3 stars because I LOVE my doctor, but something seriously needs to change. I have been to both Cullman and Birmingham for my OB appointments and the wait times are HORRENDOUS. A 20 minute appointment will quickly turn into a 3-4 hour appointment. And don’t even try calling the scheduling center or the patient care center, you’ll either never get an answer, or if you do, they won’t call you back to answer your questions. There are also a few staff members that are really snarky and kind of rude. (Morgan and Stacy are great, though!)

So far really bad look. I made an appointment with these guys and I have been trying to reschedule it for the past 2 weeks I have called almost everyday and not a single answer. I’m really not even sure how I was able to make an appointment. It’s so frustrating because I looked for an email addresss and even called every other location to get some information on scheduling and they send me to the same line that is “assisting other callers” how many other callers can you possible have after 5mins of being open . I made sure to call right when you opened for that reason . Not a good look

I saw Dr. Dan Hudson for three years. I started going to the gynecologist when I was around 19 due to irregular periods. I was prescribed birth control. No complaints about that, the one he prescribed me has not given me any issue.Earlier this year, I realized I was going to run out of my medication 3 months earlier than my yearly exam. In the past, if Dr. Hudson had to reschedule due to conflict and I would not get a refill in time, he would call in an extension. This year, the receptionist just went ahead and scheduled me for my yearly. I had to take a day off of work to come to this appointment. They did not weigh me, take a urine sample, or anything like that. Dr. Hudson took me to his office and explained he had accidentally given me a 9 month prescription instead of a 12 month, and told me to come back for my yearly in 3 months. I was then charged $80 for an “extended exam” at this visit???? I was charged for a mistake he made. After this incident, I decided I would get my prescription online through Nurx instead.On top of this, I only had a female nurse present at my first Pap smear. A nurse was not present for my second yearly exam. I thought this was normal until someone told me otherwise. I bled for hours after the exam and Dr. Hudson did not explain what he was doing at any point during the exam. Throughout my entire time as his patient, it felt as though Dr. Hudson really was not interested in seeing me unless I was interested in getting pregnant.

I had my first pap and my birth control taken out and the doctors were very kind and explained everything to me every step of the way. They took great care of me and were very fast and efficient. I recommend them to any coming of age ladies ❤️

I would not recommend becoming a patient here due to ridiculously long wait times in the waiting room. I have attended several appointments, and for each one I have waited for over an hour past my appointment time before seeing my doctor, with each visit with the doctor lasting no more than maybe 10 minutes.And no, I am not someone who expects to be seen on the dot. You can check my other reviews to see that Im not a chronic negative reviewer (lol). I know things can happen that cause you to wait longer — but in this case it is a demonstrated pattern with this office based on my own experience and previous reviews (that I ignored because I thought it was an exaggeration! It was not). This pattern is highly problematic, especially considering the need for patients to take time off from work and/or other obligations to attend these routine appointments.

I just moved from out of state at 33 weeks pregnant. I havent had an appointment since 30 weeks (I am now 35w) and Henderson and Walton looked at my records and flat out rejected me as a patient. I am 23, low risk, second time mom with a hisyory of successful first vaginal birth. They would not even see me.

I’ve used 2 different H&W locations, and both have been exceptional. These ladies went above and beyond for me. They got me in the door very quickly when other places were estimating 7 months out just for an exam. Dr. Franklin is such a delight to be around, she always makes you smile. And she did amazing on my surgery. The surgery scheduling ladies went out of their way to call and solve the insurance issues I was having. Everything was very timely and such great communication, I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I called to check in on an appointment because I had forgotten when my appointment was. The lady I talked to was very rude and made it seem that me forgetting my appointment was my problem. They apparently cancelled my appointment( which was scheduled for today) because the doctor wasn’t in today. I didn’t hear anything about it until today when I called. They didn’t try to reschedule for later this month. The next appointment was in August.They don’t remind you of any appointments or reach out in anyway. I will not be going back to this place. The patient-doctor communication is abysmal.

