My experience was rude today. Richard was not welcoming to my first experience . I say this because as soon as I walked in and was at the desk. I was not greeted ; I just was asked my name. Then I was rudely told that my appointment was not until 12:45. So, i will have to wait 45 mins. Time was not the problem but the delivery of the information was. Once, I set another lady of a different race and was greeted and welcomed how everyone should be. Mr. Richard at the front counter needs to do better.

I have been going to this doctors office to see Dr. Aisha from about 14 weeks of pregnancy up until 28. She is great very friendly very informed and you can tell she cares about her patient. In my opinion, she’s the best part of the doctors office. The nurses were very nice as well. Front desk staff and ultrasound Tech aren’t very personable or friendly. Also long wait times even though they say get there 15 minutes before you still have to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour. Honestly, the worst part is that the midwife doesn’t even deliver 6/7 days of the week and can’t say which days she’s available. It kind of defeats the purpose of regular check-ins. Not that it’s her fault but it’s definitely a con.

During my time being with UTMB for my first time pregnancy I really did not like that Dr.Regina has not provided enough information on what the reports show about my health or my baby health.i spoke to her about choosing my own hospital for labor and she pretty much told me no i have to choose their hospital. I later spoke to my insurance and they have told me i can choose whichever hospital my insurance takes. I called UTMB to let them know I will not be going to their hospital and the lady i spoke with was again trying to tell me i can only choose their and my insurance has to approve it, when i told her i already spoke to my insurance and they approved it she just said oh…um i’ll take note of it. If i were y’all i would be careful because all they care about is $$$ to get from your insurance and not letting you choose what you want.Also very disappointed about the phone call i got today stating that i have to go buy some pills Dr.Regina wants me to take and when i ask if i can get it prescribed, the nurse just said “it only cost $3, so you can get them over the counter” like wow my question was a yes or no. Some people dont even have $3 on them and i know damn well those pills dont cost that low. I have been very patience with this clinic and being at the end of my pregnancy they have gotten up to my last nerve. Highly suggested going somewhere else where they will actually care.

I called and asked about their services. As HTW states blood pressure screenings are covered. I was told this would not be covered under their services. Now I will look further into this for clarification. As I was made to believe by the operator/front desk that they only service pregnant women. Very discouraging and false if I might add.

I’ve been a patient at this clinic since I found out about my pregnancy. They expect you to arrive to your appointments 15 minutes early just to make you sit in the lobby 45+minutes before you’re even called back for service. I was late for ONE appointment & called to inform them before arriving. When I arrived, I had to sit in the lobby for 3 hours to have my ultrasound done. They stated that I had to wait there in order to be seen, I couldn’t leave & return! If it wasn’t for the concern of my uterus, I would have left & NEVER returned. Nevertheless, my doctor informed me that she won’t be the doctor to deliver my baby… this was very upsetting! This is my second pregnancy, &choosing this clinic has been an absolute MISTAKE! HIGHLY DON’T RECOMMEND!

Visited this clinic for the first time as a new patient and I am so impressed. I’ve never had a doctors office have such a fast turn around in testing and calling me back with my results. Every staff member I came into contact with was great. The nurse and NP listened to me and my concerns. The clinic was also very clean. And the online appointment setup was easy as well especially for being a new patient. Great job you guys and thank you for everything.

We were very well received from the first consultation since reception, they carried out all the possible tests that you need during pregnancy. Dr Regina Ney was very helpful and attentive, we are having a good initial experience.

My experience at UTMB was very poor. I’ve been going here since I was 6 weeks up until 25 weeks a one day . My doc regina ney wasn’t very talkative or knowledgeable, she let me know at 22 weeks that she wouldn’t be the doctor to deliver my baby. So I knew at that point this wasn’t the doctors office for me. . Didn’t say much at any of my visits . Unless I had a question This is my first pregnancy an I just feel like they don’t care much. They are just here for a check . They aren’t very friendly or happy with their career choices . Even at my 3 ultrasound appointments they just aren’t friendly & happy with helping expecting Moms . Very quite the whole time. Like talk to me. Tell me what position my baby is in . Tell me something. No feedback , not happy with this place. Needless to say. Today was my last visit. I found a better doctors office that’s much nicer & knowledgeable about expecting moms.

