I decided that I couldn’t wait until I went back home to get relief, so I called your clinic. They got me in quickly. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. I was able to get an allergy shot and was feeling better almost immediately.

Nice clinic, but the wait is ridiculously long when there are only 3 people ahead of you. You will be waiting for over an hour for sure before you are called back. Only one doctor at the clinic. The NP that saw me didnt even come up with a legit diagnosis. I should have seen the doctor for the amount of time I waited. I wont be returning.

Excellent facility. We were easily able to make an appointment and quickly got to see the doctor upon arrival. Everyone at the clinic from the receptionist to the doctor were extremely courteous, helpful and professional. They listened to my husband, diagnosed his condition and prescribed meds. We will definitely come back.

Nurse Nicki was very nice and polite. She has great social skills and eased my daughters nerves when doing her checkup. The wait time was very fast, anytime my family has something urgent happen we drive from Denton County to come to this specific clinic. Dr.Teresa was very friendly and punctual. Explained everything throughly.

If I could give it a none I would. I got seen for only 3 mins flu n covid test was done. That’s I come out my total is 285. I have insurance by the way and they never told me they didn’t except it as well. When i said I do not have the money I was told you should have not been seen if you didn’t have no money. I told her could we set something up or payment plan because I didn’t get paid till that night. They told me no at the end she called supervisor and now my total was 75. All I wanted to know what was 285.

Our visit was quick and informative. My son was feeling very ill a few days after his doctors visit. We came to urgent care and it turned out that he had a completely different diagnosis. Without their help, his condition would have been much worse. Thank you NextCare!

We have been there twice recently. My son had a football injury and then a bike accident. The staff is AMAZING! we had a great experience at every point of our visit. ... all the way from check in to xray, examination, wound care, to check out. The Physician, nurse and receptionist were just wonderful. We also walked in right before they closed and left well after they had been closed.. it didnt phase them at all. They were extremely thorough. Thank you for taking care of us!

We have been to this location three times in the last two weeks. All of the staff is delightful and kind. The front desk is always warm, the nurses were patient with my daughters’ fears about the strep and flu tests, and the doctors were very informative. Beyond that, the wait time was minimal. We are grateful to have access to such a great faculty. Thank you!

Had a great experience at the NextCare today! I had all 3 of my kids with me and Angie at the front desk was super helpful getting me checked in without any fuss. Filling out the paperwork online was quick and easy. The wait was short and we were in and out within 30 mins! Dr. Verma was very patient with my 3 year old who didn’t want to cooperate. Would definitely recommend this urgent care!

Next Care is such a clean and friendly clinic. It is easy to make an appointment online. I have always had a great experience and I love and trust Dr. Verma.

My daughter has severe allergic reactions to mosquitos. She got one on her eyelid. There is not a pediatrician here, but they saw us and were very understanding and helpful. The staff was nice. The inside and rooms were clean. The service moved quickly. I would go back, if we needed urgent care services.

I waited 1.5 hours (had appointment) before finally seeing the nurse practitioner. She kept trying to talk me out of getting a covid test and really talked down to me. After seeing her it took another 30minutes to receive my paperwork before I could leave. Why?? I wasnt prescribed anything, just needed the receipt.Awful experience with this nurse practitioner and it was a dehumanizing experience. The only good part of this visit was the first intake nurse who does basic info gathering. She was nice and efficient.

Excellent care. Staff excellent. Nurse and radiologist in particular. Couldn’t thank him enough for all he did. Very knowledgeable and explained well , pleasure to chat with putting patient at ease .Been using Excellent Care for years. Always recommend it. And, so close to Trader Jo. 😊can shop after care!

I went to Urgent Care because not having insurance or a Doctor. And I need my medication refill. They were so accommodating to my needs and it only cost me $20 to be seen by their doctor. And she gave me refills for my medication and told me to see a primary as soon as I can. And the staff was very nice and helpful. To your every needs I would recommend it to anyone. At least thats my input.

The best urgent care that I have ever went. The staff members are very kind and helpful. The doctors and everyone else who are working in this urgent care care are so kind, patient, caring and so lovely. I had two great experiences with them and I got the best care and help. I’m so thankful l.

