I had an excellent experience at AFC Urgent Care! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment I walked in. The check-in process was quick and easy, and I didn’t have to wait long to be seen by the healthcare provider. The doctor took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and provided the right treatment. The facility was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care for anyone in need of prompt and quality medical care!

Nurse Practitioner Katrina is amazing—she consistently takes excellent care of me and explains everything about my lab results in detail. I cannot say enough about the triple threat Ingrid, Julie, and Sarah. They are such an incredible team. They provided excellent support to each other and I. They made a challenging situation much easier for me. Their professionalism and patience really seem to set them apart from any other urgent care I have visited. They even inspired me to wear my glasses going forward. The facility was also very clean and orderly. I would not hesitate to use this location in the future. Great Job Ladies!

I normally don’t have time doing this but A week ago I took my husband here in AFC Aliana location. I was in the front 4:30pm no one had tried to help us. I understand 5pm is the time you close but if your patient is needing help because he is in pain. Wouldn’t you try helping? The nurse said the doctor have left even though it’s not 5:00pm yet.Today I came here for my self possibly allergy or flu 3:35ish finish my paper work 3:45pm waved in the lobby until 5pmNow I got to come inside 5:20 Ive been swabbed and did labs nurse sai wait for 15mins result!it’s now 6:08pm the Doctor haven’t seen me yet.I don’t know what took them so long! But definitely not recommending this place when you and your family is sick.It just didn’t seem they care enough to their patients sadly. 😢NP came In 6:10pm talked to me for a min saying about I have caught a Flu A 😷 we walked out 6:15

AFC is a great place to go especially if you need a walk in appointment. The team is awesome, friendly and helpful. Huge shout out Sarah the PA, she is thorough with a great personality and sense of humor. Highly recommend!

I find it extremely convenient to visit AFC, as it’s only a five-minute drive from my location. The staff consistently demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, offering attentive listening, assistance, and ensuring that patients are well-informed. Ingrid has been especially helpful and supportive, even providing me with valuable references outside of physical health to enhance my overall well-being. Annie, at the front desk, was efficient in processing my check-in and ensuring my information was updated promptly in the system. Going forward, should I need immediate care and prefer to avoid urgent care centers, I will reach out to Ingrid for any concerns or inquiries. I truly appreciate the patience and kindness shown during times when I’m not feeling my best, and I will continue to rely on AFC for all my urgent health needs.

I recently brought my son to AFC Urgent Care in Richmond (Aliana) and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. From the moment we walked in, the staff that brought us in was incredibly welcoming and attentive.The Nurse Practitioner was fantastic with him – they were patient, thorough, and took the time to make sure he felt comfortable and safe. The NP explained everything clearly to me and addressed all of my concerns, which really put me at ease. My son left feeling so much better, and I felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands.

10/10 recommend! They treated me so well and got me everything I needed very quick, nearly no wait time. Huge thank you to Katrina and staff, my experience was really awesome despite how bad was feeling, appreciate being treated with respect!

I decided to come here because it was new and close. They took Medicaid which is what I have for insurance. When I tell you the staff was absolutely amazing is an understatement. I have a newborn and a 3 year old. We came in because we were having a cough. The staff went above and beyond in their care for us. Having to juggle a newborn and a toddler in an office is already overstimulating as it is and they gave my 3 year old toys and stickers to entertain herself. They treat you like Family which made us feel so comfortable. The cherry on top for me was when they followed up to see how we were doing. 10/10 for me!

I made an appointment for 7:00 because I was feeling super down. I had severe body ache, ear ache, sore throat, coughing, and literally no energy at all. I made an appointment and Che led in 15 minutes prior to my appointment so I wouldn’t have to wait.They had some procedures going on which delayed my appointment. I was here for almost 2 hours! As much as I wanted to quickly be seen and leave, my luck had to wait even longer than usual.The girl who checked me in felt bad for me so she put me in a room and did the cultures, but even then it took forever!

The staff was very friendly. The dr was very friendly and very helpful. She took the time to talk to us and was not rushed. The only thing I would change is she didn’t introduce her self so I don’t even know her name. Will definitely use again

I have always had a great experience here. The staff is amazing, everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. They are also really good with kids, they did such an amazing job even when my 3 year old fought them the entire time. Anytime my family is in need of urgent care, we can always trust them here.