We had a fantastic experience at this clinic. We were treated super well, there were no long waits, and they have really empathetic and knowledgeable professionals. We’re very thankful for your service.

I’m not sure why the other reviews are negative, I had Ruth Preece and Regina Ney throughout my whole pregnancy, being a Type 1 Diabetic made me a high risk and they were so helpful and constantly aware of what was going on. They made some great healthcare calls to action as well. Because of them my beautiful baby boy came in early January and he is healthy and happy. I am also super healthy. I absolutely love this place and the entire team. When I have another child I will be here right away, and I’ll deliver in Galveston again. They are connected with Memorial Herman so I was planning on going there had I not been induced. But 10/10 highly recommend.

I just went here for the first time recently. I am a person who has very high anxiety with doctors. Please believe me when I tell you everyone that works here is amazing. The front desk was very polite and helpful. The nurses were very kind and the doctor had the most amazing bedside manner and was so gentle. Im so happy I found this office. Such a blessing.

Ive been coming here for a WHILE, and all my kids too, &Ive NEVER had a bad experience. All the girls are so friendly and helpful, Dr Aisha is super cool and does a great job at explaining everything and answering any questions I may have. 10/10 for the staff and the office all together.

I felt so welcomed by the moment I walked in, I didn’t have to wait at all. All of the staff was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. Everyone I came in contact with was very willing to help. The office was very clean and they follow all infection control protocols. I even got a personalized card to congratulate me on my pregnancy that was hand signed by everyone there. I’m very happy with my experience here!

The Katy office has the worst customer service front office personnel I’ve ever experienced. One of the ladies there is extremely rude. I thought she just had a problem with me but as I’ve observed every time I come to an appointment, she is rude to all the patients. Some patients just take it, some actually put her in her place. She is such an unhappy person and it really translates into her work. Oh and if you are a Spanish speaker, she is super condescending and although she is Hispanic herself, she gets upset that she has to repeat herself in Spanish when you don’t understand her English. As far as the doctor, I have no complaints. I wish she could find a team to represent her better.

My experience for a annual wellness exams and removal of iud was ok. the wait to be called was about 1hour to 1hr 30. Nurses and doctor were friendly and and seem interested. my removal was reschedule for two weeks because they didnt have the equipment for the procedure yet I was schedule to have it done that day. Overall clean place, friendly staff, long wait.

I did not like my experience here...From scheduling, to compassion of nurses/doctors, and the number of unnecessary appointments. (Isnt the 1st appointment usually to do an ultrasound? They didnt do it for over a week later.) Everything about this was terrible! After unfortunately losing my baby, I felt like no one cared, I was just another number, staring at me blankly. And lots of confusing information. From you are fine, no need for surgery or medication to less than 24 hours later this is urgent, but I cant tell you what you are going to have to do, they wont do anything for 2 weeks anyway. I had no say in my health care for my own body, I was completely out of control. Eventually I just went to the ER in pain and they did a D&C the following day. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This was the worst experience on top of my emotional loss, the lack of compassion and having to fight to get the health care I needed added insult to injury. I dont wish this nightmare on anyone!

I was in today for my annual well woman exam and it was great! From start to finish the women were nice, personable, knowledgeable just overall a great experience. I was nervous due to my insurance change however I made the right choice in picking this clinic 😍