Good experience overall. Live monitoring for your place in line and you can wait in your vehicle. 8 people ahead of me and still got me in under 2 hours total.

We haven’t found a healthcare clinic so amazing that we had to go in an leave a review.This PrimaCare clinic is very thorough. Honestly I wasn’t too sure about this place when I first brought my daughter in for her sprained wrist. Since it passed our scheduled appointment by 10-15 minutes. But this was because there was only one nurse and one doctor. When we did go in, we were worried that they would want to quickly get us in and out to see the next patient. But they were very thorough, even though my 18 month old kept crying, they were patient with us and helped us through everything.Thank you so much, you ladies helped us a lot.I will definitely be taking my whole family here for urgent care and will also recommend to others in the area.

I’ve been here several times and it’s always a great experience. The staff is always friendly. The providers always listen to me and trust that I know my body better than anyone else. They do everything they can to get me on the road to feeling better. I’m very grateful to be able to have somewhere to go with a staff that actually cares about my health.

All of the staff were individually awesome! From the very patient front desk receptionist, to the knowledgeable nurse, and then to the excellent Doctor, I was 100% satisfied! It was a breath of fresh air and although times are difficult, this group of Medical professionals worked together to insure the patient’s needs were met!

My husband went in for a DOT physical and he always gets worked up and his blood pressure was through the roof. They let him lie down in a quiet dark room and came in about 20 minutes later and his blood pressure was normal. They took the extra time and care for him to calm down. Thank you Teresa and staff. ❤️

I went to Urgent Care 2 times in a week for a severe ear infection. Both times all the staff, nurses, and doctor were very kind and patient walking me through the process and taking care of me. Thank you!

Jeanetta the nurse or MA was absolutely perfect! She was sweet and patient with my sick 4 year old and would recommend on her alone. The NP took good care of us and took time to explain everything and answered all my questions. The wait was a little long, but it was worth it to have a good experience. Definitely come back here when I need a quick fix for a sick kid!

I have been to this urgent care a few times now, and each time has been excellent. The staff is fun and friendly, and has helped me to take my mind off the reason why Im there.They are also very attentive to the medical needs of their patients, and have taken excellent care of me each time Ive gone. Its rarely a good time if you need to see a doctor, but know that youll be in good shape when you leave.

Im horrible with names but the front desk lady was super sweet and very helpful. Technician here checked us in did vitals was very kind and worked with my twins. And the doctor was super thorough and reassuring and also accommodated for my kids not being happy and everything we needed and got us out of there quickly. Would highly recommend not a long wait hopefully we dont have to come back but if we do Ill totally go here.

I have been coming to this urgent care center for years, and I couldnt recommend a better place. The staff is welcoming and always make sure my concerns are met. I highly revoked downloading the app for appointment scheduling, as it make checking in so much easier.

I needed to take in our 1 year old. We walked in and got checked in quickly. We were able to see the doctor after just a few minutes. We got out quickly and were on our way! Everyone was very kind and attentive. Great experience and with a 1 year old, That is awesome!

I was seen timely. A little glitch at the front desk, but back office staff was GREAT! I was allergic to the med, had a ER visit, but the NEXT CARE MD made everything all better, when the ER and Pharmacy dropped the ball. THIS is a great place!!!!

The doctor today was very attentive, continued to work on my ear and tried to get results and gave me a prescription and told me to comeback. I will come back. My daughter seems to think that these people at Urgent care are good enough but after today I can definitely dispute what she said.

Absolutely loved them. I was there a couple minutes after 8 and was told it was gonna probably be a wait since people did have actual appointments. I was expecting to spend at least 2+ hours. Not even close. I was in a room before 30 minutes even hit. The doctor, who is very straight forward, answered all of my questions and listened to what I needed from all the medications I was given. I usually don’t have good experiences at health facilities in general but I was genuinely taken aback by how quick they were while taking care of me. I still can not describe how amazing the doctor is. Will for sure go back if I get sick. Fingers crossed that I don’t.