I went in to AFC for a sinus infection on Sunday and still didn’t feel well . I called to explain and spoke with Ingrid and she was able to get me a new appt to see Katrina the NP. Katrina was so great . Explained why I was still not feeling well and was able to prescribe the medication needed . Nurse Julie also took excellent care of me . She took my Xrays super quick with no wait , along with the additional testing that was needed . I recommend this clinic to anyone that needs assistance. They are fast, efficient and knowledgeable.

Great, fast and efficient service. They were open on New Year day while a lot of other urgent cares were closed. So grateful they were open. Flu is going around and it’s important to start the meds within 48 hours so I’m very thankful they were open and working today. I’m sure they would have rather been anywhere but work. 🙏🏻😷

Anna and Katrina were fantastic. I brought in my 4-year-old daughter because she was complaining of ear pain. At other places, we’ve been dismissed with a quick diagnosis of allergies and sent home without proper testing. However, here, they took the time to thoroughly test for several viruses and didn’t rush us through the process. They were both incredibly friendly and made my daughter feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality care.

Dr. Reber was amazing in explaining things and finding ways to figure out what is going on. She didn’t rush to just get me out of there, she took her time and treated me like a person and not just another patient. She ordered blood work and test that the VA would have taken weeks to even get an appointment for. I highly recommend this place! Thanks again Doc

We went there because of the 4.5 star review but that failed our expectations.PA was not overly concerned about infection control she didnt clean the skin properly prior to procedure. After procedure she used dirty glove to touch cabinets while searching for other supplies. I will not be returning there. The wait time was also long although I only saw 2 other patients there. Im only writing this review to invoke change and improvement with above mentioned concerns. Theres more to say about the visit but those are the most crucial points that should be addressed.

The establishment is built with perfection. Katrina and her staff made my experience pleasant. This is definitely one of the best urgent care facilities throughout the Richmond areas. Ingrid, Anisha and Anna were pleasant at a time of desperate need.

Mrs. Menissy was great. She explained herself very well, and was very polite. All the staff was great and willing to answer any questions we had. I would recommend this location.

Took my father for emergency and had a very good experience.The nurse and medical doctor was very professional . I had a great experience visiting this clinic for my first time. My first impression was the cleanliness and neatness of the facility . Check in was very simple and the wait time was very minimal. The patient care from front desk and medical personnel exceeded my expectations! Everyone was very professional, nice snd helpful. 10/10 recommend!

The staff were nice and welcoming. The physician assistant, Sarah Reber I believe, was exceptionally kind, attentive, patient and appears to have an overall great personality. I felt and appreciated her genuine care and concern.

I sliced my finger pretty good today and went into AFC Urgent Care Richmond Aliana and was taken care of almost immediately. I have used this location before and every single time the staff is patient, friendly and make you feel so comfortable. If I had my way Id come here for everything. Dr Sarah has such a wonderful at ease Manor that you cant help but be comfortable. I trust the staff here implicitly and you should too.

I recently moved to Richmond and was worried about finding a new urgent care because I use to have one I loved. AFC helped me so much by spending time with me and running test. It was a pre holiday night so I was worried about being sick all week, thankfully the ladies here took care of me and answered all my questions. Very thankful for them.

This is some of the best/quickest care I’ve received in a long time. The MAs, PAs, & NPs all were fantastic. They were all super polite, professional, as well as knowledgeable and personable. As a fellow healthcare worker it was such a relief to know I was in such good hands, especially with the bar being set so high, given my prior medical knowledge.Id wholeheartedly recommend anyone needing care, to drive, even out of their way, to get seen at this AFC.Special shoutout to the PA - Sarah and the MA - Ingrid.Treat them with respect and kindness and they will make sure you leave there on the right track with your health!

The best urgent care Ive ever taken my kids to! (Taken them to about 10 different ones). They took me at the time I scheduled my apt, they figured out the issue with my son, fixed it right away, and sent in prescription to the pharmacy right away. I left very satified. Theyre all so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

I developed a sinus infection while traveling; AFC saw me quickly, were upfront about pricing (my home states health plan wouldnt apply), and were very accommodating even though I was a big baby about getting a throat swab. They were even able to write me a new prescription for my inhaler that Id been unable to address before leaving for my trip! Obviously Id rather recommend staying in good health, but when thats not an option, AFCs got your back.