I stopped going there a year ago because one day I was unable to see my regular doctor so I went with Another doctor instead. When she came in, she didnt seem very helpful and willing to listen to my concerns. She asked me standard questions and was quick to wrap things up. Before she left the room she asked if there was anything else and I was so upset and felt so disregarded that i told her no....I had nothing else to ask her and that i didnt feel she really very helpful and she didnt even greet me upon entry. She begins to add that she did and i asked her to just leave. As i was leaving she was literally talking ill about me not knowing i could hear her, so i went BACK into the room and asked to speak with her. I let her know i heard her and she was dead wrong and that Id be reporting her. Low and behold, my next appointment was a week or so later and from ONE visit, that only lasted all of 15 mins and my medical history N.E.V.E.R. EVER showing signs of schizophrenia (only DEPRESSION from abuse and ADHD!) I see schizophrenia listed on my medical records and i was MORTIFIED! How can you diagnose someone in 15 mins doing NOT testing for it, and because i was upset and crying im schizophrenic??? Has she read in my records she would have known that I was depressed because of abuse that was carrying on while I was pregnant! Instead she put that on my record and i had to seek the supervisor to have it off! I have seeing a psychiatrist for years who has definitely deemed that I am not schizophrenic and not even bipolar! The fact she could do that only having one visit with me and because i CONFRONTED her blew my mind and hurt me. Langford or something was her name. This office is a no no. I recently had to return because my other doctor moved away and was BLESSED to have a NEW doctor with an amazing spirit. Listened, sweet, everything a woman needs from her doctor. Although the different doc i got this time is sweet, i still would not recommend this office. Too many reviews about malpractice and from my experience, i believe it🤷🏼

Sooo Today was my first time going to the clinic,I was Sooo nervous I almost peed on myself. I saw the nurses and,Another nurse who did my Pap smear. I don’t remember there names but they were both SOO nice and,Made me laugh which helped my nerves. I definitely will be coming back for all my regular appointments.

Over booking their appointments so much I finally had to say something... Every time we have an appointment we sit in the main waiting room for at least 1 hour before we are asked to reschedule or finally called back to the rooms. Parents need to control their offspring considering other and that we dont want hear the glass shattering screams every second you arnt watching your kids because you have to many and cant control yourself as well as the 6 kids you have birthed...

I havent had the opportunity to visit this location or any of these locations. In a telephone call moments ago, and prior to even scheduling an appointment, Ive been asked my race, religion, and 2 security questions; JUST to establish an appointment??? What does the privacy laws say about this? Although John was very nice on the telephone and as he sat with his trainer, this was a tad bit too much just to establish an appointment. Is all of that really needed to determine if youll want me to be a patient? Will my appointment time depend on if Im black/white/hispanic? These are questions that should be ONLY on paper and in the office!

Took me 2 months to get an appt. Come to my appt today they told me to come at 9:45 my appt was at 10am. It is now 10:45 and I have not been seen or called back yet. I keep going to the front seat to ask what’s the hold on. They are not even communicating with me. Waste of visit

Dr Mallory (pretty sure I’m spelling that wrong) but she was great and so caring with my condition. I wish I could have continued seeing her as my OB but because they deliver in Galveston unfortunately I had to change Dr that delivers closer to home since I have a one year old. Thank you Dr Mallory for actually caring ❤️

Worst experience ever.Ruth Preece shouldn’t practice medicineWe are in the process of suing her, and the clinic.My wife is going to surgery because Ms Preece misplaced the IUD outside the cervix, and didn’t even care to do an ultrasound to check her work afterwards. Not only that. But when my wife started feeling pain the following day, she performed an ultrasound and told her that the IUD is there but just a little lower than it should be.We went to REAL doctor who couldn’t see ANYTHING inside the cervix on ultrasound, had to do a C-T scan to find out that the devise was placed into her abdominal touching her bladder putting her life in danger.Just sharing our experience. And we’re gonna have a long way with her in court rooms.Medicine practicing is all about money nowadays “with few exceptions” with NO care about the patient as long as he/she is paying.

So my daughter got sick at school (very sick), went to pick her up and the school nurse told me to take her to the doctor the same day which I did, went directly to utmb and give the from office the nurse note. Then we spent 1 hour 30 min. And nothing so went back to the from office to ask when my daughter was going to been seen by the NURSE and she said: she is next, went back to my sit, min. Later a nurse comes out and calls somebody else and I told her that in the from office they said that my kid was next that she was sick and the other kids were there for routine check ups!! and just was amazed by her response: well they have appointments and she doesnt, thats the polices.Never felt this upset! My daughter was sick and nobody care

Mídwives aré rough and with no bedside manners. Specially Ágatha B. She is so rude. They like yo perform unecessary procedures all the time and Get really mad if you try to refuse.The average wait for an appointment is 3 weeks they dont care if you are having miscarriage symptoms.