I went in on 11/16 for 9:00 am appointment to get a Covid test. The two women at the front were just so sweet, friendly, talkative. Very warm and welcoming. Even as I was leaving she remembered my name and told me to have a good day. The nurse was just as awesome as well as the doctor! Ive NEVER enjoyed a Prima Care before this visit. I hope I dont need to go back, but if I do, it will be this location.

Excellent service. Made an appointment and did not have to wait too long to be seen. Staff took the time to listen and understand my medical history. Highly recommend.

Went there for a first time (referred) to do TB test and it was a very pleasant experience. The lady at the front desk was courteous, knowledgeable and I want to remark this since we been visiting few offices and no one helped us the way was she did. Also the nurse was very nice and kind. The staff is very sweet and the doctor was very thorough. I felt like I was at my regular doctor. It far surpassed any urgent care experience I ever had. I love that they have a membership program to reduce costs. I highly recommend.

I was able to get the help that I needed on a Saturday. The staff was easy to work with, waiting room and interior hallways sufficiently spacious and ventilation good. Appreciated that waiting outside was also an option, and the online check-in procedures.

I came in this morning because I had an appointment to get a Covid rapid antibody test. My first encounter was with the receptionist (straight brown hair, young). At first, she seemed she might be okay. But as I was having trouble with my phone checking in, she became rude and condescending like she was losing her patience with me. When I told her I already filled out the online paperwork last evening from the link, she said “well you could have told me that before”. However the medical staff were all kind.

Let me tell you this place is on point, they care about their patients the doctors are so sweet and attentive every time I have to go here. I have been taking my 3 boys for the last 12 years. It’s clean, kind, and they have the best interest. I recommend very highly. ❤️🙏🏻❤️

I hate giving bad reviews, specially when the staff was very good. We brought our daughter with fever and some symptoms. The Receptionist was nice, polite and very friendly. The nurse was amazing, she put herself in our shoes as a parent. Kept our daughter at ease. All was going well.The doctor came in and i was about to lose it. She had to check my daughters ears, had me and my wife hold my daughter down. Then realized that the room was not equipped properly.Switched rooms did the procedure again, and forgot her computer. She noticed we were upset.I don’t know if she didn’t know how to deal with an infant. It seemed like she did not want to do her job.She had me get a swab to run a flu test for my daughter. She never took the time to read the nurses notes. Then had me come out of the room to talk about symptoms and fever but never had any accurate information. We told her about a rash and seemed like she didn’t want to check it out.When trying to give me a diagnosis of what was happening she had no clue what she did. She started asking me what ear she had checked.I swear that thanks to the nurse who went above and beyond is why I decided to give any stars at all.Just seems frustrating to put my child’s life in someone else’s hands that is not prepared nor understanding.To top things off she sent two prescriptions to two different places.So Nurse Stacy, you are amazing thank you for being a true professional. We thank you for all you did.

The wait time was a bit much. Sara was very kind and helpful at the front desk. Honest - it wasnt anything to rave about until I got a phone call to check on my health status that made me want to write this review. The most impressive part of the visit was the FOLLOW UP! They actually care!

I was skeptical of going back because the time my husband and I went to get TB test done to become foster parents...the front office girl was horrible. We went in today and the new front office person was awesome. The NP was amazing, the nurses were amazing! It restored my faith in this place!

I went to PrimaCare on Saturday, November 10 at 8:00 am for an eye infection. I was taken into the examine room within 10 minutes and Dr N Verma was examining me within 5 minutes. She gave a thorough exam of my eye and determined I had conjunctivitis. She prescribed eye drops and off I went. I was out of the by 8:30 am. I definitely would recommend this office. I was treated in a timely manner, and with respect. I was impressed with all the staff at this office. And my eye is much better!!

Walked in for COVID-19 test. The staff is very busy but thats through no fault of their own. Front desk is efficient & honest about the wait (90 min.) Back office was professional, congenial & efficient. Dr. V was speedy but she was thorough & SO nice. Given what theyre dealing w/I think they did a great job.