I came in for an issue and expressed about all the symptoms I was going through and the lady who is the provider here constantly kept talking to me as if I was stupid and told me I couldn’t complain and get helped for all 3 issues. From the words of her mouth “you can only be helped for one of your symptoms”. Then she proceeded to just give up because she wanted to I guess leave early and told me I would be refunded and I should have a good day. I will never set foot in this place ever again and I urge others not to. Completely ridiculous.

My visit to AFC (American Family Care) was a very nice experience. Easy check-in scanning the QR code. Service was very prompt. The nurse and x-ray technician focused on me and my pain issues. Doctor Katina Menissy was great! She diagnosed my pain issues and gave me a steroid injection and pain meds. The pain in my hip relaxed with in 10-15 min.All I could do is say thank you , thank you, thank you for being there when I needed AFC.

The girls at the front, my nurses assistant AND the nurse were all angels. I went in without much time and nervous about what I was going in for and they were all so sweet and helpful. I was in and out in less than an hour with treatment and I’m so grateful!

My daughter needed a physical to play sports in school. Called around 6pm and staff said to make an appointment to which I made one for 7:45pm (they close at 8). Went there at about 7:30 and was greeted with nothing but courtesy. From front desk, to nurse and the NP Katrina were all amazing. I know they were getting ready to close but I was never rushed and they treated my daughter really well. To top it off they only charged $35 for a physical vs my daughter’s pediatrician at $90. I will consider AFC in the future for minor medical needs. Ya’ll are amazing!!

I did not like the service and the atmosphere. The front desk couldnt verify the insurance even after providing the ssn of the patient. She realized misspelling the patient name. I get it we are humans. No patients ahead of us ...but it took 30 mins to be called in. The nurse practitioner walks in and the first thing she says Iam refusing care for my daughter because I didnt want flu test or covid 19 test for my daughter. Next question is what are you here for with attitude. I told them during the check in as well vital check Iam here for the ear infection ..iam thinking did she not check her notes?? She checks right ear stating its hard to tell due to ear wax and left looks moderate inflammation. Based on that she will give the prescription and started to walk off. I had to stop her bc I had questions. She didnt even disclose her name or asked if I had any questions or concerns. The air conditioning was terrible in the lobby as well in the room. It felt like 78 temp. Its not good for healthcare facility. I wouldnt recommend the Alaina Location.

I have been here twice for same thing- fist on 09/7/24 which was okay but I feel there was not enough done to help my kid. 2nd time on 09/10/24 I decided to take her back and I am glad I did because the Provider Sarah knocked out of the park. She examined my child, diagnosed and sent her antibiotics among other things. I am happy to say my kid is feeling a little better today. On track to 100% recovery.Thank you Provider Sarah! We will be back because of you!

We are new patients and had a positive experience. The staff was friendly, and the front desk was very helpful. Nurse Ingrid was efficient, and Menissy, the Nurse Practitioner, was friendly, knowledgeable, and assertive in treating my son.

Not worth your copay nor time. Go anywhere else. Time wasted and hasty, second-guessed diagnoses that certainly don’t instill confidence. Poorly-equipped; will take your copay just to send you off to a capable facility to confirm their guess-timated diagnosis. If you seek diagnostics or bedside manner beyond a the capabilities of a med student, save your money and time.

They have my utmost respect, so patient, kind, understanding and informative!! Katrina, Ingrid, Julia and Annie- thank you ALL FOR YOUR HELP and treating us with professionalism and empathy!! I will come back to this establishment again, bc I TRUST YOU! Been going to AFC Urgent care now for a couple of years for minor emergencies. The staff is always so nice and caring. Never had to wait an unreasonably amount of time and they’ve always been able to resolve my issues. They even follow up to check on you and make sure you’re okay. I definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care-Aliana.

Came here after a few days of not feeling well. I did not have an appointment and came first thing on a Saturday morning. There was no issues with seeing someone and I didnt have to wait but 10/15 mins, if that. Front desk was nice, facility was clean and the drs who seen me were very pleasant. Would recommend to family and friends.

Ive always been taken care of in a professional, and friendly way. I never go in with anything minor. This time I went in for a tight chest, ear pain, cough, congestion, and sinus headache. I was given steroid and antibiotic shots. Then a week of steroids and more antibiotics. Dr took a chest xray found pneumonia starting, ear, sinus and upper respiratory infections. I was told I would feel better in 3 to 4 hours. And I am on my way to work with a mask.Always this kind of caring treatment.This is about my 5th interaction in the last 3 yrs.Just to add to.... I had Covid 13 yrs ago when it was SARS. I was on life support 6 days and hospitalized 6 months. With physical Therapy for 3 weeks after that. I am very viligant about my lung health now.

