Dr. Allen and his medical assistant were patient, professional, kind and caring. I appreciate Dr. Allens thouroughness, knowledge, patience, and determination to help me. I felt like he really listened and cared to help, unlike my previous experiences with providers. Everyone I encountered in the office was professional, kind and helpful.

The office staff were inviting and efficient. I was welcomed and taken back within a few minutes of arriving. After a brief wait, I met Dr. Allen who I feel took genuine interest in my healthcare concerns. He answered my questions, provided guidance, and together we created a care plan. Follow-ups were taken care of as outlined and the prescription was called in before I got home. Wonderful experience!

Marie Murphy made me feel relaxed and answered all my questions promptly and confidently. She made an uncomfortable circumstance as comfortable as possible. She told me she wanted to wait for results to come back before she prescribed or recommended any supplements to be purchased, which tells me she cares about the patient experience and not the money or quota. Thank you Marie! Will trust her with any future gynecologist visits.Update: everything above WAS true, however once i left the office my experience changed. I had to reach out several times to get test results that were sitting in her inbox for 5 days past the timeframe due to them not being posted to my profile. She stated it should be ready by Thursday and I did not have them until Tuesday the following week. It probably would’ve taken longer to post if I did not call several times requesting the results. The receptionist was not friendly after me explaining how we are 5 days past the timeframe given. They told me Monday they would post it and they did not. I had to call Tuesday morning again and they finally ended up posting it at the very end of the business day. Super helpful when in office, but lost all communication and service when they collected my money. I understand catering to who is in office, but when you give expectations as a business, you should meet them. Very disappointing that my positive experience turned negative. I will not return.

Dr. Allen is a very knowledgeable physician and surgeon. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and explained outcomes for different options. He did not minimize my concerns and made me feel more at ease regarding findings. I did not feel rushed at his office. It was refreshing to feel like a valued patient instead of a number. His office staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful.

This was my first visit.. My doctor retired and he recommended Dr. Allen. So far, so good. The front desk people are very kind and It was a very easy check in. I waited over 20 minutes but I didnt mind because when I saw the doctor he took his time to explain things to me and I left feeling informed. I finally found a Drs office with reasonable cash pay rates do to no insurance and that has a lab onsite. Always able to get in with no problem. Everyone that I have referred here has also been satisfied as well. I would highly recommend this practice. I receive Biote identical hormone replacement and female exams.

I needed to find a new doctor because of an insurance change and based on great reviews I picked Dr. Allen. All the reviews are true! He spends a good deal of time with new patients and made me feel very comfortable. I ended up having surgery and everything went well. You wont be disappointed!

I feel this office isn’t very friendly and when you ask the front office a question they’re rude. I’ve left 2 voicemails for a return call and still haven’t been called back. Needless to say I’ll be finding me a new GYNECOLOGIST office.

I’ve only had one treatment so far, but found Dr. Allen to be very personable, and informative. He’s down-to-earth and doesn’t mince words. Updating Review:Still highly recommend Dr Allen! He is absolutely amazing.I wanted to update because I had a surgery with him recently.He is so wonderful. Hes knowledgeable, personable, caring, and has fantastic bedside manner. I trust him & truly hope my review can bring someone to him who is in need of a good gynecologist!His front desk girl is still very angry and miserable, very rude, but she doesnt even acknowledge me anymore when I walk in so perhaps her problem is with me. If you see a girl who looks like she just ate a rotten egg, thatll be her. Dont let her ruin your first impression of Dr Allen!Also, the staff doesnt answer the phone often, and it takes about 2-4 days and oftentimes 2 voice messages to get a call back. So if you need responsiveness, you wont be able to continue going here despite how great the doctor is.

I would give the practice 5 STARS, but the staff that supports the doctors are less than desirable!!!!! They are unfriendly and detached from the doctors and awesome service which they are providing!!!! There is not love for what they do!! Their attitudes are bare minimum and lackluster!!Please separate the great work the doctors are doing. They are patient and interested in their work and your health!!! I continue because I love both doctors at this practice.I just wish the staff once you go back would adjust their energy and act like they are interest or care just a little bit. How about pulling your heads out your personal phones and life!!!!! Look up and speak. You have a patient!! Smile!!!

The staff was very nice. I had a hysterectomy done July 26 and Dr Allen was very thorough with examining me. He knew what I needed and discussed it well with me and my husband.At the hospital he talked with us and kept my husband well informed.