Can’t remember The nurse’s name but she was really cool! She did her best to keep me happy she’s very out going and so was the doctor! They were really sweet and everyone there was super humorous. I work for a periodontist so I’m familiar with the role of making patients feel comfortable so I really enjoyed coming here I recommend this place to everyone

Only problem I have is that the wait times are unacceptable! I received this survey before I even checked out today in the McKinney office & after already seeing the PA, I’M STILL HERE an hour & 1/2 later! If patients are required to be on time for the visit, why can’t providers do the same & respect our time? After all, we are there because we don’t feel good! Who wants to wait in a hard back chair that long? It’s just sad that there’s not much compassion anymore!

Great experiences here. Not too long of a wait, super-friendly staff all around — and knowledgeable (and good about sharing that knowledge). My toddler was terrified, and they did such a great job making her feel comfortable to assess what was going on with her.

The front office staff was kind, and wished me good health multiple times during my visit. And the doctor was extremely kind and patient, as I lost my voice while in the facility. I am definitely going to go back, and send my husband here - should we ever have need again. Thank you for making a tough situation more tolerable.

I visited this place back in June , they sent me bill two months later for me and my sone with unrealistic charges there . I called to understand the agent said it looks like there is an issue I will call the McKinney Texas clinic and get back to you. Of course nothing happened after. I decided to pay it and not use their service again specially they havent helped me that much in medical side . I paid my invoice through doxo it took from them two month to clear the check and they havent applied the payment into my account , called three agents this morning heard three different scenario, I have all the the support documentation that shows they cleared the payment, however, Im still showing I have the same balance, called emailed spent almost for hours with no luck. Please dont waste your time there . ITS SO FRUSTRATED

This is the place to get healed up and back to your normal self. Dr V is the best and she always has the nicest staff. She has always taken good care of me and my family and she’s not even my PCP. This office is a wonderful trustworthy asset to the McKinney community.

Overall the staff is great. However, the Nurse Practitioner (a black woman & I’m not sure of her name) surprised me by indirectly blaming me for getting Covid because I did not get the vaccine. While the vaccine has been available for some time, as she so passively stated, her attitude behind it was incredibly off-putting, which led me not even to want to disclose the questions I had. Fortunately, I was able to consult with a different nurse following. Nonetheless, I hope she learns that there are ways to hold that discussion without being passive-aggressive and with the understanding that everyone is not at liberty of discussing the true reason as to why they haven’t been vaccinated, and especially to someone who isn’t aware of their demeanor. To someone who isn’t aware of how they are coming off to others, know that how you hold that conversation matters. A good way to start is by controlling your personal biases when speaking with patients and understanding that some people will not want to discuss anything with you for several reasons. The first is how you, unfortunately, guided the conversation.

This was a fear urgent care facility! Clean. Friendly. Quiet. Everyone was kind and helpful. Doc was great. I’ll def go there again.

Clean. Nice WR and triage staff. The providers are helpful and knowledgeable. Only complaint is the wait time even with an appointment. I’ve been twice now and have waited an hour each time with an appt which has seemed to be the same time as people who presented as walk ins.

I went to Primacare when my doctor’s office was booked and couldn’t see me. Everyone was absolutely amazing! Sometimes you can feel rushed at places like this (especially on a Friday) but not here. Every person was friendly and helpful; making an experience worthwhile and comfortable. Guaranteed to be the only urgent care I will go to from now on!!

The initial impression was good and I was told that after insurance pay, my cost was $22 that I paid on the spot. A month later I received a bill demanding about $88 extra, detailing that the actual charge was $290 and my insurance allowed for only $180.They have the audacity to charge $290 for a 10 minute visit with a nurse for sinus allergy medication prescription while, as I was told they dont even have a doctor on site, and they present the charges in steps?These are predatory business practices that should not be tolerated and are being brought to the attention of the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Better Business Bureau and Ripoffreport.com

I got a TB blood test done here and paid the amount they told me for the test. Weeks later I received a bill from Quest diagnostics of $336.34. They did not mention that I might received this bill at all, otherwise I would have opted not to get the test done here. I called them and they said it is not there responsibility and that I have to pay the lab.

My mom was seen tonight at this location. The staff was amazing. The nurse tonight handled her with such care and patience. He also cleaned my cut finger and bandaged it up. I did not get his name but such a kind man. The doctor was very caring and kind. I highly recommend this location.

