Dr. Parker was thorough in answering questions and putting me at ease as a new client. She was very attentive during our appointment. Showed great compassion and empathy for what I was communicating and was very reassuring.

She unsuccessfully performed a lap on me. My post op was canceled while on the way and I never recieved a follow up or reschedule. I had to have a second lap one month later at a different location. The care was hands down better.

Dr. Parker is a wonderful OB/GYN. She has a calming and reassuring presence during appointments and procedures. After having surgery, she checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was having a smooth recovery. Highly highly recommend!

It is hard to put into words how much Dr. Parker means to my husband and me; not only from a medical standpoint, but also now on a personal level.We unexpectedly lost our son at 16 weeks. It was blindsiding and devastating. Dr. Parker was there for us every step of the way. After the news was confirmed via ultrasound, she listened to us patiently for over 45 minutes explaining our options and talking us through it.Ultimately, I had to deliver that same day. She called and texted the staff at the hospital to let them know we were coming. When we got checked in, she called my cell phone to check on us and has continued to stay in touch with me during this difficult time. I am blown away by her kindness, compassion and availability outside of scheduled appointments.In addition to caring for my physical well-being, Dr. Parker also made a point to focus on our mental health and stressed the need to process the grief and trauma. I (fortunately) have not experienced a lot of loss in my life and this encouragement from a clinical perspective has been invaluable.She has been just as much of a friend as a doctor and we continue to feel comforted by her knowledge and expertise. Dr. Parker goes above and beyond the duties of her job and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking prenatal care.

I am a 65 year old woman who has had good relationships with physicians but I have never been comfortable with a gynecologist until I went to Dr. Alison Parker. My problem required several visits and I had some genuine concern that it could not be resolved. Throughout it all, Dr. Parker was reassuring, clearly competent, and supportive and a viable solution was found. I will never enjoy such an invasive doctors appointment, but going to Allison Parker will never ruin my day. She and her staff are great.

Dr. Parker is compassionate, straightforward, and solution oriented. Other physicians minimized my issues after childbirth, and did not address my concerns. Dr. Parker, however, took an active role in helping solve my problems and now things are steadily improving.

Becky was my ultrasound tech and did fantastic! Very patient and went above and beyond. Love Dr. Parker as well. She delivered 2 of my children and this is my 4th pregnancy and I always love having her for my visits

I always have prompt responses from Dr. Alison Parker’s office! They are there to help anytime I need them and that means more than you could ever imagine, especially because of some of the health issues I have. She is a wonderful and considerate doctor and I would recommend her to anybody!

I went to see Dr. Parker to get a more thorough exam as to what might be going on with me after having a less than satisfactory experience at NHRMC ED. I arrived about 10 minutes late to my appointment (due to heavy traffic) and was told they would have to work me in since I was late. Once Dr. Parker was able to see me, she spent less than 5 minutes in the room with me and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her/she had somewhere else to be. None of my concerns were addressed and when I asked her if it was normal to be experiencing what I experienced she said I have no idea and basically left the room. I am very displeased with her service and none of my questions were answered.To follow up on this post, a few months later I had the same pain I was experiencing when I went to see Dr. Parker, except I was on a plane to San Francisco, CA. I ended up going to the ER for an ovarian torsion (ovary completely twisted around itself) and had to get my ovary removed. The staff at UCSF Medical Center ED assured me it is very likely this instance was the same thing that happened a few months prior (when I went to see Dr. Parker and she shewed me out of the office, never giving me a physical exam or examining my body in any way). I reached out to her personally to tell her of my dissatisfaction and she never made the effort to reach out to me or respond. Honestly, I am thankful I was in SF for this event to happen so that I got a higher quality of care there.

She talked over me almost the entire appointment. My concerns were not addressed. Her professionalism was lacking. She fixated on one concern the entire appointment so much that I couldnt discuss anything else with her. I felt like I was dealing with someone that needs a break from life. She overwhelmed me.

I was able to ask questions and get answers. Dr. Parker considered my requests. She checked in with me even when I didnt expect her to.