I am used to waiting in a cold windowless room only to have the doctor walk in, talk to you for a few seconds and leave. My experience with Dr Allen was quite the opposite. I was actually invited to his office and as a new patient he went over my medical history with me. He is very pleasant and attentive. The staff is helpful and courteous. Dr. Allen himself was wonderful! The staff on the other hand wasnt the best. They were so so. Theyre not really engaging, and they dont carry that Youre the patient, ill help you in anyway Attitude. They dont smile, or communicate that much. Other than that, Id recommend this office if things like that dont bother you. Dr. Allen was very informative, and I felt very comfortable expressing my concerns to him. He made sure to leave the floor open for any questions or problems I was having and willing to help figure things out! Very kind, and knowledgeable in his profession.

My first visit with Dr. Allen was a pleasant surprise. I found Dr. Allen, and his staff very professional and pleasant, both on the phone, and in office. My nervousness and anxiety was quickly reduced by being able to talk with the doctor in his office, still fully clothed, and sitting in a chair versus sitting up on a cold exam table wearing a paper gown. We discussed all of my concerns before transitioning to the exam room. My visit was efficiently handled without being rushed, I also appreciated his level of up to date knowledge on my particular health issue. If you are introverted, discrete, and private, as I am, or relaxed and comfortable discussing health matters, I would recommend scheduling an appointment.

Visiting Dr. Allens office is always a pleasure. Dr. Allen always puts the patients needs first and makes sure you have a full understanding of what is going on and what needs to be done. I cant say enough about Dr. Allen and his staff. My go to doc for all female needs and more!

I have been getting hormones from Dr. Allen with pellet insertion for over 4 years now. He is THE BEST!!!! He is always friendly and attentive. He always listens to concerns and is quick to answer questions. I have NEVER felt better and pellet therapy has completely changed my life!I had a hysterectomy and did not have any menopausal symptoms AT ALL!! The estrogen I get through the pellet is at healthy and normal levels with no up or down swings. I had no night sweats or mood swings...NOTHING. It is so hard to find good doctors like Dr. Allen! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in his field but his bedside manner is incredible. A wonderful experience at Dr. Allens. He is very down to earth and very easy to talk to. Hormones and weight conversation is a touchy subject to most women. I have been a patient of Dr. Allen for almost 19 years. He delivered all three of my children via cesarean, and he has now performed my hysterectomy. First visit today. So far so good. Dr. Allen is very personable and did not rush through the visit. He took his time to gather all the details, and went straight to work trying to work toward a diagnosis. He shared with me his suspicions on what the cause is and organized a game plan. He also thoroughly explained the pros and cons of treatment options once we are sure what is causing all the issues. We will see how future appointments go, but I am quite pleased so far.

It is an odd thing to wait on a receptionist that has her weekly pill case out twice popping pills. Lol the second time I came to the window they were still in her hand she was looking through them as if she didnt know what day it was. She popped one as she opened the window to speak with another woman. It was odd the office should playback the tape from 11:00am today. Definitely unprofessional and odd. However everyone else was pleasant and professional the nurse was a sweetheart and the other receptionist was very courteous

I had an IUD put in about ten years ago at another practice by a different doctor - it was extremely traumatic to say the least. Dr. Allen takes pain management seriously and made the IUD insertion process a breeze. One of the nicest and most genuine doctors I’ve met. Visiting your GYN isn’t always the most pleasant experience but Dr. Allen takes time with each patient and gets to know you. I love that about him. It is only my second visit with him and I am excited to continue year after year. My precious GYN is retiring so I decided to change after almost 10 years. At one point I thought Dr. Allen was a great doctor…I feel like $$$ may have changed that. Or perhaps it’s the new office girls he has running things (they are quite rude, don’t expect much personality out of them). After sitting for an hour and a half and not being seen by the doctor I realized this office may no longer be the right fit for me. When I walked out I asked for my card to be removed because they have randomly implemented a policy that you are required to have a card on file??? Can you say red flag?! There was no apology or concern. Just “okay.” Sadly I will be going elsewhere from now on

I’ve been seeing Dr Allen since 2005 and my introduction to him was a blessing. He was with me when I gave birth to my last child in 2006 and I really can’t imagine a scenario where it could’ve gone any better. Take it from someone who is anxiety ridden and a big weenie when it come to “those” visits, he’s one of a kind and goes above and beyond to make me as comfortable as one could be. He listens to me, cracks jokes when needed, and really does a great job at connecting with his patients. I’m so glad to have found him! Maury is legit, too, and the staff is also attentive.