I happened to have my blood draw with a technician who’s fairly new and couldn’t get the vein on the first try and had to do it again on my other arm. I’ve gotten many blood draws in the past because of my profession but never had this issue before. Definitely not the greatest experience.

I’ve seen Teresa three times in the past 12 months. She’s amazing. She listens, explains, never rushes me out. She’s intelligent, experienced and knows what she’s doing. She’s better than my Primary. I would recommend this clinic and Teresa to anyone.

Every time I go to Prima care it is a great experience. The front office girls are kind and helpful and The Wait time was not long. Doctor Verma is very knowledgeable, thorough and ready to listen without rushing. I have a great deal of confidence in her and would highly recommend her.

I am from out of town and my medical plan directed me to NextCare. I got an appointment for the same day and only waited about 10 min. The staff was very thorough and listened to my medical history and concerns. I felt very wel diagnosed and cared for.

I scheduled an appointment for 3, but we did not get seen until 3:45. That was definitely a downside. But the nurse and PA were both extremely helpful and the PA made the experience so worth it and very enjoyable. She asked great questions and was helpful even in areas that I had not originally gone for.

Friendly staff, clean and fast! I did go in a Sunday morning so that’s probably why it was quiet but wait wasn’t long at all and we loved our doctor. This will definitely be our go to urgent care.

I have been to a few urgent care facilities, in my time. This one, by far, was the most considerate, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was not feeling well and I was happy to be seen so quickly. Everyone was very professional.

Used this location twice. First time was super professional and accurate with their assessment. Was back to health quickly. Second visit was with 17 y/o son who out of an abundance of caution, needed to be tested for COVID. Git a spiel from the Nurse Practitioner about how no big deal it was or cases are going down, but the media sensationalizes everything. Completely unprofessional handling yo bring in views like that: facts - still no set treatment, still no, vaccine death rate in 4 months higher than 8 months flu, and still not through this pandemic, but the NP acts like expert. I lost a friend to it, but hey, no big deal. Left me to have a conversation with son after leaving because he felt even if positive he should go back to work or go out with friends. Will not be back because political agendas rise above medicine - ignorant. Thank God he was negative.

Very professional and personable staff. I will go again if the need arises. They are better than my own. GP. I CAN NEVER get a live person when I call my doctors office. I leave messages and IF I am lucky three or four days later I get a response. Pathetic! I think I will make this establishment my primary care facility in the future.

The front desk attendant is absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional staff assistant I have run into in a very long time. She is brunette with long, somewhat curly hair. She is awful and treated everyone that walked in with disgust. Very bad experience here. She should be fired immediately.

I did a quick search of quick care clinics in McKinney early Sunday afternoon and chose Prima Care on ElDorado and I’m glad I did. Though there was a bit of a wait this facility was ran very smoothly. Raneesha at the front desk is a gem! I genuinely felt welcomed and at ease immediately. It wasn’t just me either, I had the opportunity to listen and observe how she treated everyone, both in person and over the phone. When my time came to go back Dr Verma’s nurse took my vitals and info then within a very short time the Dr was in. Highly recommend this facility and should the need arise I will definitely return.

Finally there is a fast ER that accepts almost all of the insurance in Texas. I am a very sick person I have Lupus and for me to be going to regular hospital just for a flu or something that a fast ER can do it was just not fair until this ER! I’m so happy I hot checked yesterday with no issues and the staff and the doctors were really nice. If my son gets sick ( knock on wood) I would bring him here to get checked.Thank you.

Dr. Verma is very thorough and she listens. She spends the time needed to ensure she makes the correct diagnosis and prescribes the best treatment. She us trustworthy and makes her patients feels comfortable.

First Visit to an Urgent Care Center. I landed at the right one. Excellent Staff and care experience. The only thing that I did not like was the need to use my phone to fill out forms and capture id. I did something wrong I am assuming and had to start again a few times.I do not like to send my personal data over internet when I am right there.

From the check in to the treatment to the dismissal, everything was wonderful, fast, friendly & a great experience!! Sofia, Ashley & Stacey were all so very kind & compassionate!! I will tell ALL FRIENDS & FAMILY to come here!!!! This IS the place to go for excellent quality care!!