Becky is simply the best! Shes so understanding, patient and kind. She really takes the time to explain things and that is very comforting to me. Dr. Short is great and the nurses and ladies at the reception and checkout are too. The people in the lab are usually very sweet. Ive only had one experience recently where a young woman in the lab seemed kind of dismissive. Maybe she was having a bad day and forgot that treating a patient like theyre a real person is important. Overall Ive always had a good experience here. The mammogram techs and bone density techs have always been great as well. I definitely recommend Henderson and Walton Womens Center!

The absolute best OB experience I’ve had. I could not think of a single negative thing to say if I tried. I had originally went with a different doctor but the day I needed an appointment, they were out so I saw Dr. Wall. Immediately after my appointment with her I decided I wanted to see her from here on out! Her nurses are all absolutely wonderful. She encourages her patients to speak up and advocate for themselves in all situations, she really takes her time with her patients and truly listens to everything you say. I would give her a million stars if I could!

Becky is amazing. I have never experienced someone so understanding and caring. She listened and gave me so much information that has been withheld from me from previous doctors. I truly feel like I now can go to the gynecologist and not dread it now. She’s such a genuine and gentle person!

Dr. Short is very nice and polite. The women at the front counter were also polite asking me how I felt and all. The nurses that did my blood work were kind too. Do not let these negative comments discourage you. I would MUCH rather have Dr. Short than Dr. Richard.

I had all 3 of my babies with Henderson and Walton and used them for 11 years, but had never been to the Cullman office. We just moved to Cullman so I opted to transfer to this location for all of my appts since it’s closer. I was kind of nervous after reading so many bad reviews. Let me just say, DO NOT let the reviews stop you from using them. They were absolutely amazing from the front staff to the check out counter. The nurse practitioner, Becky is AMAZING and so personal-able. She took time with me, talked about life, and listened to anything I had to say. It shows they truly care about their patients at this office. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking.

They put the right # on my file and cant seem to change it when I created it on paper work or on the Phone when they Rescheduled twice. I have not heard back from my test. My daughter had her first exam and wanted me with her But they Keep separating us, she still something wrong because of how her visit went. And she was Nervous and she quit and did know what to say. Very Disappointing. Just another office grab. For your insurance money they dont really care about whats wrong tell you That the problems your heavens normal. When you know its not normal.

The nurses could use a class in how to treat patients. Some of the doctors are so miserable they treat you awful. The only person in this building I trusted was dr.short. But even then when it came time to my second. I went to another doctor’s office. This one is very unorganized and very rude. Better off going to Taylor at cullman.

Dr Short is the absolute best..she listens and cares….wait times are no issue…Dr Short has helped me when others would not! I love her and will see no one else! She is a blessing

Really disappointing! I loved this clinic because of Dr. Meghan Poston, as she is friendly, caring and extremely knowledgeable. Sadly, the majority of her office staff at the Cullman location will be the downfall of her practice.I was speaking to a front desk nurse about an issue I had, when very threateningly a nurse from a back office, literally ran out and rudely asked me what I was telling the front desk nurse about her.First of all, she was not being addressed. Second, what professional person in the medical field acts that way? Embarrassing.I don’t appreciate how rude the office staff was to me on top of making me wait 2hrs after my scheduled appointment & I suspect it’s because I have Marketplace Health insurance.Thank you for giving me such a blatant reason to leave the practice! Hope you all don’t have a lawsuit in the future for what occurs to patients by nursing staff.

They will get you in the door but give you the run around on getting your results even when youre high risk for cervical cancer and got an abnormal result. They literally dont care about follow up and only what they can bill you/insurance for. Good luck getting any call in a timely manner when you work nights. They ignore your voice-mails especially when you say you will only get the call certain times. Or they call 5 mins before they close for the weekend leaving you anxiety ridden got days.They messed up my billing the first time I went in and decided to give them a second chance. My mistake.

