Heidi Sungurlu, DO

Dr would not see me because I was five minutes late. I understand I was late- however I had taken off work early, had a 45 minute drive, and unfortunately, due to a road closure was stuck in traffic for 15 minutes, which is why I was late. Feel like she could’ve given me a break with only being 5 minutes late. I know it’s my bad, but this is super disappointing and frustrating considering I took off work- and had it not been for the road closure I would have made it. Hoping i can update my review and give more stars once I finally get a chance to meet her in 3 months when they can finally get me back in. Frustrated.

Dr. Heidi Sungurlu is hands down the best provider I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is the best in her field without a doubt. She confidently guided me through two challenging pregnancies, with complications during and following. I would follow her off a cliff. She is brilliant, responsive, empathetic, experienced and unmatched in professionalism. She cares for her patients in a way that is hard to find. I would hold on to her with everything you’ve got as an expecting mother (and after) !! Love you, Dr Sungurlu !!

Dr. Sungurlu demonstrated an unparalleled level of expertise in Gynecology. Her deep knowledge and skillset was evident throughout the entire process, giving me confidence and reassurance in the care I was receiving. She took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, treatment options, and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. Dr. Sungurlu showed genuine compassion and empathy. Its clear that she genuinely cares about her patients well-being. I would recommend my family and friends to see her, as a matter of fact, just today I recommended my daughter in law to schedule an appt to see Dr. Sungurlu!

Dr. Sungurlu takes the time to listen and be there for me through my health journey. Finally, I no longer feel like I am just a number in the waiting room! She has helped me navigate through health concerns with outstanding knowledge and professionalism. I know she cares deeply for her patients. I am grateful to have her as my doctor.

Every step of the way, my experience with Dr. Sungurlu and her office has been careless, awful and stressful. During my first appointment I felt as thought she did not want to listen to my concerns, but rather rush on to whatever she felt was more important. That being only one appointment I decided to give her another chance, but felt the same way after my second. Also, upon being diagnosed with a lifelong condition I was not given adequate information or care. She spurted out four facts, and gave me a pamphlet that had a few sentences on the topic. Additionally, I was given incorrect information so that the effectiveness of a treatment schedule was diminished...and then I was blamed for the discrepancy. Lastly, I have experienced more appointment cancellations (excluding the ones for her maternity leave) than at any other doctors office Ive been a patient at.I believe finding supportive healthcare is incredibly important and dont take leaving a review like this lightly. I honestly wish I could provide a zero star review for the care I have received.

Dr Sungurlu. Was a great dr. for 9 months…. And that was all. She did not deliver my baby. And never once followed up with me of WHY she didn’t deliver my baby even though she was at the hospital when My husband and I walked in… she looked at us like what were we doing in the hospital.. my husband and I were very unhappy with that response she gave us. Another Dr. stepped in and was a blessing took care of us. Never did Dr. Sungurlu come in and checked on us and let us know we were in good care.She had lots of information to give on pregnancy. She wasn’t pushy which I liked. She took her time and answered my questions.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Sungurlu. I can’t help but wish she had been the one to deliver my first baby. She is very understanding, to the point, and feels like a partner in the process. Very grateful to have her taking care of me this time around!

I think Dr. Sungurlu is a great OB physician. This is my second pregnancy, and I’ve had her for both so far. She’s extremely knowledgeable, personable, and makes me feel heard. I really appreciate the way she runs her practice. I had a cardiac issue with my first pregnancy, and she got things moving quickly and referred me to a cardiologist and subsequently an EP physician. She made me and my husband feel safe. Which is extremely important on your pregnancy especially because everything is new. I am an RN and have worked in close contact with many doctors, and I can say that Dr. Sungurlu is top notch. I would absolutely recommend her.

Dr. Sungurlu is a phenomenal doctor. I’m incredibly grateful that I had her throughout my entire pregnancy and that she was the doctor to deliver my baby. She genuinely cares about her patients— she is honest and clear in her communication when she has concerns. She acts with caution and is incredibly thorough. I don’t think I can say enough positive things about her or the staff at FCPP. It’s a busy office, so you’ll need some patience but it’ll absolutely be worth it in the long run! I truly couldn’t be any happier with my experience, I highly recommend.

Dr. Sungurlu has always been a huge support in my women’s health. She is knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to listen and work towards my personal goals. She is a wonderful doctor. Her office staff has always been kind and professional as well.

Dr. Sungurlu went above and beyond for me when she delivered my son 2 years ago. I was a very high risk patient and many doctors had turned me away and thank God they did because it led me to Dr. Sungurlu! She made me feel safe even when tensions were at a all time high. She truly cares for all her patients and to this day was one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. My son and I would not be alive without her. I also loved the staff. They were always friendly and very quick to help you with anything you need! Thank you all for everything you did to ensure my son and I would be okay.

I love Dr. Sungurlu’s office! They are prompt, thorough, professional, considerate, personable, and I love Dr. Sungurlu herself. I always feel that I am listened to and that I am a true priority at this office.

Dr Sungurlu is an amazing doctor! She is so easy to talk to and really thoughtful and skilled! I trust her with my and my babies life!

This lady ROCKS. I cannot go into detail, but, she knows her stuff. She took care of things that for a very long time needed taking care of that were not being done via my regular doctor. Maybe it is because she is a woman and from the same planet as all women, whereas male doctors have no clue since they are from another galaxy when it comes to what makes a woman TICK...mentally and physically. I mean, come on. A man will never truly know what it feels like to give birth, right? They can study it and talk to women about it, but actually what it FEELS like? No way. But that is neither here nor there. Dr Sungurlu (to remember her name, I call her SunGirl in my head) CARES. Truly cares. I am not a crier, but after seeing her and finding a hidey hole that is private, I cried. In relief. Im just an old woman but she made me feel safe again, after a very long time of NOT feeling in safe CARING hands.Want a woman doc? Call her.