This is my 3rd covid test I get in the past month and without a doubt I can say this has been MY BEST experience. All the staff, including the Doctor, was very friendly and caring. So here is the deal. Staff is great, facility is great doctors are great, nurses are great ... But the wait time is not! I had an appointment at 3 pm and was not checked in with the med tech until almost 4 pm and right now it is 4:31 pm and still no doctor. This is simply not acceptable. You have to change your system! Any other business or service gives you a time and are held to it. Why should physicians be any different? This issue is of course not just prima cares but the entire industry. Who ever changes this portion of their client/ patient experience will be the big winner and revolutionize medicine in the United States.

I scheduled my sons athletic physical appointment yesterday for today at 6:30. I did the online documents, uploaded information. Checked in by 6:06, well still here at 7:15 and two people called back before us. Receptionist lacks eye contact or verbal communication skills. When asked about waiting time, basically without looking, I was told “we go based on your appointment slot”. Okay so still not being a jerk sitting here almost one hour after my appointment for a sport physical that takes 5 min. Working in the medical field as a nurse for 14 years, shame on them for the lack of energy or professionalism.

I arrive 20 minutes early to my scheduled appointment to wait over an hour with a waiting room full of people obviously waiting a long time to be seen.Multiple people have been called that were not here, most likely bc they got tired of waiting or they were simply forgotten.As Ive sat here Ive overheard the receptionist talk about how a woman on the phone is upset over her prescription never being sent through...And when she went to check someone in she didnt realise that they had an appointment!!

Dr. Verma is the best! Been seeing her here for years. Staff is so kind! I did mobile check in and it was very quick and easy. I would drive 100 miles for this care! They are beyond caring and compassionate !

I love coming wether I am sick or need X-rays. But my last 2 visits I’ve been disappointed with the back staff not the providers just the back staff. I’ve had on both occasions dirty rooms and beds that have been used by the prior person that had been seen. I’m not there to get more sick.

DeAnn and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly, patient and informative while explaining my insurance benefits and cost to me. I was taken exceptionally care of by the back staff that included Stacey and Theresa. Dr. Varma and the rest of her team including the clinic and front office staff were very friendly , patient and caring when providing care to my father. Dr. Varma, is exceptional in her treatment and communication and provided my father with excellent care and guidance and put us All at ease.I would recommend anyone to seek care with PrimaCare, for any Urgent medical care they need,; as the staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and professional!Besides, they have an excellent plan for those who do not have insurance, and is much affordable, compared to the mighty ER bills.

Walked in without an appointment, front desk was friendly and helpful with insurance questions, we were escorted back to see doctor in 10 minutes, my daughter was given a shot and we were out the door to pick up Rx in a total of maybe 30 minutes. We will use again. Thanks for being so fast!

I mentioned that I pulled my son out of school for a 9:45 appointment and was told “it’s more like a reservation to reduce your wait time”. But like…. It’s after 11. Still no provider. Should have gone to Care Now.

Having been to Primacares McKinney location many times over the last 10 years for myself and family, I am always impressed with the level of care they offer as well as the follow-up and sincere compassion for their patients. I recently went in due to an infection and was seen by Dr. Verma. She is such a wonderful, caring and knowledgeable doctor and I couldnt have been more pleased with how I was treated both as a person and as a patient. I was so pleased that I joined the PrimaCare Direct health plan and intend on using them for all my familys general and urgent care needs. I highly recommend them and feel that they are the very best rapid, urgent care health facility in McKinney.

Took my father to get a PCR testing for him to be able to fly out of state, and the work Lady’s where very clear and helpful also answered all our questions. The only issue is that we where there 10 min before the appointment like they said to be, And didn’t took us in until almost an hour later from our appointment. Hope next time to it would be a little bit more on timing from the appointment.

The lady at front was nice and Courteous.. The nurse that took me back was fabulous.. I had my two girls with me so I had the makings of a circus .. She was as good as it gets.. Just moved to Prosper and me and my girls have found a place that will be our health care facility..

I did not make an appointment online. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly. My granddaughter was with me she was also sick, was able to get her in and out along with me. The ladies at the front desk were kind enough to help me out when she was falling asleep on me by bringing me my cards back.
