Barry Burrows, MD

One of my favorite Doctors, Dr Barry Burrows, joined Middleton Family Practice and I followed him there. Dr Burrows is fantastic! He has a great sense of humor, really listens to his patients, is caring, compassionate and has extensive experience/knowledge in his field. I highly recommend him!I also like the ease of being able to schedule or change appointments online. I am very satisfied with Middleton Family Practice

Ive been seeing Dr. Burrows for over 20 years. Although its one of my least favorite type of appointments I have to go to, I always look forward to seeing his smiling face and hearing a joke. I moved a hour away to NH but hes worth the trip. Hes always knowledgeable, present and personable.

I have seen many practitioners here and I have been very well taken care of. I really appreciate being able call and come in for a same-day appt, or within 2 days. Knowing they have a large team of practitioners, I know my health concerns are addressed quickly. Ive moved twice since I became a patient but I still make the 1 hour drive to go where I trust.

Personable, attentive, he engages and makes you feel comfortable ALWAYS. I’ve had my share of OBGYNs and in 37 years I haven’t had a doctor like Dr Burrows. He’s truly amazing!

Dr Burrows is great! He’s empathetic and patient. I felt heard and totally supported, with all my questions answered in a kind and caring way. Rare… he’s great!

Dr. Burrows was delightful. Thoughtful and listened. Took his time and was quite thorough with his questions. At 66 years old I was fairly hesitant to go to a male doctor but I found I was comfortable with the visit and will have no problem with my follow up with him!

Middleton family medicine is everything one would hope for. The doctors, nurse practitioners and support staff are caring, competent and fully engaged with their patients.

Dr Barrows has a wonderful welcoming presence, no arrogance, treats you as a caring human being should with respect and dignity! I felt very comfortable with him as a new patient. Dr Barrows has years of knowledge in womens healthcare and recommend him.

Doctor Burrows is top notch Doctor.I’ve known him over 40 years.He helped me through delivery of my daughter as well as performing another surgery that was ……I Love ❤️ him Always is so kind and gentle. I would give Dr Burrows my highest recommendation. He was extremely compassionate and caring for me during my pregnancy, labor and birth of my daughter. I am a home birth midwife, and when it came time that I needed medical care during my pregnancy, Dr Burrows was more than I could ever have hoped for. I have worked with many, many Obstetricians over the years, and I feel that Dr Burrows was the most respectful and kind-hearted doctor I have encountered. He truly treated me as a partner in my care, and listened to everything I had to say. I will remember his kindness forever.

When it comes to Dr.Burrows he is the best of the best. I have been dealing with a health issue for a while now and he was completely interested in what I had to say about it. He takes his time to understand who you are as a person and to make the best decision for you morally AND medically. I will not go anywhere else besides his office and I advise people to do the same. The way he and his office make you feel like youre truly taken care of is one of a kind.

Dr. Burrows is a Great doctor! He is very thorough and takes his time with his patient to answer any questions you have.

Dr. Burrows is my hero . He did my c section on February 17,2019 for my little girl he was peacefully and helpful during my progress of my c section . As he was doing my surgery he made sure I was laughing and happy . Now 3 years later I am going to have a baby boy due August 9 2022. Im hoping he can do my c section again because I felt so safe with him and calm . I wouldnt want to put my life in anybody elses hands

Dr Burrows is the best doctor I’ve ever been to. He really cares!!! This whole practice is amazing! 5 star!!!!!

If you are someone who has a vagina and want to be shamed for having one then by all means go to this doctor. Had a friend recently go to him regarding abnormal bleeding and other issues. He proceeded to call her a “dirty girl” and when she mentioned she was still actively bleeding today he said that was “gross” you would think a doctor who specializes in women’s care would know how these comments would be inappropriate and uncalled for. Perhaps don’t work in women’s health if vaginal blood is “gross” to you.

Called my close friend a “dirty girl” when she went in for an STI screening - extremely unprofessional and judgmental. When she mentioned that she was on her period he said “gross”. Id avoid this “gyno” at all costs unless you want to be shamed for basic bodily functions!!

The care I received was excellent. Highly recommend!

Is the only doc that uses staples instead of glue, for c section. Why? Cause thats how he likes it. Hes also the only male surgeon here. Im guessing he doesnt care about leaving scars. But maybe theres another reason?

Please dont retire until I have my last child with your help to deliver. You made my emergency c-section so calm and peaceful I dont think I can trust anyone else with my and my childs life. Thank you for all that you do.

Ridiculous wait times and scheduling backed up over a month even for urgent Dr referrals. Typical non caring staff found in Layhey Group practices.