The experience was amazing! The staff here are kind, sweet, and friendly. I was in and out for my physical, and they made sure everything was taken care of.

Terrible service here. Have been here a couple times and every time is terrible. Once I brought my daughter because her elbow was dislocated and they caused her so much pain by moving it around and did nothing other than give her tylenol. I ended up having to take her to Texas Childrens ER. They put it back in place within 5 minutes and she was painfree immediately.My husband recently had a mid day appointment and waited an hour and a half to be seen by the NP. So frustrating especially when you have an appointment AND called before to see if they are busy and was told no. Whats the point of an appt then?Probably the last time we will go here...

I came in for a possible UTI my Dr. was very personable and friendly. She gave me all the info I needed and was proactive on making sure we stay ahead of the infection. I am very pleased and would absolutely return if I needed care.

The care I received was phenomenal. The PA was on point and I wish she could be my pcp. She has an excellent bedside manner and I couldn’t have felt anymore comfortable. She was able to address everything I had going on right there without me hardly mentioning other things that were bothering me. With everything going on in the world this is the type of care we all need. Thank you again.

Do not go here on the weekend, especially if the Nigerian doctor is there he’s very rude very disrespectful and forces people to do Covid test testing and all kinds of other unnecessary testing and that’s all he does and after the test results come back he refuses to treat. The only thing he wants to do is give you Bromfed, which is black labeled box warning, and is not safe for anybody to take. My husband is type one diabetic and also has High blood pressure and arrhythmia mitral valve prolapse so he is wrong on all things and wants to give people steroids and refuses to give antibiotic

I have gone to this urgent care in our neighborhood a few times- for myself and for my toddler. Sometimes they do have longer wait times (expected because its urgent care and it depends on volume and what practitioners have to deal with), but they are all courteous and very good with care. A couple months ago, I went in myself for an infected wasp sting. The practitioner was excellent at retrieving the stinger (was not visible to the eye) and prescribed antibiotics for my skin infection to heal. I recently went in with a respiratory illness to get tested because Im pregnant and already high risk. They tested for Flu, Covid, and took a PCR with the results back 1.5 days later- which put me immediately on antibiotics for a mycoplasma pneumonia. I also had my husband bring in my daughter for a PCR to make sure she was fine (she is 2). Very professional and nice to have in our neighborhood. Very easy to call and I make appointments online ahead of time.

From filling out my new patient forms online, to only waiting 5 minutes. This establishment was so clean and friendly. I took a drug test and the whole process took just as long as the wait. In and Out.I urge all future companies and people to use these guys as your aid/partner.

I recently visited AFC about a week and a half ago due to a pretty bad injury to my leg. Upon arrival, I met Annie up front who was very responsive to my needs and got me in the back almost immediately! There, I met the nursing staff, Julia and Annie who were very attentive to me and got me to see Katrina who was very thorough in her assessment and got me the treatment I needed to heal up nicely! I highly recommend this place not just because of the wonderful staff but the thoroughness and convenience of the location and its professionalism.

This is the most helpful visit I’ve had in years. From doctors offices, to urgent care. This will be my go to from now on. The staff is incredibly attentive, welcoming, and gave amazing medical advice.

Courteous service with care. Everyone did everything they were supposed to do.I am feeling better today but totally not recovered. Still have chills and body ache. Theraflu didn’t work out for me. I had shortness of breath 15 minutes taking it. Frequency of cough has increased.When do you expect to receive the test results mucus samples that I brought.Please ask the doctor if I can do something to ease suffering.Thank you.

Well, I figured I had the flu, was feeling horrible, went there and registered online. Only had to wait a little bit for them to verify. I go there through the VA since it’s a lot closer for me than going to the actual hospital. But, was called in, got vitals done, questions asked, and they did Covid and flu test. A little while later, flu was confirmed and they sent my prescription to the pharmacy I said, told me things I could do to help and I was out. I don’t think anybody really likes going to the doctor, but I don’t mind coming here, I actually like it. My daughter took me this time and she said she really liked them.