I went here for first time. The doctors and nurses were excellent. the staff was amazing.They were so patient and loving with my toddler that i brought her there for her check up. I highly recommend them.

The nurses were nice. The appt. Took about an hour with 10 min. In Waiting area. I would go here again. Highly recommend Dr. BOLA🙂

My first time there for a well womans visit and everyone was nice everything was fast I will come here again I really liked Doctor Ruth she was nice and informative.

My daughter has been coming here since she was born & never had a problem here. The staff is very professional & Her pediatrician is caring.

They always provide excellent service. Very nice people here. I brought my cousin here and she was super satisfied with their service and care.

The woman at the front desk with fake blue contacts and bright brown hair makes the client stand there & wait until shes done having a conversation with her co-worker.

Im currently a patient here with Katy Utmb for my prenatal care. I am 8 months pregnant and got involved in a carwreck yesterday. I was taken care of at the hospital that I will deliver yet it is not the hospital that UTMB delivers. Because I hit my stomach I was being monitored for hours at the hospital to make sure everything is okay. My OB at Katy utmb ordered a full ultrasound to be done at the hospital. When I was released at the hospital I was told to get in contact with my OB as soon as possible since I did miss my biweekly appointment due to the car accident that happened on my way to Katy utmb. I call Katy utmb and apparently the soonest they can see me is until Tuesday. So pretty much another week for my cheer up is the soonest they can see me?????? Its obvious that they do not care about my care and situation considering the fact that I got into a carwreck and missed my appointment due to that. I was specific and told the receptionist Im out of prenatals and iron and didnt mention ANYTHING about. I guess my health and my babies doesnt matter. I do not recommend this place because its obvious they dont care about my special circumstance.

Very kind, Dr. Aisha took care of me throughout my pregnancy and was wonderful. And the Utmb in Galveston I gave birth to my 2 children there, and they were all very kind and empathetic. Thank you ❤️

The truth is that I am 10 days away from giving birth and so far the care has been quite good, the nurses are very kind and very efficient. The only thing I didnt like very much is that they do very few ultrasounds outside and I had a good experience. They had put Dr. Ruth Precce in and one day they put another doctor called Miss Aísha, who I highly recommend since she is a great professional and has incredible treatment. In none of my pregnancies have I felt as comfortable as I did with that doctor.

Since my pregnancy began, I have been treated at this clinic. The truth is, very good service and attention. They took care of all my procedures and documents. The receptionists and nurses were very good people and very kind, but Dr. Aisha Olaleye, my respects to her, a special kind doctor. very attentive and very loving, she gives you very good care, she is the third doctor who treats me and with whom I have had the best experience, I would like her to continue caring for me during the remainder of my pregnancy and if God allows her to be there at the time of delivery giving birth to my baby, congratulations to doctor Aisha, very good doctor

I have been in this clinic for more than 10 years and they have always treated me very well, the service now is much better than before, all the staff are super friendly, very hygienic, I highly recommend it.

I had the best medical care since I became pregnant, they were in charge of filling out all kinds of information for me, and my entire pregnancy had the best care until my baby was born and I had to change because of the distance, it was the best, thank you, Dr. Ruth Preece and Regina Ney

Very bad servicesthey give me pills potentially contraindicated for pregnancy and they told me nothing will happenNurses dont know what they doing.....I m 8 weeks i could lose my baby... thanks God I go ask another doctor.Terrible service, very rude... it seems to me that they are racist, in my opinion I will not return here. I was prescribed category C pills that can kill my baby and this nurse told me that nothing is wrong and there are no more pills that can help me, they are the worst, thank God I asked other doctors and they told me that it is crazy, I can kill myself. Baby, dont drink at all. If I had money, I would report them.