The worst experience I have ever had with any doctors office. Period. My very first appointment with this office was at 1:30, so I arrived WITH my paperwork already completed at 1:10pm. The office was extremely busy and there were others waiting hours, just like me. What is the point of an appointment if youre not seen for a 1 hour and 15 minutes later? Just call the patient and tell them youre running late! At 2:45pm, I was finally brought back. I waited in the exam room from 2:45pm to 3:45pm and finally a person came in. At that time, I was extremely upset and cold from being left half naked in a paper gown for an hour. I have unfortunately been through a traumatic experience with a female gynecologist in the past, so was already nervous and worried about seeing a new doctor. After waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes, I was overwhelmed with emotion...The person that entered the room did not introduce herself, so I assumed she was my doctor. Come to find out, she was the assistant, Becky, which I was fine with, but thought my new doctor would be in to give me my exam. She was very nice but threw a lot of information at me in a very short amount of time, and apologized for their new computer system as that was why I waited so long. She ended up scheduling me to come back for some lab work in a couple weeks. Finally, I was able to leave the office by 4:30pm....and all I was there for was a routine exam/checkup.I went back for the lab work and really liked the phlebotomist and luckily did not have to wait at all.A week later I got a phone call from a girl named Megan who gave me some troubling test results. She gave me little to no information about the diagnosis, nor did they run a test that Becky said they were going to run and I wanted more than any other result. I asked for a copy of my results and she said I had to drive down there to sign something to get them. I asked her to please talk to Becky and see if they did run the specific test as I will gladly come back to sign the paper and have the test run if they couldnt find it in their system...again they apologized for a new computer system.I never heard back from their office. No phone call, no mailing, nothing. Meagan was supposed to call me on Monday as our conversation was the Friday before. They obviously do NOT care about their patients and are clearly a patient mill. Get them in, get them out and on to the next. You give me test results that are serious, but never call back, never follow up and have someone unqualified to call you with them. I felt like she had no idea what the results meant and just read them off a paper to me because when I asked questions, I could tell she was not qualified to answer.I called their office to find out exactly what I needed to do to get my test results and the girl who answered the phone said I had to come in and sign. To confirm, all I need to do is sign a paper and I can leave with my results? She answered, well no, if were busy, then we wont have time to pull your chart and make copies. If you need them send to another doctor, we can fax them. I said I will eventually but I want copies for myself too. I told her youre always busy as I waited 3 hours for my appointment, so I am not driving down there just to have to turn around and drive back there IF you decide to call me to tell me the papers have been copied. She put me on hold and only left me on hold for shockingly a minute and said since theyre only labs, I can come down anytime and get them. I am yet to do this so we shall see, but I do not hold any hope that it will be that smooth of a transaction.Needless to say, I do NOT recommend this office to anyone. Theyre clearly a patient mill, dont care about their patients, dont return calls, have unqualified people give test results and then dont care enough about you to have a nurse or doctor call you back to address concerns and go over treatment plans. They also want to put you on medication for something you dont have. For your sake, do not put yourself through what I went through.

Dr. Poston and staff are attentive, caring and ensure that they treat patients with respect. I have been provided with excellent care and follow up.

I suggest you hop in your car and drive to Birmingham or Huntsville. The office was beautiful. That is the only nice thing I have to say. I was referred to see Dr.Short by a friend that works at St. Vincents. After looking at the reviews I was hesitant but trusted my friend. Heck most places in Cullman dont seem to have ANY great reviews across the board so I was at a loss as to where to even go in the first place, but trusted my friend. Dr. Short may be the best ob/gyn in town but I dont know because I never got to see her. I originally made my appointment in Jan and it was scheduled in February then I had to cancel because my daughter was sick. Well then it was rescheduled for another almost month out. So Ive been waiting to see Dr. Short for 2 months now. I got there at 9:50, twenty minutes early for my appointment to fill out new paperwork. I got called back within ten minutes for a blood test, urinalysis, and BP test then sent back out to the lobby where I waited for almost 2 HOURS. Im usually fine with waiting, but when I finally got called back ,they had called a couple that was pregnant that got there after me , and was being seen before me. Then in the room beside me they were seeing a woman who sounded like she had an infection from a hysterectomy, before me. She was in soooooo much pain and I get it but maybe you should have at least talked to me about it besides leaving me in the dark BUT let me be clear I was there AN HOUR BEFORE HER, and really she should have been at the hospital to begin with. Either way it all started because they didnt let me know that Dr. Short had a complicated surgery earlier that morning until I was called back into the actual room. So I finally was angry enough to where I couldnt wait anymore. I left that office at 12:30 and I am now about to clock in to work. Im sad because Im having some infertility issues and was really looking forward to talking to her about it. I will NEVER step foot back in that building. Just for the sheer audacity they had to not forewarn me about how long it was going to take. Im a full time student, full time mother with a part time job and I dont have time to waste. I am greatly disappointed.