Came in dealing with some uncomfortable stomach pain after vacationing in cancun. Sarah Reber took great care of me and also had a professional and welcoming bedside manner. Ran a few test and she prescribed me some medication. It’s been a day after my appointment and i am already feeling better.

Today my husband came in with a fractured hand, and Katrina got x-rays completed quickly and made him feel welcomed with her positive vibes and smiles. He always uses AFC Richmond and her customer service and care showed me the reasons why. The MA was awesome as well. 10/10 we recommend.

The 2 front desk workers were treating me very horrible. Im telling them one thing for my visit and start questioning me like I was a liar and a criminal. I had to ask if they were racists. Then one of them went to the back talking to the physician assistant about questioning me for my health. And the head front desk lady was like so are you going cancel your visit. I was the only person in the place. I will report them to my health insurance agent too. It was no way I could have trust them with my painful health care. Awful and unbelievable health service. Words cant say enough. This all happened today and now I am at another urgent care in a lot of pain. I wish they had a 0 to choose for their behavior

I’ve had to visit this urgent care a couple of times and they’ve been great each time. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and timely. I always make an appointment ahead of time so my wait is minimal. This last time I came in for an allergic rxn and they took me back right away. They were extremely thorough in questions and examination. I’m already feeling better. I will not be visiting often but when I have to, it will be this urgent care that I go to.

Anisha at the front desk was great and very patient, Dr.Katrina was amazing, she was very attentive and you can tell these people want to help you out and solve your health issues, unlike many urgent cares they just want to throw you some medicine and get your visit over with, they were willing to hear me out and explain what exactly is needed and why, I visited on Friday, and today (Sunday) they gave me a call to checkup on me to see how I was doing. We were able to make an appointment online right away. The wait was minimal. The front desk, nurse and PA were all patient and personable. The fee for a physical was given upfront so no surprises.

I recently visited this clinic and they were incredibly polite and attentive. They listened to my concerns and took the time to address them. I needed a shot, but they also made sure to have me wait in order to confirm that I wouldnt have any allergic reactions. This level of care and caution is something I havent experienced in an urgent care clinic since I moved to Houston area. I am extremely impressed and grateful for their service, and they will definitely be my go-to clinic from now on.

My three-year-old daughter usually howls at her pediatrician’s office, but the doctor at AFC Urgent Care was so calm, patient, and friendly, my daughter didn’t even cry when the doctor looked in her ears. This is a first! I will probably end up coming here more often than her normal doctor’s office!

The team of providers from the front desk staff to the medical team were friendly, helpful and kind. Despite dealing with longer wait times, which they apologized for and provided constant updates on, they never rushed me or made me feel like I wasnt getting their full attention. I would definitely recommend them to any one in the community.

Dr. Katrina is awful, but the other staff members were really friendly and helpful. Im doing my best not to pull the race card here, but Dr. Katrina was very standoffish and condescending. When I called days later to follow up about worsened symptoms, no one actually returned my call - instead another staff member followed up with me as part of their protocol, but she wasnt even aware that I had already reached out. Im grateful, however, that she did reach out because I wouldnt have heard back from anyone otherwise.Dr. Katrina also suggested (via her staff because she never talked to me directly) that I come back to the facility for an x-ray, which was clearly only encouraged so she could get more financial benefits from the situation. I dont have insurance so I respectfully declined. (I will give them credit for offering to waive the 2nd visit price so I would only have to pay for the x-ray, but I think it was her intent to have me come back from the start.) If you are black, try to avoid this doctor if possible. Im hoping my experience was a unique one, though.

Receptionist at the counter was only interested in collecting insurance information and least bother about addressing patients urgency. Center is named urgent care so priority should be given to treatment and not to run insurance and complete forms.Doctor spent less than 20 seconds to listen to me and prescribed anti-biotics for allergy I had. I am glad I took opinion of family doctor and realized that medicine given was not sufficient to cure my allergy. In short, poor diagnosis and no intent shown by doctor to listen to me or explain her diagnosis.I was given an estimate of $165 and received actual bill of $230. It proves that your receptionist/ clerk is not trained enough to calculate cost to patient and give approximation closer to actual.Awful experience... All your urgent care cares about is $$

I wasn’t feeling well, I was coughing uncontrollably. I went to AFC Urgent Care and was pleased with the service provided.The wait was a bit long considering I was the only one in the waiting room. How ever, the Physician went above and beyond to find the cause of my condition, and exceeded my expectations in her efforts. I felt immediate relief from the treatment she provided. Great service. I was a walk in with a sore throat. I had to have some test run, talked to the doctor, got my RX, and was out the door within 1 hour. Will definitely go back if needed.

