I have been a patient at this practice since I was 14 years old (I am now 28). I was originally under the care of Dr. Dickman and later Dr. Rangnath, but more recently, I’ve been seeing whichever physician is available. Rachel Gaman (I hope I’m spelling that correctly!) has been wonderful, and it seems all the physicians here are excellent.Unfortunately my recent experiences with the service and patient care have been disappointing. For example, my appointment today was scheduled for 3:15 PM. I arrived at 3:00, and as of nearly 4:00, I still have not been seen. The waiting room has been packed, and the process of checking in at the kiosk seems to be a significant pain point. Many patients appear to struggle with the system through no fault of their own, which causes unnecessary delays. I witnessed one individual take 15 minutes to complete her check-in. There doesn’t seem to be an alternative option for those who need assistance, and this only worsens the backlog.The office feels disorganized, which detracts from the high level of care I’ve come to expect from the physicians here. While I understand that delays happen, this seems preventable with better processes in place.I’m currently googling practices closer to home in VA with more positive reviews. I have continued coming here over the years because I trusted the doctors so much, but it no longer feels worth the inconvenience and frustration.

PLEASE do not go to this practice. They’re dishonest and will outright lie to you. They will talk you into getting a service you didn’t ask for. And even if you explicitly ask that they confirm there will be no out of pocket costs with the insurance policy for the patient, they will not do their due diligence. And will do nothing to work with the patient or the insurance company to right their wrongs. To correct their wrongly filed claims. They do not care at all for their patients. They will ignore your calls, messages, and emails. Please please don’t trust this practice. I am having to fight a legal battle with them as they have left me no choice. Berger-Weiss was my doctor. I only saw her once and she’s managed to misguide a trusting patient into a financial nightmare.

This office never educated me on anything during my prenatal appointments just tried to force me on whatever drug possible they could find. Dr. Newhouse was the absolute worst, having me wait over 30 minutes for every appointment until she came into my room where she completely rushed my visits and ignored all of my concerns. I was told I needed to be induced, which my baby didn’t like and then forced into a last minute episiotomy with vacuum extractor. The recovery was excruciating and I was left with no education on what to do/not do, just had to fend for myself. My baby is still suffering from multiple neurological issues that I’m sure the forced labor, baby aspirin, fentanyl and OxyContin etc caused. Avoid this practice at all cost.

Ive changed doctors due to the uncomfortability of how theyve recently started having with over the phone service and in person service.While the care of Dr. Maggid and Newhouse are the ONLY ones that are very caring and very informative I have decided to switch to a different clinic.It has truly gone downhill.My recent call having been in June when wanting to make an appt for my pregnancy. Theyre extremely rude over the phone with the question you think youre pregnant or you know youre pregnant? Truly terrible service.

I’ve been a patient for four years now. I’ve delivered two healthy babies. The doctors are great. I received high quality care and support throughout my pregnancies. I highly recommend this practice.

They don’t answer the phone. Ridiculous. I’ve been calling for weeks. No one is answering.

I havent seen an OB in nearly 6 years, so I was a bit nervous about going in for a checkup after so long. Everyone I met was very professional and helpful in showing me the correct paperwork to fill out and such. During my exam everything was explained to me before anyone touched me. I felt very safe and heard especially by the APRN, Emily Fredrickson. Great experience!

Have been calling and leaving voicemails for over a MONTH now with no response and no one ever answering the phone. Was told at my last appointment that they would reach out to set up my next appointment but that was nearly 6 months ago. Every other capital womens care office answers but you can only be a patient at one even though they all can access your file? This is hands down the worst experience Ive had in healthcare so far. Dont go anywhere else RUN ANYWHERE ELSE. Wish I could do no stars lol.

This office is slow and unorganized. You’ll go a while before being acknowledged and you aren’t listened to so you have to repeat yourself at the front desk.I didn’t much care for the gynecologist I saw. She seemed half present during my appointment. I was seen 6 weeks ago and still haven’t received a call about my test results smh. Also you can’t get bloodwork done in office so that’s a waste. At least Trader Joe’s is a block and a half away lol. Look elsewhere.

I had my second baby with these smart helpful women. I had such a beautiful experience with them versus my first baby which was with a different Gyno. The after care is just as great too. Definitely recommend.

Im not one to write reviews on anything, EVER. But this has been going on throughout all the years I’ve been going to this location ..this one star is for the receptionist at the front desk (although if i could go LOWER than 1 star I would). Every time I call for an appointment or when I go to an appointment they have attitudes. Its always the same two ladies sitting there giving off attitudes and being rude when you ask a simple question, they literally look at you as if you were crazy. I called not too long ago hoping they would resolve my issue but I was wrong. I was told to call 2 days later to speak to the doctor, as she could not help me (that was a lie). I called two days later as I was told, and the receptionist that answered (different voice, had to be different person im assuming) was able to find my information and help me in less than 5 minutes. I know exactly who I spoke to on the phone the first time I called, as I’ve came to this location for years now. Its always the same two ladies. Its a shame because I love the doctors but they have to change their staff at the front desk, they genuinely look unhappy there.

Wait time on the phone was almost 10 minutes, couldn’t even make a new patient appointment. Go anywhere else a lot of other amazing people!

This location and staff are fantastic! The front desk staff are friendly and capable, as are the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Brillhart - shes relatable and kind and very knowledgable. She takes time to answer your questions and concerns.

Dr. Artis did a c-section with my first baby girl.Excellent work, no complication or difficulties after the section. Even though there was an inappropriate comment made with her co-workers during the surgery, yet I lefted in a side because the most important was my baby and my health during and after the c-section. Scarf does not show that much. For the c-section they did it was excellent. No horrible pain as today that I choose OB GYN in silver spring located in holly cross apt for my 2nd baby because I move and it was closer. Yet wrong choice. However, I will truelly recommend Capital Women care near White Oak for a c-section.

I am giving this place 5 stars. The Doctors were amazing during my pregnancy to delivery. This was my first pregnancy and this 5 doctors met me feel comfortable. Very professional

I am glad I had been able to find a doctor that cares about her patients. We need more doctors like Dr. Jessica Berger-Weiss. She’s positive and has made me feel better about myself. Thank you for all you do!

Terrible service.............Doctors didn’t listen to anything I tried to tell them about what was wrong . Instead replies to you by saying “your over reacting “ . Then I ask them if they can do certain procedures because I felt as if that might be where the problem is located instead they did basic prodecures on me that couldn’t identify the problem . Also I already knew what wasn’t the problem . Then doesn’t call you to tell you’re results . Now they telling me to reschedule another appointment on the same reason why I came up there to test me on what I already ask to be check on ...............Terrible money scam......

Very friendly staff and a nice nurse I saw today. Everybody seems very helpful and genuine. Its nice when you feel like your stories are being heard and they care about you.

Ive used this practice for more than 20 years. I find it easy to make appointments. Office and drs are responsive. Highly recommend.

All service are very good

Best experience ever all the doctors are great they listen to your concerns and are very protective.

Front staff is horrible. Worst customer service. None of the doctors are worth the disrespect.