For the purpose of ultrasound, the techs and staff were great. Dr. Franklin was in the room less than five minutes, and super dismissive. At my second appointment: no BP, no weight, no sugar, no OB paperwork/labs etc. at 2.5 mos. Super dismissive of concerns. I was told after spotting, dizzy spells, and abdominal/back pain that I would be just fine unloading a truck, and written an excuse to just lift 35 lbs or less at a time (per box). Wasnt interested in pre-existing conditions (autonomic disorder/heart). Ive honestly had better care at an after hours with an LPN.

My wife had a endometrial biopsy done here and it was the worse experience she has ever had. They did not tell her how painful it was or even offer any form of medication to help dull the pain. After speaking with 10 other friends and relatives who had a similar procedure done, they were offered from a local to valium to help.After the procedure there was no comfort offered and some of the staff was laughing as she was screaming and crying. Today I accompanied her to the follow up appointment and the ultrasound tech was so rude and had such a lack of compassion about the pain my wife was still in, that we left after the tech said look how your treating me. Like the fact my wife was still in pain, traumatized, and concerned about how she was treated trumped the fact that the tech had to listen to her complaints about the procedure. WORST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN

My wife and I adore Dr. Poston. I could never thank her enough for everything she’s done for us! The cullman office is our favorite. The ultrasound techs, office workers, and drs are the best and in such a nice clean not super busy office. ❤️

This is an amazing group of people, I would highly recommend them to anyone! All of the staff was so caring and helpful and I love Dr. Lassiter. She was very attentive and truly cares for her patients. Thank you to everyone for making this a great experience and I will recommend this group to all who ask me.

Hey, so don’t get Lisa Franklin as your gyno if you need any medical advice. She’s incompetent and doesn’t want to listen to your symptoms.

Dr Poston is incredible! She went over and beyond to find out what my issue was. In 2 months I was seen, Diagnosed, and had surgery to correct it. I couldnt ask for a better Dr. She is in Cullman on Wednesdays. The rest of the week she is in Birmingham! She is the sweetest, she listens to the patient, and works efficiently to solve the issue! Thank you Dr Poston for literally SAVING MY LIFE!

I would not give them a star if I could. They have been giving me the run around for a while now. Ive had 5 paps in ONE YEAR! They still dont know what is going on! I called today to see if they ever found out anything, well they put me on hold. I was on hold for 5 minutes and then the hung up on me. I called again and they put me on hold for 20 minutes until they finally closed and still no answer! I do not recommend anyone going there. They will not deliver my children!

Worst doctors office ever they dont even take the time to look to see if everything is OK they rather get you out as fast as they can and they dont listen to your problems have been having heavy long periods for years now and all Dr Franklin recommend to do was take birth control now my symptoms are getting worse with constant cramping and pain Ive always has healthy periods my whole life until the past couple years and dont know what could be causing them if they would bother to take the time to look and run tests they would probably find the cause get that fixed then my periods would go back to normal but they rather get you out fast so I guess they can go hang out doing nothing switching doctors because I want someone who listens at first I thought it could have been because I didnt have insurance but even after getting insurance they didnt care to listen would give 0 stars If I could

I’ve waited in the front office for 90 minutes, just to be called to a room to sit for another hour. No reason anyone should have to wait almost 3 hours to see DR. Very disappointed.

I’ve never had a bad experience with this group. Everyone is so nice from the receptionist to Mamagram people! So glad my friend referred me to them.

Would never ever see Dr Hudson again made me feel so uncomfortable and wasn’t nice at all!!! Very disappointed he would not listen to my problems.