My daughter has been experiencing some health issues and I have gone to a couple of other urgent cares in the past and felt so brushed off. I didn’t want to go back to one, but my daughter was not doing well. Sarah, Annie, and Makenna were so thorough and actually cared about figuring out what was wrong and making her feel better. She is doing SO much better about 12 hours later, and I am so thankful.

Very clean. Staff friendly but grandson was really sick and it took a little longer than I think it should have to get him to a room where he could lay down. Only one person in waiting room and I did not see anyone come out. But overall a good urgent care clinic for minor illness. NP very friendly and thorough. We would use again if needed

I’m a little biased but everything was great! Went to another urgent care closer to home but they told a 3 hour wait.. no thanks. I drove about 22 minutes to come to this specific location. They got us in much faster and we got seen relatively quickly. Friendly staff, Ingrid 😉, and the NP was super nice too. Wonder who’s running this joint cause they seem to be doing things right. 🤔🤣

I appreciated being seen so quickly,   I was going out of town the next day, and had developed cellulitis from a wasp sting.  It could have been a lot worse if not treated right away.

I showed up close to closing which I get is annoying but I was turned away because they stated that they had already taken their last patient back. I used to work for AFC Urgent and know that they are not supposed to turn anyone that comes in before closing time. What’s even crazier was that there was no one in the lobby and not many cars outside. I went do to a sore throat. Honestly, they could have looked at my throat and started my test prior to vitals and by the time my vitals were done had the test results. It could have taken less than 10 minutes but they didn’t want to do it. This isn’t the first time this location has turned me away either. I tried this location back during Covid they tried to turn me away and then tried to charge me a higher rate. I didn’t tell them at that time that I was working for a different AFC instead just took my mom to my location the very next day. I’ll claim some fault for going in near closing but honestly if they are in the game to help people then they should do that. If they just want to make a dollar then find a private doctor where it’s all about appointments and you don’t have to worry about last minute walk-ins. I probably won’t give this location another try as it’s clear they don’t care about my business.

I took my daughter for a bad throat to this urgent care. The doctor checked her well and prescribed some meds and asked me to reach out in case my daughters condition worsens. Next morning, my daughter was running a fever. I called the AFC urgent care to consult the doctor. The person on the phone told me the doctor would call me back soon. But no call came and I waited nearly two hours before I took my daughter to see another doctor. Thankfully, she was treated well by the other doctor. The call from AFC urgent care came much late in the afternoon, almost eight hours after my call. Im really disappointed by the level of care they showed.

There are not enough good things to say about the care I received here. The staff is kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. They leave you knowing they care, and they go the extra distance to ensure you are taken care of.As of Ms Katrina Menissy, angel in training. She really does care, and she makes sure you are taken care of, and is careful to make sure you understand everything she suggests, and prescribes.FANTASTIC PEOPLE.

I had a bad experience. The staff was not emphatic. I had severe eye pain with blurry vision and asked multiple times to go to the eye wash station and was told no by the front desk, nurse and the PA. The PA came in the room and then left immediately because she thought I was vomiting. I had to get the nurse to call her back. Im also Physician Assistant and believe this was just bad bedside manner and horrible care. I will not be coming back to this place again.

Very clean rooms and super fast service. The doctor and nurse were kind and courteous. I’m glad I came in because one more day and my clogged ears would have been terribly infected. They got me in and out and healed up fast. Got exactly what I need from an urgent care close to home.

Staff was nice, but Id to wait for over 30 minutes just for a simple 2 minute service. This can improve.

I wish I could say all good things about it because the provider is actually good. She knows her work but unfortunately I get the same experience every time I come to get my toddler and a child checked. The wait time is terrible! Easily 2 hours and more and they can’t even do anything about it! It gets so frustrating keeping the kids calm while waiting. Either the management needs to get more staff/ provider hired or make it clear before that the wait won’t be ‘Minimal’. Too bad for me that this is the closest to my place!

I had a very severe strep and they were amazing at helping me. They got me what I needed and the medication that night and I felt better the following day. They asked me the right questions to make sure they gave me the appropriate medication. Katrina was the one who saw and helped me. And everyone was kind and nice.

This is my favorite Urgent Care in times of need. The one thing people neee to understand is, you need to have made an appointment and it will be quick. But walk ins will take time like they normally do. The staff here is amazing - and the PA is always on point with her diagnosis

To start off.. we usually go to a different urgent care nearby. We have been unhappy with them the last couple of times so when my son became sick and his pediatrician couldnt get him in today I decided to try AFC. BEST decision.The NP Katrina was PHENOMENAL with my son. He was very scared and she worked magic to get the tests done that they needed to do.We will definitely be using AFC again if the need arises and we cant get into our normal PCP.

I came in for a cut that ended up needing stitches. Every single staff member I interacted with was super kind, professional, and patient. I didnt have an appointment and was seen quickly. This was so much more convenient than the ER. The paperwork was really easy to fill out too.

I live out of state but was very sick when I came to AFC Urgent Care. I was able to make a same day appointment on their app. Check In was very smooth with them taking my insurance. My daughter was congested and had a ear ache. I was able to take her to AFC and she was seen promptly. The sign in process was easy and Sarah the PA. and her entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend AFC to family and friends.

I confirmed with the agent on the phone that my 8-month old baby could be checked out. When I actually brought her there, the physicians advised that theyre not comfortable checking out her thrash which is ridiculous. Theyre perfectly ok with wasting my time.Not coming back here again.

I was in a lot of pain with my knee. The Practitioner diagnosed Gout very quickly which I’ve suffered from before. The people here are very professional and efficient. I’ve been in emergency care before with many rugby occurrences but this is the best place I’ve visited. The staff have a special chemistry that exudes relaxation even in pain. I would unreservedly recommend.

The staff I spoke with was kind and friendly. The wait was way longer than when I have visited prior with my 3 children on at least 3 different occasions. I was given prescription to go get filled. When we checked in they asked us where we wanted our prescription filled, but didnt call. So they didnt call it in, by the time we arrived to get it filled the pharmacy was about to close. In the past the meds were called into the pharmacy and we went and picked it up. No diagnosis, but I was given meds for pain. I am not sure how I feel about that. I dont take medicine at all. Not even for a headache, sleep is my medicine. Overall I thought I would have more information about the pain I am dealing with, but I have the same information with medicine. My experience with my children was better than my own personal experience to sum up the visit. I read on my summary that benefits and risk were explained before my shot. Not true! Only the benefits were spoken about when suggesting the shot for pain. No risk information was given. So please ask about both at any visit. Apparently I was supposed to be informed of both. If it is my kids I would take them again possibly because I felt more informed. I would not recommend for an adult unless they had strep throat or some illness. Maybe more information is given for things like that.

The front desk staff were kind and efficient and had all of my information from the website so I didnt have to fill the forms in at the office. Making the appointment online was easy. I swore i would never come back to this urgent care because of the front office staff. but now, i’m not sure how to feel about this location as a whole. i have gone to this urgent care before and out of those times there has been 2 times that i have had allergic reactions which went misdiagnosed. i ended up in the emergency room last monday when my lips began to swell from onset anaphylaxis. come to find out i had a delayed reaction to a medication i kept being prescribed by the same person. all of the doctors in the emergency room couldn’t believe the staff at this location had no clue what was going on. even with having my full medical history. fun times. do yourself a favor and skip this location if you value your life, would rather not bankrupt yourself from the emergency room bill, hospital stay, meds, carelessness, and the overall lack of value of care! fyi, if you’re a little too dark for their liking you may want to try some where else.

Woke up this morning with Sinus pain. I was able to schedule an early morning appointment and receive quality 5 star care.Easy check in, great staff, caring health care providers. I recommend this location!

I went in for a sore throat and slight cough. I did not have health insurance so it was self pay which included 2 tests. Provider only did 1 test (Strep) which I was told came back negative. Provider never bothered to check my ears, or hear my heart or lungs. Offered me steroid pills (prednisone) which is unusual and said to me “even if you have strep you don’t need antibiotic for it” which is never heard of. It was a complete waste of $165 as I felt like I was being evaluated by some student instead of a professional. Never going back to this location. I will also file a complaint with BBB.

We called our pediatrician, but they didnt have any appointments until Monday morning. AFC gave us an appointment within 30 minutes and took us in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wow I Absolutely was SOOO VERY Impressed with this Very Friendly, Caring & Efficient Urgent Care in Aliana!! I waited too long getting treated for a sinus infection & after 9 days I just couldnt shake the Horrible Lingering Cough, which kept me up night & day!! They checked me in, paperwork was quick & saw me in a timely manner. The PA on duty was WONDERFUL Ashley Moore & her adorable Loving Assistant, Ingrid took my info & vitals & later gave me, a much needed Stetiod Injection 💉 for my tight chest & inflammation. Also Dr Moore was so thorough in Perscribing Cough Capsules, Z pac & breathing treatment meds.Again I am & was SO VERY IMPRESSED with The Staff & the Cleanliness of their clinic. in Fact I will go to them now whenever I am sick and just go to my PC for my annual exam and bloodwiork, since they are also much closer to my house.Oh and I also need to give an Excellent Shout Out to the efficient, friendly front office Precious Girl, McKenna.. I first called & she made a timely Appt for me and I was able to shower, wash my hair and get over there. My son accidentally stepped on a Mechanical Pencil Lead and it was stuck in his foot.I could tell he was in quite a bit of pain.We took him to AFC urgent care. They checked for his Vitals and explained the process that they are going to do.They removed the pencil lead and advised what we need to for next 3 days.I was very happy with the way AFC staff took care of us and extremelely satisfied with their service.

I had the best experience. I am an athlete and had this unknown injury on my right thigh and PA Sarah was extraordinary. She reassured me everything was going to be okay and that no matter the circumstances shed have a good treatment plan to assist with my recovery. That a lone put me at ease and took away any fears I had at the time. I was concerned about maintaining a good workout routine and she gave me helpful alternatives which I started using right away. I had a really great experience. The doctor assessed and tested to see what was going on. And was very informative on medication’s. Gave me complete instructions on the medication. She was going to prescribe for me and answered all my questions.

After taking my children here, I knew that if I was ever in a position to need to go to urgent care, I would want the same quality care that they received. After taking ill myself, that’s exactly what happened recently, and I am thankful for the care, timeliness, incredible bedside manner and knowledge I received during my visit. Would definitely recommend!

Waiting time is to long after checkin. Usually after checkin is no waiting time. After initial assessment waiting for Doctor is too long. One hour 20 mins waiting in room

The best Urgent Care in H-Town. The scheduling process is fast and easy, and can be made from home. The facility is clean and spacious. The front desk and back desk staff are very nice and helpful. All the nurses that attended me and my family take their time to listen about our symptoms, they are very sweet and knowledgeable; and have given us the right diagnosis and treatments.You did a wonderful job choosing the best team!Thank you for being there for all of us♥️

Ive always had a good experience coming here! The staff here is very prompt and thorough in making sure theyre doing the right thing. I had the pleasure of having Ingrid as my nurse while she was teaching a student as well! And the FNP Ms. Katrina was very welcoming and engaging during my physical. I always come here whenever I need anything done!

Weve been to multiple urget care clinics since moving to Richmond, and the staff here at AFC has the best bedside manner of any of them! They have been helpful and kind from the moment we called about scheduling an appt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Came here for my daughters runny nose , barking cough symptoms since our PCP is not available for an earlier appointment. Ms. Katrina M saw us, did the routine test and suggested extra testing based upon my daughters symptoms. I was told up front that those test may or may not be covered by my insurance and the lab will send me a separate bill since they are of a separate provider. I okeyd on it knowing these test are important tools for a diagnosis hence right treatment meds. Yes, I payed $$$ base on my insurance pro rated price since my deductable has not been met, but thats not a fault of their own. And Yes, the wait was of some time but it would have been the same time if I have gone to our PCP. Would I use their service again given the same circumstances, YES I would.

Have needed care for both of us in past two years and grateful there is this in between when cant get in with regular physician but not emergency as such. Employees have all been great helping us get past this computer age world even to register. Today was my husbands turn needing medical attention and I would give 100 percent if that were an option as got us in with specialist within few hours which is usually impossible. Did all this without having to ask and did so with making sure specialist took our Medicare plan. Thanks to all Minnie and Michael Roehe

I came in for a drug screen for work. Despite being busy, everyone from the clinic was extremely nice and helpful. I cannot thank Raven, Ingred, or the manager Karen enough to getting me in and out when I still had a full day planned! Thank you for the great experience!
